Abstract

This research investigates consumer perceptions of product quality, sales promotion, and ease of purchase in the context of start-up companies in Indonesia. A quantitative research design, employing a sample of 150 participants, explores the relationships between these factors and their collective impact on consumer purchasing decisions. The study utilizes a cross-sectional survey approach, including demographic variables, and employs statistical analysis, including correlation and regression analyses with SPSS. The findings highlight the significance of product quality, sales promotion, and ease of purchase in shaping consumer preferences. Product quality emerges as the strongest influencer, followed by sales promotion and ease of purchase. Demographic variations further emphasize the need for tailored marketing strategies. The research contributes valuable insights for start-ups aiming to navigate Indonesia's diverse consumer landscape.

Abstract

The tourism industry in Bali represents a dynamic and competitive landscape, where businesses strive to gain and maintain a competitive advantage in a global market. This study investigates the influence of employee competence and organizational culture on competitive advantage within the context of the tourism sector in Bali. A quantitative approach utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis was employed to analyze data collected from 170 participants working in various tourism-related businesses. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between employee competence, organizational culture, and competitive advantage. Employee competence was found to positively influence organizational culture and competitive advantage, while organizational culture was positively associated with competitive advantage. Furthermore, organizational culture partially mediated the relationship between employee competence and competitive advantage. These findings underscore the importance of investing in employee development and fostering a positive organizational culture to enhance competitiveness in the tourism industry in Bali.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of technological innovation and design creativity on the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 267 tourists visiting various destinations in Bali. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis was used to analyze the relationships between technological innovation, design creativity, and destination attractiveness. The results revealed significant positive relationships between technological innovation and destination attractiveness (β = 0.543, p < 0.001) and between design creativity and destination attractiveness (β = 0.486, p < 0.001). The model fit assessment indicated satisfactory fit indices for the SEM-PLS model. Overall, the findings highlight the importance of leveraging technological innovation and design creativity to enhance the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali and foster sustainable tourism growth.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of marketing strategy, accessibility, and tourism support infrastructure on foreign tourist satisfaction in Bali, Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was collected from 200 foreign tourists through structured questionnaires, employing a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The data was analyzed using SPSS 26 software. The findings reveal that all hypotheses are positive and significant, indicating that effective marketing strategies, improved accessibility, and robust tourism support infrastructure substantially enhance foreign tourist satisfaction. These results underscore the importance of strategic marketing, accessible facilities, and comprehensive infrastructure in promoting tourist satisfaction and sustaining Bali's tourism industry. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders aiming to boost Bali's attractiveness as a global tourist destination.

Abstract

Good human resource performance with a high work ethic will be able to help companies meet the company's targets and help the company gain profits, whereas if employee performance decreases and is bad it will harm the company. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an influence of work discipline on employee performance at the Harris Riverview Kuta Hotel. This study uses a quantitative approach . The subjects of this study were employees at the Harris Review Kuta Bali Hotel. The number of employees is 45 employees. the sample in this study were all employees, totaling 45 people. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Harris Riverview Kuta Hotel. based on the results of a simple linear regression test performed with the regression equation Y = 20.634 + 0.634x. The influence given is also a significant influence based on the results of the t test, with a calculated t value of 4.214 and a significance value of 0.000. The influence contribution given by the Work Discipline variable on Employee Performance is classified as a weak influence that is equal to 29.2%.

Abstract

This research explored the perspectives of Generation Z at Politeknik Pariwisata Bali on the role of social media in shaping entrepreneurship in culinary business. The study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing questionnaires, observations, and interviews to collect data from a sample of 100 Generation Z students majoring in Hotel Management Study Program. The results of the analysis indicate that the majority of respondents (95%) view social media as a source of inspiration and a platform for interaction for young entrepreneurs. Additionally, 87% expressed that the institution has provided adequate avenues for entrepreneurship in culinary business through internet networking (87%), entrepreneurship-related events or activities (92%), and the Student Activity Unit at Politeknik Pariwisata Bali (78%). However, there were findings regarding potential negative impacts of social media on entrepreneurial character, such as perceptions of instant success (86%) and a perceived lack of management involvement in organized activities (86%). These findings underscore the importance of adopting a thoughtful approach in integrating social media to support the development of entrepreneurship in culinary business among Generation Z, particularly those at Politeknik Pariwisata Bali.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate how job insecurity and workload, both individually and in combination, affected employee work stress at LA Hotel Seminyak during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data for this research were collected through various methods, including observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. A total of 36 respondents participated in the study, and a saturated sampling technique was used. The data analysis involved classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the determination of the coefficient of determination. The findings of this study revealed that job insecurity, when considered individually, had a positive and statistically significant impact on employee work stress. Similarly, workload, when examined in isolation, also had a positive and significant effect on employee work stress. When both job insecurity and workload were considered together, they collectively had a significant influence on employee work stress. The coefficient of determination test indicated that job insecurity and workload together accounted for 66.0% of the variance in work stress, while the remaining 34.0% was attributed to other variables not addressed in this study.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan langkah bijak dalam mengembangkan potensi desa. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berlangsung selama dua hari pada tanggal 21-22 bulan september tahun 2023 di desa wisata cemagi. pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan digital marketing pada 25 pemuda desa. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat sangat dibutuhkan terkait keberadaan desa wisata Cemagi dalam perkembangan pariwisata global. Program pelatihan terkait digital marketing diselenggarakan selama dua hari, bertempat di balai desa wisata Cemagi. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat melalui penerapan digital marketing menjadi langkah esensial dalam mendukung perkembangan desa wisata dan meningkatkan daya saingnya di era digital saat ini. Dengan menggunakan alat-alat digital yang sesuai dan melibatkan penduduk setempat, desa wisata dapat mengoptimalkan potensi wisatawan, menciptakan pekerjaan lokal, serta mempromosikan dan melestarikan warisan budaya mereka secara global. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan digital marketing merupakan investasi yang sangat bernilai untuk memajukan masa depan desa wisata.Hasil yang diperoleh adalah meningkatnya kemampuan dan ketrampilan yang dimiliki masyarakat desa wisata Cemagi terkait pemasaran digital, terhadap produk industry pariwisata, seperti pondok wisata, paket wisata, dan produk UMKM. Community engagement programs are a wise step in harnessing the potential of a village. This community engagement program will take place for two days, from September 21st to 22nd, 2023, in the Cemagi tourism village. The community engagement program consists of digital marketing training for 25 young individuals from the village, in two days training program. The community engagement with digital marketing training was needed as global development in tourism village. Contributing to the community through digital marketing is a crucial step in helping rural tourism villages thrive and compete in this digital age. By utilizing the right digital tools and involving local residents, tourism villages can harness the potential of a larger tourist influx, create local job opportunities, and promote their cultural heritage to the world. Therefore, digital marketing represents a highly valuable investment for the future of tourism villages. The result was community competence of Cemagi tourism village in digital marketing, especially in tourism industry product, such as guesthouse, tour packages, and UMKM’s product.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities is to carry out the socialization of the tourist village program, which was carried out by the Hospitality Management Study Program, Bali Tourism Polytechnic, on June 23, 2023. The implementation of community service activities is carried out through the delivery of material related to the socialization of government regulations on tourist villages, the scope and steps in managing tourist villages, including accommodation related to tourist villages, in an effort to identify the various strengths, weaknesses, obstacles and opportunities faced by Cemagi Tourism village. The Cemagi Tourism Village study involved 25 community members, accommodation business managers, village government, and village community organizations. The results found that Cemagi Tourism Village has the strengths of beautiful and unique natural resources and a calm atmosphere, weaknesses in the form of tourism facilities and products that characterize it, opportunities in the form of infrastructure development and promotion that support tourism growth and increase attractiveness for visitors, and threats in the form of competition with other tourist destinations in Bali that are close to each other, and environmental impacts due to the surge in visitors can damage the natural preservation of Cemagi village

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is an evaluation given by customers after making a purchase of a product or service resulting from a comparison of customer expectations with the performance of products and services purchased by customers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of e-service quality on customer satisfaction at The Why Resort Bali Hotel. The population in this study involved customers who had used the electronic services of The Why Resort Bali Hotel. The sample in this study amounted to 160 people selected using non-probability sampling technique. This study used primary data, which was obtained through distributing questionnaires to respondents. The analysis method used simple linear regression with SPSS version 23. The results of this study indicate that the e-service quality variable has a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction with a tcount> ttable value of 14.050> 1.975. E-service quality is positive with a beta value of 0.597 on Customer Satisfaction, so increasing e-service quality will increase Customer Satisfaction. E-service quality has a contribution to influence Customer Satisfaction of 55.5% in the moderate category, while the remaining 44.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
