Abstract

Social media also uses stimuli to influence customer perceptions and behavior. Therefore, companies use it as a strategic tool to develop strategies to enhance their corporate image, brand loyalty, brand awareness, brand equity, and brand sustainability. Currently, companies predominantly build their social media sites and share interesting information about their products to raise awareness and improve brand-building effectiveness and customer acquisition. Social media has become an important and easy platform for delivering information to the public. In this context, The Jayakarta Hotel has followed the promotional trend through digital marketing. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by distributing an online questionnaire using Google Forms to 115 respondents. The method used in this research is purposive sampling. The data analysis techniques employed include simple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, and the t-test. The results of this study show that the influence of Instagram social media on the decision to stay has a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This means that the regression model used in this study has a partial or valid effect, indicating that H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that Instagram social media has a positive and significant influence on the decision to stay at The Jayakarta Hotel Bali Beach & Resort.

Abstract

Employees play a crucial role in creating added value for a company through innovation, operational efficiency, and excellent customer service. Leadership factors have a significant role in determining the success of an organization's goals in building good employee performance. Motivated by several employee performance issues, this research aims to examine how the leadership style applied at Hotel KUBE, influences employee performance. The data collected in this study consist of questionnaire responses from a sample of 57 participants using purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is a non-probability sampling technique in which the researcher selects samples based on specific considerations or objectives deemed relevant to the study. The sample selection is carried out intentionally to ensure that the samples possess certain characteristics required to answer the research questions. According to the theories of Sugiyono (2017) and Etikan and Bala (2020), purposive sampling is used when researchers have specific criteria or considerations in selecting research subjects, so the selected subjects are expected to provide in-depth information. Data collection utilized Likert scale questionnaires. The data analysis technique employed simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination test. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Leadership Style does not have a significant influence on employee performance at Hotel KUBE, with an R2 value of 0.082 or 8.2%. The calculated t-value of -2.213 is smaller than the t-table value of 1.673, and the significance value is <α = 0.031 < 0.005.

Abstract

A positive work environment, characterized by fair leadership and supportive colleagues, can enhance employee comfort and performance. Conversely, a negative work environment can hinder performance. This study aimed to examine the influence of the work environment on employee performance at Hotel PRL. The study population comprised 582 employees at the supervisor and staff levels, with a sample of 85 respondents selected through probability sampling using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale to measure 24 statement items. Data analysis techniques employed included simple linear analysis, t-test, and the coefficient of determination, processed using SPSS version 29. The results showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect of 79.8% on employee performance. This highlights the importance of creating a conducive work environment to improve employee performance, especially since the average employee performance scores in 2022 and 2023 were still below the established standards, despite the positive influence of the work environment..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style on employee turnover intensity at Hotel GI, Bali. The sample consisted of 47 respondents selected using stratified random sampling. This technique is appropriate due to the heterogeneous population with distinct subgroups, ensuring proportional representation. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires with a Likert scale. Leadership style was used as the independent variable and turnover intention as the dependent variable. Validity and reliability tests were carried out to ensure a robust research instrument (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.8). Simple linear regression analysis showed that leadership style has a significant negative effect on turnover intention (R = 62.5%). This means that the application of better leadership styles can reduce employees' desire to leave the organization. This research result is in line with the Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) theory which emphasizes the positive impact of a strong relationship between leaders and employees on job satisfaction and retention. This study also supports previous research on the role of transformational leadership in reducing turnover. It is recommended that leaders implement clear and directed leadership styles to minimize misunderstandings and improve employee retention..

Abstract

This study examines the influence of risk management, visitor satisfaction, and destination accessibility on the reputation of Bali’s tourism industry. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 140 respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings reveal that visitor satisfaction is the most influential factor, followed by destination accessibility and risk management. Visitor satisfaction significantly enhances the reputation by providing high-quality experiences and fostering positive word-of-mouth. Destination accessibility is vital in ensuring seamless travel and inclusivity, while risk management builds trust through effective safety measures. The study underscores the need for an integrated approach that balances these factors to sustain Bali's position as a leading global tourist destination. Recommendations for policymakers and industry stakeholders are provided to enhance reputation through strategic interventions.

Abstract

Employee loyalty reflects the commitment of employees to their company, fostering a sense of responsibility and belonging. It goes beyond simply staying with the organization; it involves employees feeling integrated within the company, which helps them maximize their performance. One key factor influencing employee loyalty is leadership style. The effectiveness of any leadership style depends greatly on the situational context in which it is applied. Therefore, understanding how leadership style impacts employee loyalty is essential. This research identified specific elements of leadership style that negatively and significantly affect employee loyalty at Furamaxclusive Resort and Villas Ubud. The study found that leadership style accounts for 56.1% of employee loyalty, indicating a substantial influence. However, 43.9% of the variance in employee loyalty is attributed to other factors that were not explored in this study. In conclusion, while leadership style plays a major role in fostering employee loyalty, organizations should also consider other factors such as work environment, career development, and employee recognition to enhance overall loyalty. Addressing these elements holistically can result in more loyal and dedicated employees.
