Abstract

Human resource management is a process of managing human resources or a potential within humans to realize desired goals in groups. In the Qur'an, it is explained that man is the creation of Allah Almighty. Who is perfect from other beings. Management science is part of the social film, so it is very closely related to human resources. The most influential actor in the management process is the man himself. So that human resource management becomes critical in success to achieve the goals aspired by each group. Islam is a religion that provides various solutions for human affairs, especially in the process of human resource management in its holy book, the Qur'an. Thus in this article, researchers use literature research that examines and analyzes books related to human resource management from the perspective of Quranic verses. So it can be concluded that in the management of human resources in the verses of the Qur'an, there are four processes, namely planning, selection and placement, development, and compensation.

Abstract

Agricultural products from year to year continue to decline. One of the factors that affect the decline in agricultural yields is the presence of Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) so that control measures are needed. Chemical control is one of the most widely used pest control by farmers. However, there are many negative impacts from the use of chemical pesticides for both the environment and human health. The relatively expensive price of chemical pesticides adds to the problems for farmers, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Vegetable pesticides can be used as an alternative for pest control during the Covid-19 pandemic because apart from being cheap, they are also safe for the environment and human health. The method used is cuunseling, training, and mentoring with the sample used is youth from the village source of Ketempah. The purpose of this activity is to make Sumber Ketempah village agriculture better, independent, and sustainable. The results of the implementation of the work program are 1 liter of papaya leaf vegetable pesticides and applied to tobacco plants at a dose of 10 ml/l to control armyworm pests.

Abstract

The rise of socio-religious conflicts that have occurred in Indonesia in recent years has caused the condition of Indonesian society to be threatened. Such as the case of acts of terrorism by ISIS networks and radical Islamic groups. Also the movement against pancasila by the leader of the Jemaah Islamiyah group, Abu Bakar Ba'asyir. One of the factors causing the emergence of religious social conflicts is the existence of differences in views and beliefs about something. Overcoming this, religious moderation is conceptualized as a powerful solution in controlling radical and extreme ideas. In this study, researchers felt the need to reexamine the concept of religious moderation from the frame of Islam in the view of Habib 'Ali al-Jufri. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with the type of literature research. The focus of research by researchers is taken from two points, namely; a) the concept of religious moderation in the Islamic perspective of Habib 'Ali al-Jufri; b) the relevance of the concept of religious moderation in Islam from Habib 'Ali al-Jufri's perspective to the religious diversity of Indonesian society. Religious moderation according to Habib 'Ali al-Jufri is a person's religious perspective or attitude while still maintaining human values. In such conditions, the similarity of form as a creature of Allah SWT becomes a factor to be generous with various differences. The concept of religious moderation by Habib 'Ali al-Jufri is very important and very relevant to be applied in Indonesia. Considering Indonesia with a Muslim majority and various mass organizations in it. Thus, the concept of humanizing humans is the main indicator in realizing the glory and glory of Muslims in Indonesia.

Abstract

Digital trade has rapidly developed with the support of telematics technology, which enables connectivity among economic actors worldwide. Major e-commerce platforms like Temu and Shein leverage this technology to accelerate product distribution and expand their market reach. Temu, with its business model that directly connects producers and consumers, reduces distribution costs and speeds up delivery. Shein, which adopts a fast fashion model, utilizes telematics-based applications to enhance the speed of production and distribution, as well as to quickly respond to fashion trends. Nevertheless, the global e-commerce sector faces significant regulatory challenges, particularly concerning digital taxation, consumer protection, and personal data protection. In Indonesia, these regulatory challenges become more complex due to cross-border digital transactions involving international platforms that do not fully comply with local regulations. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the role of telematics technology in supporting global digital trade and its impact on e-commerce regulatory policies, as well as to propose policy measures to address the existing challenges. This research uses a qualitative approach with document analysis and literature review from various related sources. The findings indicate that regulatory updates and stronger international cooperation are crucial to addressing cross-border e-commerce regulatory challenges and enhancing consumer protection and fair implementation of digital taxation.

Abstract

This study examines Indonesia’s halal certification as both a legal instrument and an economic policy with direct implications for international trade. Using a normative juridical approach combined with qualitative economic analysis, it explores Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Assurance (UUJPH) and its application to meat import policies, particularly in the aftermath of WTO disputes DS477/478. Halal certification is framed as a fundamental necessity for Indonesia’s Muslim majority and as a legitimate objective under Article XX(a) of the GATT 1994, which protects public morals. The findings highlight two strategic dimensions of the policy: first, consumer protection and the enforcement of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah through traceable ingredients and production processes; second, its role as an economic tool to enhance product competitiveness, expand international market access, and strengthen Indonesia’s position within the global halal supply chain. However, significant challenges persist. Domestically, limited legal literacy, certification costs, and the constrained capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) hinder certification uptake. Internationally, mandatory halal certification is sometimes perceived as an additional technical barrier to trade, sparking trade disputes. Analysis of GATT 1994 Articles III and XI and TBT Agreement Articles 2.2 and 2.4 underscores the need for Indonesia’s policy to avoid unjustifiable discrimination and unnecessary trade restrictions. The study concludes that harmonizing the protection of public morals with multilateral trade commitments is essential. Policy recommendations include revising the UUJPH to align with international standards, strengthening the Halal Product Assurance Agency’s capacity, providing incentives and support for MSMEs, and expanding mutual recognition agreements with key trading partners. With evidence-based, transparent, and inclusive policies, Indonesia can reinforce its role as a global halal industry hub while safeguarding its trade reputation and balancing religious values with international trade obligations.

Abstract

Since 2017, military operations in Myanmar, justified as responses to attacks by Rohingya insurgent groups, have resulted in large-scale ethnic cleansing, forcing over 700,000 Rohingya to flee to neighboring countries, including Indonesia. Aceh, in particular, has become a significant destination due to its historical role as a refuge for displaced populations. The influx of refugees presents substantial challenges for local authorities and humanitarian organizations in meeting essential needs such as food, healthcare, and education. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has played a central role in responding to this humanitarian crisis by providing assistance and protection to Rohingya refugees in Aceh. Working closely with the Government of Indonesia and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), UNHCR strives to uphold refugees’ fundamental rights and to mobilize international support effectively. Its interventions include the provision of basic necessities, access to healthcare services, educational programs, and efforts to facilitate integration into the local community where feasible. Despite these comprehensive efforts, significant challenges persist. Coordination among various actors—including government agencies, NGOs, and international donors—is often complex, resulting in gaps or overlaps in service delivery. Additionally, the sustainability of support remains a critical concern, as protracted displacement requires long-term planning, continuous funding, and consistent monitoring. This study focuses on two main issues: the role of UNHCR in delivering assistance and protection to Rohingya refugees in Aceh, and the challenges the agency faces in fulfilling its protection mandate. Employing doctrinal legal research, the study emphasizes international legal frameworks governing refugee protection and state responsibility. The findings indicate that while UNHCR has made substantial efforts to address immediate humanitarian needs, persistent challenges in coordination and sustainability must be addressed. Strengthening these areas is essential to ensure that the protection, welfare, and rights of Rohingya refugees are maintained effectively and sustainably over the long term.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the environmental crisis, which calls for a holistic approach grounded in religious values, particularly within the Islamic Boarding School environment. However, there has been little research that thoroughly examines how Islamic Boarding Schools integrate the values of Eco-sufism through the hidden curriculum to foster religious character that is environmentally conscious. This study aims to: (1) describe a model for integrating Eco-sufism through the hidden curriculum to foster students’ religious character; (2) identify the Eco-sufism values instilled through the hidden curriculum to enhance character education that is environmentally conscious; and (3) analyze the implications of Eco-sufism integration on students’ ecological behavior at Al-Amien Prenduan Islamic Boarding School. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants were the leaders and caregivers, teachers, and students. The research was conducted from April 2025 to December 2025. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the model of Eco-sufism integration is manifested in the exemplary conduct of the kiai, daily routines, and the boarding school’s spatial layout, all of which are rich in ecological meaning. The internalized values include simplicity, balance with nature, and responsibility as stewards of the earth. Consequently, there is a shift in the students’ ecological behavior, characterized by an awareness of maintaining cleanliness, managing resources, and caring for environmental sustainability. This study confirms that an Eco-sufism-based hidden curriculum effectively shapes the students’ religious and ecological character in an integrated manner.
