Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media KOKOSIS (Kotak Ekosistem) terhadap pemahaman konsep pembelajaran IPA di SDN Kertasari 03. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe eksperimen. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Kertasari 03 yang berjumlah 25 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode tes berupa pretest dan posttest untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa, dengan menggunakan tes soal pilihan ganda. Hasil uji hipotesis perhitungan uji t yaitu uji beda sampel berpasangan diperoleh tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,05 yang berarti nilai probabilitas (signifikansi) sebesar 0,000, karena nilai signifikansi 0,000 < alpha = 0,05 maka H? ditolak. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media KOKOSIS (Kotak Ekosistem) berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep pembelajaran IPA kelas V materi ekosistem di SDN Kertasari 03.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the Community Service Program (KKN) on students’ mental well-being. A descriptive qualitative method was applied using observation and questionnaires administered to 23 student participants in Mekarbuana Village. The findings reveal significant changes in students’ emotional and psychological aspects, where initial feelings of worry, anxiety, and nervousness shifted to confidence, enthusiasm, and motivation after participation. A total of 100% of respondents reported changes in their mindset, and 95.65% stated that they had specific experiences that affected their emotions, either positively or stressfully. Furthermore, active involvement in project implementation, positive social interactions both within the group and with the community, and demonstrated leadership strengthened students’ adaptability and resilience. These results highlight that KKN contributes not only to community engagement but also to enhancing mental well-being, character building, and social awareness among students. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) terhadap kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui pengamatan dan kuesioner kepada 23 mahasiswa peserta KKN di Desa Mekarbuana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan signifikan dalam aspek emosi dan psikologis mahasiswa, di mana perasaan khawatir, cemas, dan gugup sebelum kegiatan bergeser menjadi lebih percaya diri, antusias, dan bersemangat setelah kegiatan. Sebanyak 100% responden melaporkan adanya perubahan pola pikir dan 95,65% menyatakan pengalaman tertentu yang memengaruhi perasaan mereka, baik positif maupun penuh tekanan. Selain itu, keterlibatan dalam program kerja, interaksi sosial antaranggota maupun dengan masyarakat, serta sikap kepemimpinan yang ditunjukkan memperkuat peran mahasiswa sebagai individu yang adaptif dan resilien. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa KKN berkontribusi bukan hanya pada pengabdian masyarakat, tetapi juga pada penguatan mental, pembentukan karakter, dan peningkatan kesadaran sosial mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the English proficiency of non-English majors at a private university in Karawang using EnglishScore, an app-based assessment aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The study employs a descriptive design combining quantitative data (descriptive statistics) with qualitative data (brief thematic analysis). Data were collected from N = 332 students through the EnglishScore app, which assessed reading, listening, grammar, and vocabulary, together with a short demographic questionnaire and brief follow-up interviews. Results indicated that 75.6% of students were at the A1 to A2 levels, with fewer reaching B1 or higher. In this study, the term “gaps” refers to the proportion of students performing below the expected proficiency for each assessed area; the largest gaps were observed in vocabulary (51.0%) and listening (29.3%). Grammar (22.3%) also required improvement, whereas reading (19.7%) showed the smallest gap. In the context of the studied program, these findings suggest the need to adapt the curriculum by prioritizing contextual vocabulary development, graded listening comprehension training, and explicit grammar instruction, alongside structured academic reading strategies, in English for General Purposes (EGP) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti kemahiran bahasa Inggris mahasiswa dari program studi non-bahasa Inggris di sebuah universitas swasta di Karawang dengan menggunakan EnglishScore, asesmen berbasis aplikasi yang selaras dengan Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif yang memadukan data kuantitatif (statistik deskriptif) dan data kualitatif (analisis tematik singkat). Data dikumpulkan dari N = 332 mahasiswa melalui aplikasi EnglishScore, yang menilai aspek membaca, menyimak, tata bahasa, dan kosakata, disertai kuesioner demografis singkat serta wawancara tindak lanjut singkat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 75,6% mahasiswa berada pada level A1 sampai A2, dengan proporsi yang lebih kecil mencapai B1 atau lebih tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini, istilah “kesenjangan” merujuk pada proporsi mahasiswa yang berada di bawah tingkat kemahiran yang diharapkan untuk setiap aspek yang diukur; kesenjangan terbesar ditemukan pada kosakata (51,0%) dan menyimak (29,3%). Aspek tata bahasa (22,3%) juga memerlukan perbaikan, sedangkan membaca (19,7%) menunjukkan kesenjangan paling kecil. Dalam konteks program yang diteliti, temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya adaptasi kurikulum dengan memprioritaskan pengembangan kosakata kontekstual, pelatihan pemahaman menyimak bertingkat, dan pengajaran tata bahasa secara eksplisit, di samping strategi membaca akademik yang terstruktur, dalam mata kuliah English for General Purposes (EGP) dan English for Specific Purposes (ESP).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui Analisis Kesulitan Membaca Permulaan pada Siswa Kelas I Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sukamakmur III di Dusun Tegalluhur, Sukamakmur, Kecamatan Telukjambe timur, Kabupaten Karawang. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli-September 2022. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SDN Sukamakmur III dengan jumlah 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi serta tringulasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari rekdusi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan membaca permulaan berada pada titik keseuaian persentase yaitu , sehingga dapat dikatakan kurang, hasil persentase kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I yang diperoleh yaitu 33%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of the family environment on the assessment of Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes in Class X Hospitality Students of State Vocational High School 2 Karawang. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive research. The object of this study is Class X Hospitality Students of State Vocational High School 2 Karawang. The population in this study was 70 students. Regarding data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Based on the data analysis that has been done, it is known that the family environment influences learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education learning in Class X Hospitality Students of State Vocational High School 2 Karawang. It is known that the results of the hypothesis test with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 means that variable X influences variable Y. The calculated t value of 8.725> t table 1.995, meaning that the family environment variable (X) influences the learning outcome variable (Y). The level of relationship between the family environment and the assessment of student learning outcomes in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education in Class X Hospitality Students of State Vocational High School 2 Karawang is in the low category.

Abstract

Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum requires elementary school teachers to develop comprehensive teaching modules independently; however, many teachers encounter substantial difficulties in meeting this demand. This study aims to analyze the difficulties elementary school teachers face in developing teaching modules for implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with six classroom teachers to explore their understanding, experiences, and actual obstacles in the module development process. The findings reveal that teachers experience difficulties in understanding the structure and components of teaching modules, formulating learning objectives aligned with Learning Outcomes and the Learning Objective Flow, designing student-centered learning activities, and developing authentic assessments. High administrative workloads, limited time, insufficient training, low digital literacy, and limited institutional support further exacerbate these challenges. The study concludes that strengthening teacher capacity, providing continuous professional development, and enhancing institutional support are essential to ensure that teaching modules effectively support learning in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum.
