Abstract

The Interactive Learning Program in Character Building for Students should focus on increasing student engagement, equalizing the quality of teaching, developing social and emotional skills, enforcing positive discipline, and increasing parent and community participation. This activity method, namely using interactive, has proven to be effective in building student character because it is able to create a fun and meaningful learning atmosphere. By providing relevant experiences and touching the emotional aspects of students, this program helps them understand the importance of values ​​such as honesty, discipline, and tolerance in everyday life. The results of this community service show that the Interactive Learning Program in Character Building for students of Elementary School 3 Katobengke has succeeded in increasing the understanding and application of character values ​​among students. Through activities involving collaboration, simulation, and reflection, students not only understand character concepts such as responsibility, cooperation, and honesty, but also apply them in everyday life. The evaluation conducted showed positive changes in students' attitudes, both at school and at home, as well as an increase in their motivation to continue developing good character. This program has proven to be effective in shaping students' character comprehensively and sustainably.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the competitiveness of breadfruit chips products in Wabula 1 Village, Buton Regency, through branding strategies and creative packaging aimed at reaching the millennial generation market. The method used consists of three main stages: first, training and workshops to provide an understanding of the importance of branding, attractive packaging design, and the use of digital marketing; second, assistance in implementing the branding and packaging design strategies that have been learned, as well as the use of social media for promotion; third, product evaluation and promotion through market trials and various marketing channels, such as social media, local bazaars, and online marketplaces. The results of this activity showed that the training participants were very enthusiastic and gained new insights that were relevant to current market needs. Business actors are now better prepared to face market challenges, take advantage of digital opportunities, and introduce breadfruit chips products as quality local products. With this assistance and training, it is hoped that the breadfruit chips business can grow more rapidly and be known more widely, both in the local market and the larger market.

Abstract

Margaluyu Village, Banten faces several social and economic problems, including students dropping out of school due to the loss of their parents' livelihoods, motivation to go to school, and students having difficulty finding work after graduating. To overcome these challenges, entrepreneurship training based on economic security is needed, with the aim of creating economic independence for students and the local community. This village has great agricultural and plantation potential, but marketing of agricultural products is limited due to dependence on middlemen. Through a business incubation program, students are expected to develop skills in optimally utilizing agricultural products, managing businesses, and selling products using social media such as Instagram and TikTok. SMA Ibnu Sina was chosen as a model school for this program, with a focus on entrepreneurship education which is expected to equip students with practical skills and build an entrepreneurial spirit. This program also involves students as part of the MBKM program, which aims to strengthen academic relationships with the community and increase sensitivity to local problems. The main objective of this service is to help SMA Ibnu Sina students in Margaluyu Village develop the local economy and create new business opportunities, as well as support increasing students' economic independence through sustainable entrepreneurship practices.

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to help MSMEs to prepare financial reports, which are needed to apply for bank financing for capital acquisition and business development. And be able to understand good governance in MSMEs. As an effort to strengthen the participation of good MSME governance to empower individuals, groups and communities in the field of family welfare, especially in efforts to increase income and shared welfare. So that it can improve corporate governance in MSMEs through understanding and implementing the SIAPIK program to prepare financial reports. The methods used in implementing community service are counseling, training and mentoring through presentations of materials delivered by the community service team. The main topics of community service include training on cooperative governance. Then a discussion was held with participants guided by a moderator through face-to-face meetings. Feedback was carried out with a questionnaire filled out by all members of PMKM Prima Indonesia who participated in community service activities. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of community service both during face-to-face meetings and through questionnaires showed that community service participants expressed satisfaction with this activity, and the purpose of community service was achieved where participants felt they had received benefits in the form of increased knowledge, understanding of MSME governance.

Abstract

The school environment is a contributing factor to more than one-third (39.7%) of injuries that occur in schools. When an injury occurs, Physical Education (PE) teachers are the first individuals to provide assistance. This devotion aims to provide sports massage training for PE teachers so that they can manage the risk of injury based on sports massage theory and skills. Partners in this devotion are 20 Elementary School PE teachers aged 38.75±13.23 years. The community devotion method uses a collaborative participatory approach. The implementation of the training involves the delivery of theory and practice. Data were collected through questionnaires to evaluate knowledge before and after the training, as well as direct observation to evaluate practical skills. The results showed that the training increased the knowledge of PE teachers about sports massage, especially in understanding specific benefits such as increased blood flow (+23.33% in “strongly agree”), flexibility (+41.52% in “strongly agree”), muscle fatigue (+28.89% in “strongly agree”), and relaxation effects (+55.56% in “strongly agree”). The positive perception of PE teachers also experienced a strengthening, as seen from increased confidence in the value and recommendation of sports massage to others, as well as an expanded understanding of the scope of sports massage applications for various age groups. In terms of practical skills, PE teachers demonstrated satisfactory mastery of basic techniques such as stroking (mean 3.06), shaking (mean 3.00), and tapotement (mean 3.05), although some other techniques require further learning (mean <3.00). Overall, this devotion succeeded in improving the knowledge and skills of sports massage of Elementary School PE teachers.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Special Program (MIM SP) Kartasura, Sukoharjo District, Central Java with a focus on strengthening inclusive learning through the Adaptive Physical Education approach. The main issue faced by schools is the limitation of teachers in designing physical activities that are friendly to students with special needs, so assistance is needed to improve pedagogical competence while creating an equal learning atmosphere. The implementation method includes the stage of identifying needs, teacher training, designing adaptive physical learning models, and implementation and evaluation through direct practice in the classroom. A participatory approach is used so that teachers and students are actively involved in the learning process. The results of the mentoring showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the principles of adaptive physical education, the availability of varied and inclusive physical activity designs, and an increase in the involvement of students with special needs in physical activities. The program also fosters regular students' positive attitudes toward their peers with special needs. Thus, this service has succeeded in making a real contribution to strengthening inclusive learning practices in elementary schools through the optimization of adaptive physical education

Abstract

The creative economy serves as a vital platform for promoting and preserving local cultural heritage. UMKM Tan Collection, a creative enterprise producing Binjai's signature "rambutan batik," faces significant marketing challenges as the sole producer of handcrafted rambutan batik in the city. Digital visibility remains particularly low, with minimal online information and motif documentation compared to other batik varieties, resulting in unstable market demand. This community service program aims to enhance the digital promotion and sales of rambutan batik through social media content creation training. The methodology includes problem identification, CapCut video editing workshops, content development assistance, and implementation evaluation. Results demonstrate improved digital literacy among artisans, creation of engaging social media content, and enhanced online brand visibility. The program successfully established a sustainable digital marketing framework, enabling continuous product promotion and cultural preservation through digital platforms.

Abstract

Mathematics education plays a crucial role in shaping critical thinking skills and the character of 21st-century students. However, mathematics learning at the junior high school level, particularly in Sanggau Regency, still faces challenges in implementing methods that promote in-depth understanding and application. One relevant approach to address this issue is moral-based Deep Learning, which emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also affective aspects and character values. This Community Service (PKM) activity was conducted by lecturers from the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tanjungpura University, with the aim of improving the competence of junior high school teachers in designing, implementing, and evaluating Deep Learning-based mathematics learning. The activity methods included workshops, mentoring, and practical training in developing learning tools that integrate moral values. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the Deep Learning concept and their ability to develop meaningful, contextual, and character-based learning designs. This activity is expected to contribute to improving the quality of mathematics learning in Sanggau Regency and encourage the emergence of a generation of students who are intellectually intelligent and strong in morality.

Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying in the world of education today is a serious challenge because it negatively impacts the development of students' personality, psychology, and emotional well-being. Acts of bullying can cause physical and mental suffering, cause stress, depression, mental health disorders, and can even lead to suicide. This condition requires serious attention from various parties, especially educators, to create a safe, inclusive, and empathetic learning environment. Community service activities at SD Negeri 2 Kepanjen, Jombang Regency, were carried out with the aim of fostering empathy and anti-bullying behavior through character education. The training methods used are participatory, including lectures, interactive discussions, and question and answer sessions. The results of the activity showed that participants comprehensively understood the basic concepts, forms, causes, and legal consequences of bullying, and were aware of their roles and responsibilities in prevention in schools. In addition, there is an increased understanding of the concept of empathy, the negative impact of bullying, and prevention strategies. Teachers are also encouraged to play an active role in instilling the value of caring and respecting each other in the learning environment. Overall, these activities contribute to the formation of a school culture that is characteristic, humanist, and free from bullying behavior.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out based on the problem of students' understanding of basic table tennis skills, so there was a need for an activity that could support the understanding of basic table tennis skills, using an educational and participatory approach that combined lectures and practice. The participants of this community service activity were 65 physical education students who were taking a table tennis course. The results of the community service activity showed that the initial data was in the poor category (52.30%). After learning the initial data results, the students practised the material and the final results were in the good category (36.92%). From this data, it can be seen and understood that this community service activity had a positive impact on basic table tennis skills.
