Abstract

The Project for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-PPRA) learning program has been declared a mandatory program within the Merdeka Curriculum. However, teachers at Aisyiyah Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Gatak District lack adequate understanding of it. The objective of this community service activity was to enhance Aisyiyah PAUD teachers' understanding of the P5-PPRA learning program. The methods used included lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and discussions. After participating in the socialization, participants' knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles, and benefits of P5-PPRA increased from 58.13% to 90.69%. This improved understanding equips Aisyiyah PAUD teachers with sufficient preparation to implement the P5-PPRA learning program in the classroom. Mastery of the P5-PPRA learning program is expected to improve the quality of Aisyiyah PAUD education.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the effectiveness of digital marketing for retail Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), specifically Pasundan Gorden, through the integration of e-commerce and social media. The activities encompassed the design of a user-friendly e-commerce website, the development of focused social media campaigns, and the evaluation of their impact on business performance. Implementation methods included identifying participant needs, preparing training materials, conducting interactive workshops, and post-training evaluation. Results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills in digital marketing, with average scores increasing from 60 to 85. Furthermore, a responsive website and focused social media campaigns were created, leading to increased consumer engagement, brand awareness, and sales. Dissemination of information on content marketing, SEO, and augmented reality is recommended to enhance customer loyalty. Abstract

The low interest of high school students in civil engineering is a concern, as this field is crucial for infrastructure development. This community engagement program aimed to enhance the interest and understanding of civil engineering among students at SMAN 78 Jakarta through an innovative introductory program. The methods employed included interactive presentations on civil engineering, discussions, Q&A sessions, and evaluations. The results showed that 100% of students expressed a desire to learn more about civil engineering through follow-up activities, and 76.9% of students reported a better understanding of the field compared to before. Furthermore, 65.4% of students demonstrated increased interest in civil engineering, although the majority still placed it as a second or lower-choice major. The implications of this community service activity are increased awareness and interest among students in the field of civil engineering. However, to achieve a more significant shift in major selection, a more comprehensive approach is needed, such as more intensive career guidance, direct involvement with professionals, and more realistic work simulations.

Abstract

Poorly managed organic waste often accumulates, becoming a significant source of pollution. A major challenge is the low utilization rate of waste management facilities. This ongoing issue of organic waste has negative impacts on both public health and quality of life. This initiative aimed to enhance community awareness of waste management and provide guidance on creating composter tools as a solution for organic waste management. The methods employed included waste management sensitization focusing on waste segregation, alongside training on composter construction and usage. Evaluation results indicate that 93% of participants understood the importance of waste segregation, and 93% were able to construct a simple composter after the activity. This program can serve as a sustainable model for waste management, particularly organic waste, at the hamlet level.

Abstract

Poor sanitation practices, particularly open defecation, are major contributors to diarrhea, leading to millions of deaths worldwide. In Indonesia, this issue is exacerbated during the dry season. To address this problem, this activity aimed to provide education on diarrhea using a Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) approach. Activities included education on the pillars of CLTS, interactive discussions, and evaluation. Evaluation results demonstrated that CLTS education was effective in increasing community knowledge about diarrhea prevention, indicated by an improvement in average knowledge scores after the intervention. Therefore, widespread dissemination of CLTS through counseling, promotional media, and the involvement of community leaders is highly recommended to improve sanitation quality and prevent diarrhea.

Abstract

Original "SuleMu" soy milk currently has limited shelf life without refrigeration. Therefore, it is crucial to assist partners in enhancing product competitiveness and diversification. The primary objectives of this community engagement activity were to improve SuleMu's marketability through the addition of new flavors and the provision of nutritional value analysis, as well as to enhance product quality by developing derivative products such as soyghurt and frozen yogurt. The activity stages included: (1) mentoring for the diversification of SuleMu derivative products, (2) nutritional value analysis of derivative products, (3) designing product labels compliant with standards, and (4) conducting a market survey on consumer preferences for SuleMu derivative products. Results indicate that SuleMu is now available in new flavors: melon, chocolate, and strawberry. The nutritional content per 100 grams is 3.4–3.5 grams of soluble protein, 3.3–3.7 grams of fat, 5–5.7 grams of reducing sugars, 2.6–3.6 grams of crude fiber, and approximately 39–40 mg of calcium. SuleMu production increased from 5 kg of soybeans to 6 kg per day. Furthermore, consumers showed high interest in the "Soyoghurt" frozen yogurt derivative product, with 42.4% being very interested and positive evaluations regarding taste (36.1%) and affordable price (29.2%). Overall, this community engagement activity successfully increased SuleMu's production by 17%, and soyghurt demonstrates significant potential for development as a highly competitive new innovation.

Abstract

This community service initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of wound care nurses in the assessment and early detection of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU). The program was a collaborative effort between the Institut Teknologi dan Kesehatan Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Barat and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). The methodology included lectures, discussions, hands-on practice, and evaluation using a one-group pre-test and post-test design to measure the intervention's effectiveness. Results demonstrated a significant increase in nurses' knowledge, with the average pre-test score improving from 75 to 88 after the intervention. This indicates that international collaboration is effective in improving the knowledge and skills of wound care nurses. Furthermore, regular, scheduled training sessions are recommended to maintain and enhance nurses' competency in diabetic wound management.

Abstract

Rapid population growth in DKI Jakarta has led to increased territorial density, resulting in a growing number of slums and a housing gap in the availability of decent housing. One of the main challenges in urban planning is the unavailability of accurate and up-to-date data on Unfit-for-Habitation Houses (RTLH), which is still based on sampling methods. Therefore, the primary objective of this community service activity is to develop an efficient data update framework, enabling the Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas (DPRKP) to update data in real-time without the need for extensive re-surveys. The implementation method involved outreach to the Sub-Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas (PRKP) across various administrative regions of Jakarta, followed by question-and-answer sessions and discussions. The results indicate that the developed data update framework can enhance the accuracy and efficiency of RTLH information management, thereby supporting more effective data-driven decision-making for the local government.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the Indonesian economy, yet comprehensive e-commerce adoption remains low. This community service initiative aimed to facilitate the digital transformation of MSMEs by enhancing awareness and skills in the integration of e-commerce and artificial intelligence (AI). The implementation method included a national webinar, “Forum Digitalk”. The results demonstrated an 80% increase in public awareness regarding the digital transformation of MSMEs, along with a positive shift in participants' attitudes towards utilizing technology. This initiative recommends advanced training, government policies supporting technology adoption, and mentorship programs to ensure the sustainability of MSME digital transformation, including the integration of social commerce and artificial intelligence applications, to maintain competitiveness in the future marketplace.
