Abstract

State administrative law has an important role to create a good and orderly system of government. It is hoped that state administrative law wiil function to expedite the task of administering the state and provide legal guarantees to citizens and protect all people. This is also in line with the objektives of maslahah mursalah, so that the implementation of state administrative law can be integrated with exploring the values of maslahah mursalah. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of islamic law (maslahah mursalah) in the implementation of state administrative law. The benefit of this research is to find out how far maslahah mursalah is applied to state administrative law. This study uses the usul fiqh approach as an epistemological basis in the application of state administrative law. This research is a qualitative reseach with descriptive analysis and library reseach. The results of this study are to find a common goal between state administrative law and maslahah mursalah, and the effectiveness of implementing state administrative law besed on maslahah mursalah values.

Abstract

In 2022, Saudi Arabia introduced the Personal Status Law (PSL) as part of its Vision 2030 reforms, promoting it as a milestone for women’s rights, particularly in marriage, divorce, and custody. However, critical analysis suggests that the PSL maintains deeply entrenched patriarchal norms legitimized through conservative interpretations of Islamic jurisprudence. Despite claims of progress, the law’s ambiguous language and retention of male guardianship structures raise concerns about its substantive impact on gender equality. This study aims to critically examine the PSL not merely as a legal document but as a political and cultural instrument reinforcing hierarchical gender relations. Employing a qualitative approach grounded in feminist legal theory and socio-legal analysis, this research applies documentary analysis to the PSL text, ministerial decrees, human rights reports, and academic literature. Thematic content analysis is used to uncover discursive patterns that normalize gender bias. Findings reveal that the PSL functions as a strategic, symbolic reform rather than a transformative legal change. While it introduces limited rights—such as minimum marriage age and partial custody protections—it perpetuates male authority through legal ambiguity and judicial discretion. This study contributes to scholarly discourse by situating the PSL within broader frameworks of authoritarian governance and cultural patriarchy. It highlights the limits of legal empowerment when reforms are disconnected from societal transformation and grassroots engagement, offering insights into how state-led modernization can simultaneously promote and constrain women’s rights.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti peran krusial keterampilan motorik bagi calon guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode pembelajaran berbasis permainan (game-based learning) dalam pengembangan keterampilan motorik siswa. Dengan pendekatan eksperimen dan desain pre-test serta post-test, penelitian ini berhasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan motorik siswa setelah penerapan metode tersebut, terbukti dari hasil tes yang lebih baik. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi potensi besar pembelajaran berbasis permainan dalam memaksimalkan pengembangan keterampilan motorik siswa. Penelitian merekomendasikan integrasi metode ini secara lebih luas dalam kurikulum pendidikan PJOK untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengajaran. Pendekatan inovatif ini diharapkan dapat memajukan pendidikan PJOK dan mempersiapkan calon guru yang lebih kompeten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi potensi Karapan Pesapean, permainan tradisional Madura, sebagai media inovatif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE, penelitian ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan Karapan Pesapean, tidak hanya untuk melestarikan budaya lokal tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21. Implementasi pada siswa kelas IV di Sumenep menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dalam peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, antusiasme belajar, serta kolaborasi dan komunikasi. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya mengintegrasikan permainan tradisional dalam pendidikan modern, menawarkan manfaat ganda berupa peningkatan keterampilan siswa dan pelestarian budaya lokal. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan landasan bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut sebagai inovasi pendidikan berbasis budaya lokal yang kontekstual dan relevan dalam pembelajaran PJOK.

Abstract

Pengembangan keterampilan motorik merupakan aspek fundamental dalam pendidikan jasmani, olahraga, dan kesehatan (PJOK), khususnya bagi calon guru yang akan menjadi fasilitator pembelajaran aktif dan sehat di sekolah. Namun, model pembelajaran outbound yang terintegrasi dalam mata kuliah PJOK masih terbatas, sehingga diperlukan analisis kebutuhan untuk merancang model yang relevan dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan model outbound dalam mata kuliah PJOK guna meningkatkan keterampilan motorik calon guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kebutuhan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi pada mahasiswa PJOK di salah satu universitas di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa membutuhkan model outbound yang variatif, kontekstual, dan mampu mengintegrasikan aktivitas fisik dengan pengembangan keterampilan motorik, seperti koordinasi, kelincahan, dan keseimbangan. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa outbound berbasis pengalaman langsung dapat meningkatkan motivasi, kepercayaan diri, serta kesiapan mahasiswa dalam mengelola pembelajaran PJOK di sekolah. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah perlunya pengembangan model outbound yang adaptif dan aplikatif dalam kurikulum PJOK, sehingga dapat mendukung peningkatan kompetensi motorik dan profesionalisme calon guru.

Abstract

This research will examine the Western world's metanarrative regarding the issue of terrorism and its impact on the Eastern world, especially the Middle East region. Terrorism is a complex issue and often becomes absurd when used as a political narrative by the ruling elites of the Western world. The West often enters the arena of war in the Middle East and carries out proxy wars against other opposing powers. The West, especially the US, often blurs the facts about who the perpetrators and victims of terrorism are. This research uses qualitative research methods to describe the phenomenon and discourse of terrorism developing in the Middle East. This research uses Pierre Boudieu's theory of genetic structuralism as an analytical tool. From this research, it was found that there was injustice in the West, especially the US, in using the narrative of terrorism. The US also uses violent methods to carry out counter-terrorism, which only gives rise to new terrorists emerging

Abstract

The mamaca tradition represents a unique form of Madurese oral literature, embodying both Islamic values and local cultural wisdom. Despite its richness, scholarly studies have paid limited attention to the typology of its verse songs (tembang) and the narrative structures embedded within the performances, leaving a gap in understanding its literary and cultural significance. This study aims to analyze the typological characteristics of tembang and to uncover the narrative frameworks that structure mamaca as both a performance and a cultural text. Using a qualitative-descriptive method with an oral literature approach, the research was conducted in Bandaran Village, Pamekasan Regency. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with local performers, and textual analysis of mamaca manuscripts. The findings reveal six principal tembang—Artate, Kasmaran, Durma, Salangit, Pangkur, and Sinom—each marked by distinctive thematic content and narrative patterns. These tembang not only articulate aesthetic expression but also encapsulate moral and religious teachings, conveyed through symbolic language and dialogic performance. The narrative structures highlight oppositional and complementary patterns that sustain both entertainment and didactic purposes. This study contributes to the field of oral literature by demonstrating how mamaca operates as an adaptive and transgenerational medium of cultural preservation, character education, and spiritual transmission. It underscores the importance of examining local oral traditions as dynamic systems of meaning that continue to shape communal identity in Madura.

Abstract

The Qur’an was revealed in the Arabian Peninsula using the Arabic language; therefore, learning Arabic is essential to read, understand, and apply its teachings effectively. This study explores the use of the Ummi Method in Qur’anic learning at Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Falah Bestari, Malaysia. The Ummi Method is a structured approach to reading the Qur’an that emphasizes tartil (measured recitation) based on tajwid principles and adopts a mother-tongue approach rooted in affection and empathy. It employs a combination of classical read-listen activities and a quality assurance system involving tashih (correction), tahsin (refinement), and teacher certification. The study focuses on three key quality aspects: qualified methodology, competent teachers, and a reliable system. Using a participatory observation method, the researcher directly engaged in classroom learning within a short research period. The findings revealed that many students initially struggled with correct recitation and memorization despite recognizing Arabic letters. However, after applying the Ummi Method, there was a noticeable improvement in their reading accuracy, fluency, and memorization of short surahs. This research contributes to strengthening Qur’anic pedagogy by demonstrating that the Ummi Method effectively enhances students’ motivation, comprehension, and spiritual connection through a systematic, affectionate, and quality-based learning framework

Abstract

This research highlights the role of characters and non-digital media in English language learning in secondary schools, focusing on case study trends over the last decade (2014-2024). This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of textbooks, printed materials, and direct interaction between teachers and students in the context of English learning. The methodology used is a systematic literature review using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method, where the selected literature comes from Scopus-indexed journals. The literature selection process involved strict inclusion criteria, including research involving students and teachers from various backgrounds and regions. The research results show that non-digital media such as textbooks and physical teaching aids still have an important role in learning, with a significant contribution in increasing student engagement and understanding. In addition, the characteristics of a dedicated teacher and a personal approach have been proven to have a strong correlation with learning success. However, the research also revealed shortcomings in the existing literature, such as a lack of focus on holistic integration between digital and non-digital media. This includes the absence of a balanced learning strategy that utilizes the advantages of both types of media. This research recommends the development of balanced and holistic learning strategies that can maximize student learning outcomes through the optimal use of both types of media. In addition, further research is needed to explore ways of more effective integration between digital and non-digital media in English language learning contexts. These findings can be a basis for developing more innovative and effective curricula and teaching methods in the future.

Abstract

The covid pandemic is one of the important impacts in learning, because learning during the covid pandemic by online. Over time, this period underwent a gradual transition. This transition is called the post-pandemic. At that time, the learning process in the classroom is offline. Thus, this study aims to describe the efforts and strategies carried out by classroom teachers in improving teacher skills in classroom management after the COVID-19 pandemic at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Sumenep Regency. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative with interview technique. While the data obtained in the form of sentences and paragraphs from the interviews. The result of this study is strategy to improve the ability of teachers and create a more optimal teaching and learning process after the covid-19 pandemic. The research on classroom management after the COVID-19 pandemic in integrated Islamic elementary schools can be an illustration and example for teachers to be applied in the school.
