Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology demands mastery of educational content creation skills for Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) students in the Industry 4.0 era. Initial observations at MA Salafiyah Simbangkulon indicated limitations among students in this regard. This community service activity aimed to enhance students' understanding and practical skills in using Canva and CapCut applications to create engaging and innovative educational content. This activity was implemented through a workshop using presentation, practicum, and discussion methods, involving 40 grade 10 students of MA Salafiyah Simbangkulon. The success of the activity was measured by comparing pre-test and post-test results. The results showed a significant improvement in students' conceptual understanding and practical skills in Canva and CapCut. This was evidenced by an average score increase of 68% on the post-test compared to the pre-test. Furthermore, students successfully created sample educational content using both applications. Based on these results, it is recommended that advanced training and integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) utilization in the madrasah curriculum are needed to support a more creative, participatory, and relevant learning process in line with contemporary demands.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of edupreneurship values in the development and management of the English language course institution, English Center Vocation Kajen. As a pioneering course in Pekalongan Regency, English Center Vocation Kajen integrates entrepreneurial principles with educational values to expand community access to English language skills. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving the institution’s leadership and instructors. The results indicate that the implementation of edupreneurship values includes institutional independence, innovation in learning services, social responsibility, and business sustainability. English Center Vocation Kajen manages its operations independently without government assistance, maintaining transparent financial management and adaptive marketing strategies through social media and community-based promotion. The principle of edupreneurship is reflected in human resource management that emphasizes professionalism, creativity, and humanistic service toward learners. Beyond profit orientation, the institution prioritizes social benefits through cross-subsidy policies, free training programs, and partnerships with schools to support equitable learning opportunities. Therefore, the implementation of edupreneurship values at English Center Vocation Kajen demonstrates an effective and sustainable model of non-formal educational management with a strong social spirit, which can serve as a replicable example for other educational institutions seeking to empower communities through education.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan platform digital telah membuka peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), khususnya di sektor fashion seperti bisnis daster. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi adaptasi yang diterapkan oleh pelaku UMKM daster dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar online. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan wawancara mendalam terhadap satu pelaku usaha aktif, penelitian ini mengungkapan bahwa adaptasi digital dilakukan melalui pembelajaran otodidak, pemanfaatan live streaming dan konten kreatif di TikTok dan Shopee, strategi penetapan harga, serta respons terhadap tren pasar. Tantangan utama meliputi fluktuasi permintaan, keterlambatan pencairan dana, biaya operasional digital yang tinggi, serta risiko reputasi akibat ulasan negatif dan retur. Faktor keberhasilan utama mencakup kemampuan belajar secara mandiri, manajemen pelanggan dan layanan responsif, ketahanan mental dan motivasi tinggi, strategi promosi dan pengelolaan modal, serta jaringan dan kolaborasi. Strategi ABSTRACT The development of digital platforms has opened up opportunities and challenges for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), especially in the fashion sector such as the daster business. This study aims to examine the adaptation strategies implemented by daster MSME players in facing the dynamics of the online market. Using a qualitative approach with case study methods and in-depth interviews with one active business player, this study reveals that digital adaptation is carried out through self-taught learning, the use of live streaming and creative content on TikTok and Shopee, pricing strategies, and responses to market trends. The main challenges include fluctuations in demand, delays in fund disbursement, high digital operational costs, and reputational risks due to negative reviews and returns. The main success factors include the ability to learn independently, customer management and responsive service, mental resilience and high motivation, promotion strategies and capital management, as well as networking and collaboration. These findings provide practical insights for MSME in designing sustainable digital marketing strategies amid intense competition and platform algorithm changes.
