Abstract

Wedrink, a rapidly expanding beverage brand originating from China, has gained popularity in Batam, Indonesia. In a highly competitive market, understanding consumer behavior is essential for maintaining business sustainability. This study aims to examine the influence of brand awareness, consumer perception, and product quality on purchase decisions of Wedrink products in Batam. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 384 respondents using accidental sampling. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26, incorporating validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity), and multiple linear regression analysis. The results reveal that brand awareness, consumer perception, and product quality each have a significant and positive impact on purchase decisions. The model demonstrates a strong explanatory power with an adjusted R² of 45.0%, while the F-test confirms the joint significance of the independent variables (p < 0.001). These findings highlight the importance of building brand familiarity, delivering consistent product quality, and aligning offerings with consumer expectations to strengthen purchasing behavior in the beverage industry.

Abstract

Salah satu penggunaan internet yang lazim saat ini dalam bisnis adalah penerapan e-commerce. E-commerce (perdagangan elektronik) terdiri dari pembelian dan penjualan produk atau jasa melalui sistem elektronik seperti internet dan jaringan komputer lainnya. Saat ini, Shopee menjadi marketplace e-commerce dengan pengunjung terbanyak di Indonesia. Metodologi yang dipilih adalah metodologi kuantitatif dengan tujuan utama menguji hipotesis yang ditetapkan sebelumnya menggunakan sampel dan populasi tertentu. Ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara variabel Pengalaman Belanja (X1) dan Kepuasan Pelanggan (Y), karena nilai t lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel (2,317 > 1,9719) dan nilai signifikansi adalah 0,022 < 0,05. Ulasan Pelanggan Online (X2) juga mempengaruhi Kepuasan Pelanggan (Y), karena nilai t lebih kecil dari nilai t-tabel (0,215 < 2,0395) dan nilai signifikansi adalah 0,830 > 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara variabel Delivery Service (X3) dan Customer Satisfaction (Y), karena t-value lebih besar dari nilai t-table (10,416 > 1,9719) dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Pengalaman berbelanja yang positif secara signifikan meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Ulasan pelanggan online berperan dalam membangun kepercayaan dan pengaruh, sehingga berdampak positif pada kepuasan pelanggan. Layanan pengiriman yang cepat dan andal juga merupakan faktor kunci dalam menentukan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

Kendala teknis yang dihadapi petani kacang hijau salah satunya yaitu serangan organisme pengganggu tanaman (OPT) baik berupa hama, penyakit, maupun gulma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inovasi, sasaran, cara pengambilan keputusan, saluran komunikasi, dan penyuluh pertanian pada pada penerapan pengendalian penyakit mosaik kuning kacang hijau pada petani kacang hijau. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai 10 Juni 2022 sampai 1 Agustus 2023 di Desa Bendungan, Kecamatan Kuwarasan, Kabupaten Kebumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang yang berasal dari Kelompok Tani Mekar Jaya I dan Mekar Jaya I. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penerapan pengendalian penyakit mosaik kuning kacang hijau pada aspek inovasi memiliki kategori sedang dengan persentase 64,07%, aspek sasaran memiliki kategori sedang dengan persentase 62,70%, aspek cara pengambilan keputusan memiliki kategori sedang dengan persentase 67,78%, aspek saluran komunikasi memiliki kategori sedang dengan persentase 66,67%, dan aspek penyuluh pertanian memiliki kategori tinggi dengan persentase 85,93%. Pemberdayaan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan perilaku petani dalam mengambil keputusan pengendalian penyakit mozaik kacang hijau. Penyuluhan yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap petani dalam mengendalikam penyakit mozaik kuning sebesar 39,45 dan 36,33 %.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of conflict and work stress on employee performance at PT XYZ in Batam City. The results indicate that work conflict does not significantly affect employee performance, as evidenced by a correlation coefficient of only 0.001. The t-test results show that H0 cannot be rejected with a t-value of -0.005 < t-table value of 2.042. On the other hand, work stress has a significant effect on employee performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.459, indicating a 21.06% impact of work stress on performance. However, when considered together, conflict and work stress have a significant combined effect on employee performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.647, accounting for 41.86% of the influence on performance. The remaining 58.14% is affected by factors not included in this study

Abstract

Corruption, Asset Misuse and Financial Statement Fraud are three types of fraud that often occur in financial and business contexts. The forerunner of opportunities to commit fraud is one of the reasons for the weakness of Internal Audit in a company. This study aims to find out how the perception of government bank employees in Batam City about the Internal Audit is carried out. The qualitative descriptive research method is by collecting data in the form of a questionnaire using indicators presented by The Institute of Internal Auditors. The collected data is then processed and interpreted and conclusions are drawn using the level of perception, namely: Negative if the average percentage of total component items ≤ 40%, and Positive if the average percentage of total component items > 40%. The results of the study showed: (1) The perception of Government bank employees (BUMN) for the indicators of Manage Internal Audit Activities, The Nature Of Work, Assignment Planning, Implementation Of Assignments, Communication Of Assignment Results, Monitoring Progress, Communication On Risk Acceptance showed positive results because the percentage of respondents who answered Agree and Strongly Agree > 40%.; (2) There is a perception of Government bank employees who show Negative by answering Disagree, namely for The Nature Of The Work indicator, statement item number 4, which is 1.3% and for statement indicator number 9 as much as 1.3% as well. However, this result is < 40% so it can be said that it is not significant indicating a negative result.

Abstract

This study set out to determine if hedonic values and utilitarian values both had an effect on consumer satisfaction. 3) To examine the relationship between hedonic and utilitarian values and consumer happiness. 4) To determine how utilitarian and hedonistic values affect consumer satisfaction. The quantitative descriptive techniques used in this investigation. the procedure of collecting data via a questionnaire. The population of the research consisted of clients of PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret) in Batam. The Slovin formula sampling method was used to choose up to 423 respondents. The research's conclusions are as follows: With a significance threshold of less than 0.05, the t test variable utilitarian value (X1) on customer happiness (Y) provided a value of 5.905 that was higher than the t table (5.905 > 1.9719). (0 . 000 0.05). The value of t arithmetic, which is more than t table (136.479 > 1.9719), is 136.479 in the hedonic variable value (X2) to Repurchase Intention with a significance of less than 0.05 (0.000 0.05). (Y). the multiple linear regression formula, Y = (-1.351) + 0.413 (X1) + 0.674 (X2) + e The study's findings suggest that hedonic and utilitarian value determinants have an impact on PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret) consumers in Batam.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), competence, and motivation on the performance of employees in property companies in Batam City. It also seeks to measure the extent of the influence of these variables through regression analysis, as well as the outcomes of t-tests and f-tests. The study originated from a survey that highlighted various complaints regarding OCB, competence, and motivation within these companies, prompting the researchers to investigate the issue further. The methodology involved conducting a survey and distributing questionnaires to 10 property companies in Batam City, deemed representative for the study. A total of 125 respondents were sampled, and several tests were conducted, including validity, reliability, regression, normality, t-test, and f-test. The validity test results indicated that all variables and statements were valid, while the reliability test confirmed the reliability of all statements. The analysis concluded that OCB, competence, and motivation significantly affect employee performance. Both the t-test and f-test results also demonstrated a significant impact on employee performance. The R-squared test results revealed that 81% of the variance in employee performance could be explained by the independent variables.

By leveraging AI technologies, student entrepreneurs can efficiently generate, manage, and optimize promotional content, significantly improving engagement and reach. Abstract

This study employs a quantitative research approach to investigate the factors influencing decision-making at Pondok Pesantren Islamic Centre Nahdlatul Wathan. Quantitative research utilizes structured tools such as surveys to gather numerical data, focusing on quantifying relationships and behaviors and employing statistical techniques to test hypotheses. Conducted during the 2023/2024 academic year, the research involved 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling, comprising 22 vocational school students and community members surrounding the boarding school in Tanjung Riau, Batam. Data were collected using an online questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS 21 for multiple linear regression to explore the impact of independent variables (Price, Location, Promotion) on the decision to choose the boarding school. Findings reveal that Price significantly affects decision-making (regression coefficient B = 0.299, t-value = 3.222), indicating that higher prices increase the likelihood of choosing the boarding school. Location also has a substantial impact (B = 0.657, t-value = 6.793), suggesting that a strategic location enhances the probability of selection. Promotion shows a significant effect (B = 0.306, t-value = 4.739), albeit slightly weaker than Location. Overall, the multiple linear regression analysis demonstrates the model's significance (F-value = 17.183), implying that Price, Location, and Promotion collectively influence the decision to choose a boarding school. These insights are crucial for educational institutions aiming to understand key decision-making factors.

Abstract

In the current era of the Information Society, competition in any business industry is increasingly fierce. However, the lack of skilled workers is a major obstacle in increasing company production. Human Resources problems are still not enough to overcome complex problems. In the current era of modern globalization, competitive advantage is largely determined by the formation of Human Capital. The inadequate level of knowledge from theoretical and practical aspects of Human Capital Management in increasing sustainable production determines the objectives of this research and problem formulation so that solutions can be found, because the attention of developed and developing countries is currently more focused on developing Human Capital which is one of the company's solutions in Human Resources development which tends to have a significant impact on performance. This research examines Human Capital's direct impact on employee performance and becomes a new production factor in the Indonesian Life Insurance industry. The results of this research are to justify and develop that human capital management including TASK (Talent, Attitude, Skill, Knowledge) through continuous training with studies in the Indonesian Life Insurance Industry sector is a production factor that can also improve employee and company performance.
