Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan yaitu untuk : menganalisis struktur pasar ternak sapi Semurup Kabupaten Kerinci berdasarkan konsentrasi penjual dan pembeli dan mengetahui hambatan masuk pasar (barrier to entry) di pasar ternak sapi Semurup Kabupaten Kerinci. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode penentuan responden secara sensus. Adapun objek yang diamati adalah penjual dan pembeli ternak sapi di pasar ternak Semurup Kabupaten Kerinci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  struktur pasar ternak berdasarkan konsentrasi penjual di pasar ternak Semurup Kabupaten Kerinci adalah persaingan oligopoli dengan konsentrasi rendah. Struktur pasar ternak Semurup berdasarkan konsentrasi pembeli dengan pendekatan Hirschman Index (IHH) adalah oligopsoni, sedangkan dengan pendekatan CR4  (Concentration Ratio For Biggest Four) struktur pasar persaingan sempurna.  Hambatan masuk pasar dengan pendekatan Minimum efficient scale (MES) dapat menggambarkan hambatan masuk pasar ternak Semurup Kabupaten Kerinci tergolong tinggi.

Abstract

Integrasi Location Quotient (LQ) dan Model Ratio Pertumbuhan (MRP) menawarkan pendekatan inovatif dalam pemetaan potensi pengembangan sapi potong di Indonesia. Melalui review sistematis literatur terkini, analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan terintegrasi ini secara signifikan meningkatkan akurasi identifikasi wilayah potensial dibandingkan penggunaan metode secara terpisah. Keunggulan utama terletak pada kemampuannya menggabungkan aspek statis dan dinamis, memungkinkan identifikasi komprehensif wilayah dengan keunggulan komparatif saat ini serta potensi pertumbuhan masa depan. Implementasi di Indonesia telah berkontribusi pada reorientasi kebijakan pengembangan sapi potong di tingkat provinsi dan nasional, termasuk adopsinya dalam pemetaan potensi peternakan nasional. Meskipun demikian, tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan dalam menangkap faktor-faktor kualitatif dan ketersediaan data yang reliabel di tingkat kabupaten/kota. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan peningkatan kapasitas pemangku kepentingan, investasi dalam sistem data, pengembangan framework mixed-method, dan integrasi faktor lingkungan dalam analisis. Implikasi dari pendekatan ini signifikan bagi perumusan kebijakan pengembangan sapi potong yang lebih tepat sasaran dan berkelanjutan di Indonesia, menawarkan landasan untuk optimalisasi strategi pengembangan sektor peternakan secara nasional.

Mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) catching activities generally use collapsible traps. collapsible traps can be operated using bait and not using bait but the catch is less effective if it does not use bait. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using different types of bait (fresh stingray, salted stingray, fresh eel, and salted eel) on the catch of mangrove crab in Kampung Laut waters. The material of this research is the catch of mangrove crabs using fresh stingrays, salted stingrays, fresh eels, and salted eels as bait. The research method used is experimental fishing. The data collected includes environmental parameters, the total number of catches, and the size of the catch. Data analysis used a completely randomized design (CRD) and Duncan's follow-up test. The results showed that the different types of bait used had an effect on the number of catches, catch weight, and catch size. This study concludes that the catch of mangrove crabs with salted stingray bait gets the most catches, namely 16 fish, and on salted eel bait gets 13 catches while fresh stingray bait treatment only gets 7 catches and on fresh eel gets 5 catches.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku peternak pelaku integrasi sawit sapi (ISS) dampak Program Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat. Pendekatan dalam menganalisis perilaku peternak pada penelitian ini ditinjau dari praktik peternak dalam alokasi waktu pengembalaan, alokasi waktu meramban pakan hijauan dan alokasi waktu ternak dikandangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan jenis data terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 80 peternak pelaku integrasi sapi sawit.  Metode penentuan responden menggunakan non-probabilty sampling yaitu purposive sampling dengan kriteria:  peternak yang melakukan pengembalaan ternak sapi, meramban hijauan pakan ternak pada areal perkebunan kelapa sawit atau menggunakan limbah tanaman kelapa sawit sebagai sumber pasokan pakan ternak sapi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan alokasi waktu pengembalaan ternak sapi dipengaruhi oleh jarak dari pemukiman ke daerah penggembalaan, dummy lokasi penggembalaan dan dummy desa program PSR. Untuk alokasi waktu meramban hijauan pakan ternak sapi dipengaruhi oleh Jarak pemukiman ke tempat pengumpulan sumber hijauan, dummy lokasi pengambilan hijauan makanan ternak dan dummy desa program PSR. Sedangkan untuk alokasi waktu ternak dikandangkan dipengaruhi oleh jarak dari pemukiman ke daerah penggembalaan, dummy lokasi pengembalaan dan dummy desa program PSR.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Program Peremajaan Kelapa Sawit Rakyat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku peternak dalam praktik pengembalaan ternak, perambanan pakan hijauan dan waktu pengandangan ternak.
