The phenomenon of bullying cases among students in schools has significantly increased in Indonesia. It has become a trending topic in daily news in various national media both related to the perpetrators and victims of the bullying. Islamic religious education teachers should also be responsible to educate learners to behave based on religious values believed as an alternative to prevent bullying behavior. The study is aimed at identifying how Islamic religion teachers should participate in preventing bullying among students. This study employs a qualitative method of a phenomenological approach. The data was collected through in-depth individual interviews and group discussions with thirty informants consisting of fifteen Islamic religious education teachers, five principals, five parents and five students in fifteen elementary schools in one of the provinces in Indonesia. To enrich the main data, the author also conducted a direct observation related to how the actions taken by teachers in preventing bullying. All interview and observation data were thematically analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model assisted by NVivo software. The research findings reveal five themes of Islamic religion teachers' attitudes in preventing bullying among students: i) instilling mutual respect among students, ii) modeling how to get along based on religious values, iii) thematically linking all religious subject matter to prevent bullying behavior, iv) socializing the adverse effects of bullying to the victims, v) working with all school members to develop work strategies to prevent bullying, vi) involving parents as ambassadors of children without bullying behavior. These six attitudes are real examples of how religious teachers respond to prevent bullying.

The research results show that the Google Scholar database based on network visualization analysis proves that there is a link between macroeconomics and Islamic macro indicators and variables in general. This finding is proven by the many Islamic macroeconomics variables found in each cluster. In the density visualization analysis, there are the terms of inflation, conventional bank, return and Islamic finance, which are topics that have been widely researched during 2014-2023. Meanwhile, in the database dimensions in the network visualization analysis shows that Islamic banking, financing, and exchange rates are closely interconnected. Arabic language learning in higher education has an important role in shaping students' linguistic competence, especially in Islamic-based institutions. However, its implementation in practice often faces challenges that affect the teaching-learning process. This article aims to analyze the problems of Arabic language learning in higher education, identify the source of the problems, and offer solutions to the learning that is carried out. This analysis uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. This article screened 20 articles from Scopus and Google Scholar indexed journals published between 2018-2024. The results of the analysis show that there are four main problems, first the low competence of lecturers in applying learning methods, second the lack of utilization of educational technology in the learning process, third the limitations of teaching materials, fourth the low motivation of students in learning Arabic. These findings indicate that learning Arabic requires new approaches, such as the integration of digital-based technology, continuous training for lecturers, and the provision of teaching materials tailored to the needs and interests of students. The four results of this analysis are expected to provide insights for curriculum development and more effective Arabic learning methods. For future researchers, it is hoped that the results of this analysis can be the main reference and for lecturers, curriculum developers and policy designers in overcoming the challenges of learning Arabic in higher education and improving the quality of graduates who have superior linguistic competence.

Islamic history education is a mandatory subject designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Islam. As such, it necessitates a learning model that incorporates innovative, creative, and adaptive teaching styles and approaches to achieve the intended outcomes. This research aims to analyze the impact of contextual teaching and learning on Islamic history education in secondary schools. The study adopts an explanatory mixed-methods design, with the first stage employing a quantitative survey approach and the second stage utilizing a qualitative case study. Quantitative data were collected through a survey consisting of sixty items and analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data were obtained from six informants, including teachers and students, and analyzed thematically using the Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that the contextual teaching and learning model is highly effective in delivering Islamic cultural history materials through five key steps: i) constructivist material, ii) learning community, iii) modeling, iv) reflection, and v) authentic assessment. These steps serve as a valuable reference for Islamic cultural history teachers in facilitating subject delivery in the classroom.

Quranic education is a crucial aspect of shaping the identity and values of Muslim societies. However, Muslim-majority countries face various challenges in providing high-quality Quranic education. This study aims to analyze the problems related to Quranic education in these countries. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach in several majority-Muslim countries. Data were collected through interviews with Quranic education experts, teachers, and students, as well as through document and literature analysis. All data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis technique with NVivo 12 software. The research findings indicate that the challenges in Quranic education include the absence of legislation governing the Quranic teaching profession, limited availability of qualified teachers, low competence in instructional management, the fact that not all Quran teachers possess a bachelor's degree in Quranic education, insufficient professional development due to a lack of continuous training, the profession's lack of appeal to Islamic scholars because it does not promise a future career, and inadequate teacher compensation. The findings underscore the importance of implementing systematic and strategic improvements to enhance the quality of Quranic education.
