Abstract

Budidaya rumput laut di Kepulauan Sapeken Kabupaten Sumenep sangat potensial untu dilakukan, namun pada kenyataannya para nelayan/petani masih mengalami banyak kendala, sehingga aktivitas tersebut belum memiliki kontribusi bagi peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tim telah melakukan kegiatan pengabdian di Kepulauan Sapeken Kabupaten Sumenep, sehingga artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pendampingan masyarakat dalam budidaya rumput laut di daerah tersebut. Subjek dalam pengabdian adalah 2 kelompok tani rumput laut (masing-masing terdiri atas 10 orang pembudidaya).  Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama delapan bulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah survey, demonstrasi, dan praktek langusng, dan evaluasi. Keterlaksanaan atau keberhasilan pengabdian didasarkan pada terpenuhinya indikator-indikator proses pengabdian dan produk yang dihasilkan dalam pengabdian, Kegiatan pengabdian dievaluasi dalam hal proses dan akhir kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian dianggap telah berhasil bila persentase keterlibatan dan keaktifan masyarakat mencapai ≥75%, masyarakat mampu melakukan budidaya. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mitra sangat antusias terlibat, 100% terlibat dalam budidaya, da nada peningkatan produksi budidaya rumput laut. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengabdian masyarakat telah diimplementasikan sesuai dengan rencana.

Abstract

The school library, which should continue to develop in order to improve services to students or school residents, raises a reality that is not as it should be. There is still a library that operates as it is, far from being worthy of being the heart of a school. There needs to be improvement and development as an effort to create a generation who likes reading. The school library in the high school environment (SMA) is still inadequate if it is seen as a proper school library. The difference in viewpoints regarding libraries for policy makers at the internal level becomes an obstacle in realizing school libraries in developing better libraries. The purpose of this research is to try to see the reality and ideals that take place in the process of library management at the high school level in Sumenep district. The method used in this study includes the use of a qualitative approach used to see a series of conditions in the school library at the high school level and the equivalent. The available sampling method was chosen by the researcher to facilitate the retrieval of information in this study. This method provides space for informants and researchers to create openness and availability of research subjects in the process of extracting more in-depth information. It can be concluded from the results of this study that the implementation of policies that have different perspectives on libraries for policy makers at the internal level is an obstacle in realizing school libraries in developing better libraries. There are also school library staff who show that it is not proportional to the number of study groups in a school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan kerangka pembelajaran permainan eksperiensial untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar melalui permainan serius dalam pendidikan jasmani. Metodologi penelitian tindakan kelas digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi pengalaman belajar berbasis permainan, dengan fokus pada kegiatan kolaboratif yang mendorong komunikasi, kerja sama tim, dan empati. Skenario pembelajaran dirancang agar siswa berinteraksi dengan teman sebaya dalam memecahkan tantangan, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif untuk interaksi sosial dan pengembangan keterampilan interpersonal. Penelitian ini menawarkan wawasan dan alat praktis bagi pendidik untuk menerapkan permainan serius secara efektif dalam kurikulum, mendukung perkembangan holistik anak-anak dengan menggabungkan aktivitas fisik dan peningkatan keterampilan sosial. Melalui siklus perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi, dampak permainan ini terhadap kemampuan sosial siswa dievaluasi, menghasilkan rekomendasi berbasis bukti untuk praktik terbaik di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk berkontribusi pada peningkatan pembelajaran interaktif dan mengembangkan keterampilan sosial yang penting bagi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pesan moral dalam kumpulan puisi "Sagara Aeng Mata Ojan" karya Lukman Hakim AG. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam puisi. Data primer diperoleh dari kumpulan puisi, sementara data sekunder berasal dari berbagai referensi pendukung. Analisis difokuskan pada tiga aspek moral utama: hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, dan hubungan manusia dengan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puisi-puisi Lukman Hakim AG kaya akan pesan moral yang mendalam. Dalam hubungannya dengan Tuhan, puisi-puisi tersebut mencerminkan kesadaran spiritual dan ketaatan. Pada aspek hubungan dengan diri sendiri, puisi mengajak pembaca untuk melakukan introspeksi dan pengembangan diri. Sementara dalam konteks hubungan sosial, karya-karyanya menekankan pentingnya interaksi harmonis dengan lingkungan dan sesama. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa kumpulan puisi "Sagara Aeng Mata Ojan" berhasil menyampaikan pesan moral yang kompleks dan inspiratif. Melalui penggunaan metafora dan simbolisme yang kuat, Lukman Hakim AG mengajak pembaca untuk merenungkan nilai-nilai kebaikan dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This research tries to see and analyze how the democratization project - as a symbol of the universalism of Western civilization - has become a dogmatic political tool that has been instigated by the United States (US) in several countries in the Arab world. This research will also look critically at how the US democratization project in the Arab world becomes a barometer to test the absolutism of the discourse of Western universalism. This research uses qualitative research and is descriptive analytical in nature. In exploring the academic problems, this research uses the epistemological approach of Karl Raimund Popper's Falsificationism, as a step to test the resilience of the narrative of Western universalism from the falsification stage. The results of this research indicate that the US track record in fighting for the Arab nation's democratic rights is only an illusion. Democratic idealism was sacrificed on the basis of the US political economy profit calculation. This can be seen from the US track record in sustaining the oligarchic power of Arab rulers who tend to be authoritarian, such as Shah Pahlavi in ​​Iran, Hosni Mubarok in Egypt, Ben Ali in Tunisia, and Attaturk in Turkey. The US siding with Arab countries is also not based on the democratic government system adopted by the Arab countries. This can be seen from the US siding with Saudi Arabia and the UEA which adheres to a monarchy system on the one hand, and hostility towards Libya, Yemen, and Syria, on the other. This US attitude shows the collapse of the universalism of Western civilization, which has sacrificed democracy on a pragmatic political stage.

Abstract

This research highlights the role of characters and non-digital media in English language learning in secondary schools, focusing on case study trends over the last decade (2014-2024). This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of textbooks, printed materials, and direct interaction between teachers and students in the context of English learning. The methodology used is a systematic literature review using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method, where the selected literature comes from Scopus-indexed journals. The literature selection process involved strict inclusion criteria, including research involving students and teachers from various backgrounds and regions. The research results show that non-digital media such as textbooks and physical teaching aids still have an important role in learning, with a significant contribution in increasing student engagement and understanding. In addition, the characteristics of a dedicated teacher and a personal approach have been proven to have a strong correlation with learning success. However, the research also revealed shortcomings in the existing literature, such as a lack of focus on holistic integration between digital and non-digital media. This includes the absence of a balanced learning strategy that utilizes the advantages of both types of media. This research recommends the development of balanced and holistic learning strategies that can maximize student learning outcomes through the optimal use of both types of media. In addition, further research is needed to explore ways of more effective integration between digital and non-digital media in English language learning contexts. These findings can be a basis for developing more innovative and effective curricula and teaching methods in the future.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan jasmani, keterampilan motorik menjadi elemen kunci yang harus dikuasai oleh calon guru PJOK. Namun, instrumen evaluasi yang menitikberatkan pada keterampilan motorik melalui kegiatan outbound masih sangat terbatas dan memerlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi keterampilan motorik yang terfokus untuk calon guru PJOK di STKIP PGRI Sumenep, khususnya dalam mata kuliah outbound. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pengembangan instrumen dengan kombinasi pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mixed method). Validasi instrumen dilakukan melalui penilaian pakar (expert judgment) dan uji coba pada 30 calon guru PJOK, dengan analisis data yang melibatkan uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas yang tinggi. Melalui kegiatan outbound, keterampilan motorik seperti keseimbangan, koordinasi, dan kekuatan motorik dapat diukur secara efektif. Kesimpulannya, instrumen ini dapat digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi yang andal untuk menilai keterampilan motorik calon guru PJOK. Selain itu, instrumen ini mendukung inovasi pembelajaran berbasis outbound dalam mata kuliah PJOK, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan pengajaran.

Abstract

Kegiatan outbound merupakan salah satu metode inovatif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi calon guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK), khususnya dalam aspek keterampilan motorik, kerja sama, dan kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis landscape kompetensi 100 calon guru PJOK di STKIP PGRI Sumenep melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan outbound di Bumi Perkemahan Bedengan, Batu. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam kondisi lingkungan yang dinamis, termasuk hujan yang menambah tantangan fisik dan mental peserta. Outbound ini dirancang menggunakan permainan berbasis budaya lokal, yaitu "Karapan Pasapean Challenge," untuk mengintegrasikan nilai budaya dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan evaluasi langsung terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan outbound secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan motorik, komunikasi efektif, dan kemampuan kerja sama peserta. Selain itu, integrasi elemen budaya lokal memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kebutuhan calon guru, serta mendorong kreativitas mereka dalam mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis permainan tradisional. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kegiatan outbound berbasis budaya sebagai bagian integral dari kurikulum untuk membekali calon guru PJOK dengan kompetensi yang holistik, relevan, dan berbasis nilai-nilai lokal. Implementasi kegiatan serupa diharapkan dapat memperkuat karakter dan keterampilan guru masa depan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan generasi Z

Abstract

This study tries to examine the ideology of White Supremacy in the West and its impact on geopolitical stability in several Eastern countries. White Supremacy is an ideology that views the white group as superior to the colored group. This ideology is full of nuances of racism with violent discourse that discredits other groups. Collecting data in this study using literature study. This study aims to examine the process of domination of the West over the East which is full of racism, and the double standard attitude of the West in responding to conflicts in a country. The results of this study show that White Supremacy causes the values of moderation – which are the biological children of democracy – to experience a crisis and do not appear in many Western political policies towards the East. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, for example, is a concrete example where the West does not sanction Israel, unlike the West did to Russia in the war in Ukraine. This is because Israel and Ukraine are countries that are close to the West, where the right-extreme-radical view is not only widely embraced by the public but also by politicians and government elites.

Abstract

This study examines how the implementation of the Principles of Good Governance (AAUPB) is crucial in addressing conflicts in Rempang Eco City. The conflict significantly impacts the central government's efforts to transform Pulau Rempang and its surroundings into a hub for trade, industry, and tourism, involving various stakeholders working on the environmental project. Consequently, to resolve the conflict on Pulau Rempang, it is crucial to incorporate the principles of good governance. The goal of applying these principles is to enhance transparency and accountability in governance. They will also aid in conflict resolution and encourage active participation of the community in project decision-making. This research also analyzes the case in Pulau Rempang to illustrate the challenges and prospects of implementing good governance principles in the context of environmental conflict. The research findings indicate that applying these principles can lead to more sustainable solutions beneficial to all parties involved in the Rempang Eco City conflict. Conversely, this study helps us understand the importance of implementing good governance principles in addressing similar environmental conflicts.
