Abstract

Listening skills in a foreign language are an important component of an effective language learning process. Technological advances have opened up new opportunities to improve listening skills, one of which is through the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This study aims to explain the potential use of AR in this context. The use of AR in foreign language learning provides an interactive and immersive experience for students. This technology allows users to combine the real world with digital elements, such as text or images, which can aid in the understanding and mastery of a foreign language. Various AR applications developed specifically for foreign language learning can create simulated situations where students can practice listening in real contexts. In addition, AR also allows personalization of learning. The AR system can be adapted to individual learners' ability levels, providing suitable exercises and challenges. This helps increase learning motivation and overall learning outcomes. This research also examines the challenges that may be faced in using AR, such as the accessibility of the technology and devices required, as well as the development of adequate content. However, as technology continues to develop, there are more and more opportunities to overcome these obstacles. In conclusion, the use of Augmented Reality technology can bring great benefits in improving listening skills in foreign languages. With the right approach and investment in the development of relevant technology and content, AR has the potential to become a valuable tool in foreign language education and can help students achieve higher levels of competency in foreign language listening. It is hoped that the results of this research can increase knowledge for pupils and students who utilize Augmented Reality Technology to Improve Listening Skills in Foreign Languages. The limitation of this research is that the researcher did not directly get involved in conducting this research, but instead distributed the questionnaire online.

Abstract

Big data plays an increasingly important role in education, offering great potential to improve educational decision making. Big Data collects, stores, and analyzes large amounts of and diverse data at very high speeds. In the educational context, big data collects data from various sources, including school management systems, student academic records, student satisfaction surveys, and online data. Analysis of this data can provide valuable information to decision makers in the education sector to identify relevant trends, patterns and opportunities. This research discusses the great benefits that can be gained from using Big Data in an educational context to support better decision making. Through research on the educational benefits of big data in supporting better decision making, it is hoped that this will provide an excellent opportunity to improve decision making in education. Through careful data analysis, education can become more effective, efficient and relevant to better meet the needs of students and society. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. Researchers conducted a survey using a Google form consisting of 15 statements related to the title of the research. Researchers found that using big data in education provides great opportunities to improve better educational decision making. And supported by careful selection as material for consideration. The limitation of this research is that the researcher only conducted research in schools and the researcher did not conduct research directly in schools but shared a survey link on a Google form containing a statement about the benefits of big data in supporting better educational decision making.

Abstract

Education in Indonesian tertiary institutions has recently been negotiating with him that there is a problem that arises in learning in the form of less effective classroom learning, because the time between teaching materials is not balanced and in delivering material it is too monotonous and boring because the The material being taught is in the form of lectures so that with this students will feel sleepy and not enthusiastic in learning. Therefore, learning with conventional methods such as listening to lectures in class tends to make students passive and ultimately makes teaching and learning activities unpleasant and boring. So the effort that must be made for this problem is how to overcome it. One of the newest innovative learning models based on learning videos and is believed to be a solution to this problem is teaching through a flipped classroom for new innovations in universities in Indonesia. This lesson guides students to study independently, with the help of videos they can study before going to class, so that by coming to class they will only do class activities that focus more on discussion activities and asking questions. Therefore this study aims to create students who are more active in discussing in class so that the discussion only discusses material that has been studied at home. So as to create a class atmosphere that is not quiet and creates active and enthusiastic students in learning. The existence of a learning model in the form of a Flipped Classroom will make it easier for lecturers and students in class activities, and this Flipped Classroom can be applied in Universities in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The data obtained in this study is through the distribution of questionnaires containing statements. The questionnaire was created via Google Form. The results of this study explain that teaching through Flipped Classroom provides positive benefits in learning, becomes a solution in solving problems, and encourages student enthusiasm and will create local activity so that collaboration between individuals is created, and motivates the birth of new ideas. The conclusion of this study explains that teaching through Flipped Classroom can change a person to think more creatively, increase the ability and skills to create new things that are more creative, create an interesting learning environment, and build good communication between individuals. The limitations of this study are that researchers only conduct research at the tertiary level which basically can think more critically to deal with new things.

Abstract

Keeping students engaged in teaching and learning activities is a very difficult task for teachers and schools. Changes in school systems are continuously changing the way students interact and engage in learning, forcing educators to explore resources and strategies to better support students. Educational technology helps educators meet today's needs and is an important resource for the learning process. Increased use of technology in learning environments can support and enhance student engagement. The emergence of collaborative platforms is a form of technological interest to support student engagement. The purpose of this research is to explore whether technology with collaborative platforms can support student involvement in the learning process. Through research on supporting student engagement through this technology-based collaboration platform, researchers hope that using technology-based collaboration platforms in learning can help students in the learning process. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. Researchers conducted a survey using a Google form consisting of 15 sentences related to the research title. The researchers found that supporting student engagement through technology-based collaborative platforms had a major impact on student engagement. The presence of a collaborative learning platform makes students more enthusiastic and excited. Students feel that with cooperation in the learning process, learning becomes more differentiated and attracts students' attention. The limitations of this research are that researchers only conduct research in schools and researchers do not conduct research directly in schools but share survey links on Google forms containing statements about supporting student engagement through technology-based collaborative platforms.

Abstract

Revitalizing listening skills with advanced sound processing technology is an interesting concept, especially in today's digital era where technology is advancing rapidly. Listening skill is the ability to understand, analyze, and respond well to information conveyed through sound, and this is a key skill in various contexts, such as interpersonal communication, business, education, and others. Here are some ways revitalizing hearing skills with advanced sound processing technologies can be accomplished, Introduction to Sound Processing Technologies, It is important to understand what advanced sound processing technologies are. This includes using speech processing algorithms, speech recognition techniques, and even artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize speech understanding and interpretation. Hearing Skills Training Speech processing technology can be used in hearing skills training. For example, an application that can record, analyze and provide feedback on a person's hearing ability. Such applications can be used in the context of business education or training. Automatic Transcription and Translation, Voice processing technology can be used to convert conversations in foreign languages ??into text or translate voice content in real time. This can help someone understand a foreign language or content displayed in a language they are not familiar with. Improved Business Communications, In business, voice processing technology can be used to record, analyze and provide feedback on presentations, meetings or telephone conversations. This can help improve business communication skills. Providing Better Customer Service Many companies use voice processing technology to improve their customer service. Advanced voice interactive systems (IVR) can be used to route customer calls more efficiently and provide necessary information. Sentiment Understanding Advanced voice processing technology can be used to analyze sentiment in conversations or customer reviews. This can help companies understand the views and feelings of their customers. Abstract

The global pandemic has pushed educational communities around the world to look for innovative solutions to make distance learning effective. One of the emerging solutions is to use Virtual Clashroom, a concept that combines cutting-edge video conferencing technology with student-focused interactions. This research discusses the application of Virtual Clashroom as a solution to connect teachers and students online in distance education. Virtual Clashroom provides an interactive platform that allows teachers to teach in a more interesting and interesting way. With features like digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and interactive chat, teachers can facilitate active and collaborative learning. Students can ask questions, participate in discussions, and collaborate with other students in a safe virtual environment. This research also evaluates the effectiveness of Virtual Clashroom in increasing student engagement, subject understanding, and teacher-student interactions. The results show that Virtual Clashroom can create a more interesting and effective distance learning experience than conventional methods. Students reported high levels of satisfaction in using the platform, while teachers felt they could teach more effectively in a virtual environment. The Virtual Clashroom application opens up new opportunities in the world of education, especially during emergency situations such as a pandemic. By utilizing this technology, distance learning can become more interactive, inclusive and effective. This study provides valuable information about how Virtual Clashroom can be the right solution to improve the quality of education in the future. Abstract

Education is very important for human life. Many of them are vying for the best education in the world to guarantee a better future. The thing that is very concerned about in Education is learning and also the right method of teaching, because that way it can give birth to a competitive and quality generation. One of them is the role of cloud computing technology, which is a combination of the use of computer technology and internet-based development. A way or method that makes it easy for users to access information without knowing what is in it, being expert with it or having control over it. Cloud computing is an important technology that has helped many institutions and schools use distance learning, and can support Education's accessibility and scalability. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of cloud computing technology in increasing the accessibility and scalability of more advanced education and being able to create a generation that is highly competitive and virtuous. The method used in this study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to respondents as many as 15 statements about the use of cloud computing technology in education. The results of this study proved to be a very effective role for cloud computing technology in improving education, because this technology can increase students' interest in learning and make them enthusiastic in learning, so as to create an interactive learning atmosphere. The implication of this latest technology is to make learning more interesting and easily accessible anytime and anywhere by students. Assignments can be collected online by utilizing various supporting educational platforms and application delivery of subject matter.

Utilizing smartphone-based mobile learning in the learning process will provide the latest innovative alternatives to the learning process. Today's students tend to experience distractions in their learning process. Not infrequently the learning system that applies in a school makes students bored and not enthusiastic about learning. This could have been because the school did not make any changes in the existing education system. Where the effect of the incident will cause students to feel bored and bored in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out the potential utilization of smartphones as a form of mobile learning revolution in the learning process. Abstract

In today’s increasingly interconnected world, promoting multicultural awareness has become essential, especially in educational settings. Language education offers a unique platform to foster this awareness, as language and culture are deeply intertwined. However, many language programs focus primarily on linguistic skills, overlooking the cultural dimensions that help students appreciate and navigate cultural diversity. This research aims to examine the role of language education in enhancing students’ understanding of multiculturalism, specifically through curricula that incorporate cultural perspectives and foster intercultural competence. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining surveys and interviews with 200 language learners and 50 educators across various educational institutions. Quantitative data from the surveys measured participants' perceptions of multicultural awareness, while qualitative data from the interviews provided deeper insights into how language education influences students' cultural understanding. Both methods were essential to capturing the complex relationship between language learning and multicultural awareness. The findings indicate that students exposed to culturally enriched language curricula showed a higher level of interest in cultural topics and a greater openness toward diverse perspectives. Educators observed that students became more engaged when cultural content was integrated into lessons, improving their overall language proficiency and intercultural skills.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology, particularly in augmented reality (AR), has opened new possibilities for interactive language learning. Traditional language learning methods often fail to engage learners actively, limiting the development of real-world communication skills. AR, with its immersive and interactive nature, offers an innovative approach that can bridge this gap by providing contextualized language learning experiences. This research aims to explore how augmented reality can be leveraged to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of language learners in both formal and informal educational settings. A mixed-methods research design was employed, combining quantitative data from language proficiency assessments and qualitative insights gathered through surveys and interviews with both learners and educators. AR-based language learning applications were implemented over a period of three months with a sample of 150 students, and their progress was monitored through pre- and post-tests. Learners interacted with virtual objects, scenarios, and conversations in real-world environments, providing immersive language practice opportunities. The results indicated a significant improvement in language proficiency, particularly in speaking and listening skills, with learners showing increased confidence and engagement. AR-enhanced lessons allowed students to practice language in context, making the learning process more intuitive and enjoyable.
