Abstract

Changes in land use and cover are inevitable as a result of human intervention, both cyclically and permanently. Rapid population growth accompanied by increasing demand for land, often results in conflicts of interest over land, resulting in inconsistencies between land use and spatial planning. The purpose of this study is to determine changes and land use from 2014 to 2023. The classification method used in this study is Maximum Likelihood. The data in this study were processed from Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS Satellite Imagery for 2014 and Landsat 9 OLI-2/TIRS-2 for 2023. The results of the study showed that built-up land and open land increased by 6.89 km2 and 9.27 km2 respectively. Meanwhile, agriculture and vegetation tended to decrease by 12.11 km2 and 4 km2 respectively. These results sufficiently describe the conditions of changes in land use and cover that occurred in Lasalimu District, considering that the accuracy of the resulting map is >80%.

Abstract

Seawater intrusion is a groundwater problem in coastal areas because it can directly affect groundwater quality, resulting in an impact on the quality and quantity of the groundwater itself. Groundwater that was originally suitable for drinking has decreased in quality and is no longer suitable for daily use. This study aims to determine the quality status of shallow groundwater in Anggalomelai Village, Abeli District, Kendari City, using the Pollution Index Method as stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia Number 115 of 2003 concerning Guidelines for Determining Water Quality Status. Samples were taken at three different locations in Anggalomelai Village, then tested for parameters such as temperature, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Electrical Conductivity, Potential Hydrogen (pH), chloride, sodium, salinity, and E. coli. This research method refers to the quality standards set out in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management. The results showed that Sampling Point I was categorized as meetingquality standards with a Pollution Index value of 0.439 and a good status, while Sampling Point II was also categorized as meeting quality standards with a Pollution Index value of 0.283 and a good status. Sampling Point III falls into the category of meeting quality standards with a Pollution Index value of 0.597 with a good status . The conclusion of this study is that the quality status of shallow groundwater in Anggalomelai Village is classified as good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the status of well water quality due to seawater intrusion in Dapu-Dapura Village, West Kendari District, Kendari City. The analysis method used is the IP (Pollution Index) method with Purposive Sampling technique to analyze samples from several wells in Dapu-Dapura Village, West Kendari District, Kendari City. The parameters measured are Temperature, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Electrical Conductivity (DHL), Potential of Hydrogen (pH), Sodium (Na+), Chloride (Cl-), Salinity andEscherichia coli. The results of the study showed that the Pollution Index value at station I was 0.466, at station II 0.453, and at station III 0.455. Therefore, the well water quality status in Dapu-Dapura Village is, West Kendari District, Kendari Citystill included in the classification of meeting quality standards based on class 1 quality standards in Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the willingness to pay of the community towards PDAM Tirta Lamaindo and to identify the factors that influence willingness to pay or WTP in Bahari Village, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency. This study was conducted in April–May 2025 with a sample size of 67 households determined using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The types of data used included quantitative and qualitative data, with primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis was performed using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) to calculate the WTP value and multiple linear regression analysis to determine the factors affecting WTP with the help of SPSS 25 software. The results showed that the average WTP of the community was IDR 23,283.58 per month per household, with the majority of respondents willing to pay IDR 20,000. Factors influencing WTP included user age, income, highest level of education, number of users, water quality, and monthly water payments. Income influenced the amount of WTP, with higher income leading to greater willingness to pay. Conversely, higher education and current monthly water payments tend to decrease WTP. Age, number of water users in the household, and physical water quality do not significantly affect WTP. These findings indicate that the economic aspects of the community are an important consideration in efforts to improve service quality and adjust clean water tariffs.

Abstract

Desa Tridama Mulya terletak di Kecamatan Landono Kabupaten Konawe Selatan yang memiliki potensi kelapa yang sangat melimpah. Namun, pemanfaatan oleh masyarakat masih terbatas, karena sebagian besar hanya digunakan untuk konsumsi rumah tangga atau dijual dalam kondisi mentah tanpa melalui proses pengolahan lanjutan. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan warga desa dalam mengolah kelapa menjadi Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), sebuah produk bernilai ekonomi tinggi dan memiliki berbagai manfaat kesehatan. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan dengan menggunakan metode penyuluhan, demonstrasi, serta praktik langsung yang mengedepankan pendekatan partisipatif. Kegiatan tersebut melibatkan 30 peserta yang terdiri atas ibu rumah tangga, kalangan pemuda, dan anggota kelompok tani. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta yang signifikan dalam pembuatan VCO, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test sebesar rata-rata 81,9%. Dari enam kelompok peserta, lima diantaranya berhasil memproduksi VCO dengan kualitas yang baik. Mayoritas peserta peserta juga memperlihatkan antusiasme tinggi untuk melanjutkan usaha pengolahan VCO secara individu maupun kelompok. Namun beberapa tantangan masih dihadapi seperti keterbatasan peralatan, minimnya pengalaman dalam pemasaran, serta belum terbentuknya kelembagaan usaha. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan tindak lanjut berupa pelatihan kewirausahaan, pembekalan strategi pemasaran, dan pengembangan kelembagaan lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan kawasan ekowisata di Desa Longa, Kecamatan Wangi-Wangi, Kabupaten Wakatobi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November–Desember 2024 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi pengembangan kawasan ekowisata serta merumuskan strategi yang tepat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan kawasan ekowisata di Desa Longa, Kecamatan Wangi-Wangi, Kabupaten Wakatobi adalah strategi S-O yaitu memanfaatkan promosi untuk meraih peluang yaitu pemanfaatan kekuatan yang di miliki guna menangkap peluang yang ada. Meningkatkan promosi melalui media sosial dan platform digita untuk menarik lebih banyak wisatawan, memanfaatkan dukungan pemerintah dan kerjasama dengan pihak luar untuk pembangunan infrastruktur dan fasilitas wisata. Implementasi pengembangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadikan Pantai Sahara sebagai destinasi ekowisata yang unggul, berkelanjutan, serta mampu memberikan manfaat ekonomi dan sosial bagi masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Abstract: Agroforestry is a strategy in community forest management that plays an important role in land conservation and food provision. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of farmers, the classification of agroforestry systems, the application of agroforestry patterns, and the types of plants that make up the agroforestry land of farmer groups in Andalambe Village, North Tongauna District, Konawe Regency. This study used a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach, interviews, and field observations. The descriptive method was used to describe the classification of agroforestry system implementation, agroforestry patterns, and types of plants in the study location. The results showed that the agroforestry classification applied by farmers was the agrisilviculture system, with 27% of farmers applying the alternate rows agroforestry pattern and 73% applying the random mixture agroforestry pattern. The types of plants used in agroforestry included forestry plants, plantation plants, and agricultural plants, with a total of fourteen types of plants recorded. The types of plants used were dominated by those for forest and land conservation (23%) and for sustainable local food supply (20%). This study is expected to contribute to the development of a community-based agroforestry forest management model to support forest and land conservation and sustainable food supply.

Abstract

Kesehatan lingkungan sekolah merupakan komponen penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, bersih, dan kondusif bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi kesehatan lingkungan di SD Negeri 91 Kendari melalui wawancara, angket yang memuat 57 indikator sekolah sehat dan sekolah aman, serta observasi lapangan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan untuk memvalidasi jawaban angket, sedangkan wawancara mendalami implementasi kebersihan, sanitasi, keamanan lingkungan, dan penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh 39 indikator sekolah sehat terpenuhi, sedangkan pada 18 indikator sekolah aman terdapat 17 indikator yang terpenuhi dan 1 indikator tidak diisi, yaitu ketersediaan APAR. Observasi lapangan juga tidak menemukan keberadaan APAR, sehingga indikator tersebut dinilai belum terpenuhi. Secara umum, kondisi bangunan, sanitasi, drainase, kantin, dan perilaku higienis siswa berada dalam kategori baik dan mendukung terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang sehat. Lingkungan sosial sekolah juga aman, tercermin dari tidak ditemukannya perilaku kekerasan maupun bullying, serta adanya petugas keamanan yang aktif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa SD Negeri 91 Kendari telah memenuhi sebagian besar standar sekolah sehat dan sekolah aman, sehingga berpotensi menjadi model penerapan kesehatan lingkungan sekolah di Kota Kendari. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi sekolah lain dan pemerintah daerah dalam penguatan program kesehatan lingkungan sekolah

Abstract

Purpose: This program aimed to enhance elementary students’ understanding of biopore infiltration holes as a low-cost solution for mitigating waterlogging and addressing inadequate drainage at SDN 100 Kendari. Method: The intervention combined interactive lectures, live demonstrations, hands-on construction, and guided discussions. Learning outcomes were evaluated using standardized pre-test and post-test instruments. Practical Applications: The activity enabled students to construct functional biopores that improve groundwater absorption, reduce surface runoff, and facilitate organic waste management, providing a replicable framework for school-based environmental management. Conclusion: Student comprehension significantly increased from 10–20% to 80–90%. These results demonstrate that participatory environmental education effectively fosters ecological literacy and supports localized flood mitigation in urban school settings.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi Big Data Analytics (BDA) telah menjadi kunci dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis, khususnya dalam memprediksi permintaan pasar yang dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran BDA dalam proses manajemen teknologi untuk meningkatkan akurasi prediksi permintaan pasar. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis data sekunder yang diperoleh dari perusahaan yang telah menerapkan BDA dalam operasionalnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan BDA tidak hanya meningkatkan akurasi prediksi tetapi juga membantu organisasi mengidentifikasi pola perilaku konsumen, tren pasar, dan peluang bisnis baru secara lebih efisien. Selain itu, penerapan BDA mendukung pengelolaan teknologi yang lebih adaptif melalui integrasi data real-time dengan sistem manajemen operasional perusahaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dengan memperkuat literatur terkait manajemen teknologi berbasis data, serta kontribusi praktis berupa rekomendasi untuk perusahaan dalam mengoptimalkan implementasi BDA untuk pengambilan keputusan strategis. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa adopsi BDA merupakan langkah krusial dalam menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif, terutama di era disrupsi digital saat ini.
