Abstract

One of the factors that cause easily damaged and potholed road conditions is commonly known as Over Dimension and Over Load (ODOL), and is also one of the causes of the decline in road condition or quality. With the availability of many limestones in Indonesia, it encourages researchers to conduct research on limestone as a filler in the AC-BC mixture using the Marshall test method. The purpose of utilizing limestone filler is how to overcome the limitations of construction materials. Testing Analysis of limestone filler filters obtained a value of 84.06%. Specific gravity testing obtained a value of 2.611. Judging from the flow value at asphalt content of 4.5%, 5.1%, 5.6%, 6.1%, and 6.6% with values of 3.80 mm, 3.97 mm, 3.60 mm, 4.03 mm, and 4.07 mm. Judging from the stability value at asphalt content of 4.5%, 5.1%, 5.6%, 6.1%, and 6.6% with values of 968.6 kg, 1144.6 kg, 1010.9 kg, 1027.6 kg and 991.2 kg. The results showed that the use of Gresik limestone as a substitute for filler in the AC-BC mixture met the specifications that had been set so that it could be used as an alternative filler substitute for highway pavement materials

Abstract

Kamal-Madura Port is an ASDP (River, Lake and Ferry Transport) ferry port in Bangkalan-Madura Regency, the operation of the Suramadu Bridge has an impact on the performance of the Kamal-Madura Port, one of which is a decrease in the vitality of the area such as damaged road conditions, several canteens that have not been operating for a long time. With the decrease in ferry activities at the Kamal-Madura Port, there has also been a decrease in the activities of traders, small industries and public transportation. As a company that offers transportation services, Kamal-Madura Port must have good service quality so that it can continue to grow, by measuring the level of satisfaction or passenger perceptions of service quality it is very useful for port managers or administrators to find out which components need to be improved and quality improved. Researchers use the IPA method (Importance Perfomance Analysis), This method serves to measure the level of service quality in a company and which priorities must be maintained so that the company's performance is in line with consumer expectations. The results of this studyThe results of the study show that the mean value of respondents' satisfaction answers is 51.52% which can be concluded that the level of passenger satisfaction at Kamal-Madura Port is average, namely between satisfied and dissatisfied with port facility services because the percentage is <60%.

Abstract

Parking is an important component in the needs of the transportation system so the need for parking spaces must be known before planning the construction of for example traditional markets. The market is one of the economic sectors that is a place to interact between sellers and buyers, one of which is the Sedati Customs Market. Parking spaces at the Sedati Customs market cannot accommodate vehicles during peak hours due to lack of parking space. This study aims to analyze parking characteristics, parking capacity, and parking space needs in the Sedati Customs market. Based on the results of research conducted from Monday, May 1, 2023 to Sunday, May 7, 2023, it was found that the maximum accumulation occurred on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at peak hours, namely 07.00 – 08.00 of 35 vehicles. The vehicle volume on the peak day, Saturday, May 6, 2023, reached 327 vehicles. The percentage of parking index from Monday, May 1, 2023 to Sunday, May 7, 2023 has exceeded 100%, indicating that parking capacity is not enough to accommodate incoming vehicles. The parking capacity owned by the Sedati Customs market is only 20 SRP while the required capacity is based on a maximum accumulation of 35 vehicles. Parking needs at the Sedati Customs market found that parking spaces require 15 more SRP in order to accommodate vehicles during peak hours

Abstract

Pavement layers in Indonesia have started to use hot mixes for resurfacing, maintenance, improvement, and construction of new roads. One type of hot mix asphalt that is often used is Asphalt Concrete (Laston) or AC (Asphalt Concrete). One type of asphalt pavement in this specification is asphalt concrete (Laston) or better known as AC (Asphalt Concrete). Laston is more resistant to plastic melting but quite sensitive to cracking. The general type of damage experienced by the Laston mixture is cracking and/or grain detachment. By using the 2010 road pavement general specifications guide, the general problem encountered is how the difference in presentation of the optimum bitumen content is used for coarse and fine graded materials on the AC-BC layer. what I did was to find out the differences in Marshall characteristics using finely graded AC-BC and coarse-graded AC-BC. The optimum bitumen content in the finely graded AC-BC mixture obtained a value of 5.125%, while the coarse-graded AC-BC mixture obtained a value of 4.575%.

Abstract

Lamongan-Gresik road is one of the main roads that is connected to the capital city of East Java Province, Surabaya. This study was conducted to assess damages on the road and to determine the priority level of handling it by conducting a visual survey, pavement surface damage measurement, and LHR survey for one day on the road section. Bina Marga method was utilized in the analysis comprising six types of road damages that are identified, namely: photole, patches, alligator cracking, rutting, reflection cracking, longitudinal and transverse cracks, depression grade, and polished aggregate. The major type of damages is alligator cracking (41.00%) with an area of 792.76 m2, while the minor type of damages is photole (0.08%) with an area of 1.54 m2 from Gresik to Babat, while the major type of damage is alligator cracking by 53.00% with an area of 801.27 m2, and the minor type of damage is reflection cracking by 0.20% with an area of 3.08 m2 from Babat to Gresik. Based on the type of pavement damages reviewed, namely Asphalt (P2), the types of damages that are repaired using local asphalt are alligator cracks, box cracks, longitudinal and transverse cracks with width < 2 mm, and ravelling. Filling the hole (P5) Damages repaired with this method are box cracks, Aligator cracks with crack width > 2 mm and subsidence, and holes > 50 mm deep. Leveling (P6) Damages that need to be repaired by leveling is settlement/subsidence, holes with a depth of 10-50 cm, groove depth < 30 mm.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the level and type of damage from every kind of damage on the Klakah Rejo Benowo road by calculating the rigid pavement condition index value and providing solutions. This study took the location of the Klakah Rejo-Benowo road section, Surabaya City—data analysis by calculating the Deduct Value, m, TDV, CDV, and PCI. The research results state it was concluded that five types of damage occurred in Jalan Klakah Rejo-Benowo, Surabaya City. The types of damage are Grooves, Patches, Alligator Cracks, Weathering and Loose Granules, and Pits. Damage caused by high rainfall conditions (> 900mm/year) & Daily Traffic Volume exceeds the provisions of the Binamarga. After analysis, it shows that the road pavement is in Moderate/Fair condition; field analysis results and values calculated using the PCI (Pavement Index Condition) method for damaged road conditions can provide recommendations for road repairs using the Asphalt Institute MS-17 method, namely patching and resurfacing. Based on the analysis of the road condition values obtained, the solution must be patched and re-coated so that water does not quickly seep into the road layer, which causes more severe road damage.

Abstract

Abstract

Pergerakan penduduk Surabaya-Malang dan sebaliknya menjadi pergerakan dominan, sehingga peningkatan kepadatan lalu lintas antar kedua kota yang akhirnya tidak terhindarkan. Tersedianya transportasi publik menjadi sebuah alternatif permasalahan tersebut, salah satunya adalah kereta api. Kereta Api Commuter Line Penataran merupakan kereta api lokal yang melayani pergerakan Surabaya-Blitar melalui Malang dan sebaliknya dengan titik 15 stasiun pemberhentian. Namun dalam operasional kereta api sering kali ditemukan permasalahan seperti keterlambatan, serta penumpukan penumpang di jam sibuk (peak hour). Dengan demikian, guna meningkatkan minat masyarakat dalam menggunakan transportasi publik diperlukan evaluasi terhadap kinerja operasional. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kinerja operasional Kereta Api Commuter Line Penataran. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kinerja operasional yang meliputi analisis faktor muat (load factor), waktu tempuh (travel time), serta waktu henti. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata faktor muat tertinggi yaitu 73,98%, kemudian untuk waktu tempuh tercepat pada NOKA 431 yaitu 3,81% dari waktu tempuh terjadwal, dan waktu henti tercatat antara 2-17 menit.

Abstract

Jalan yakni hal penting dalam proses pendistribusian barang di sektor industri. Jalan yang baik akan mampu mempercepat proses tersebut dari tempat satu ke tempat yang lain. Study kasus Jalan Raya Kepadangan terletak di kecamatan Tulangan, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. jalan ini penghubung antar kecamatan Tulangan dengan Kecamatan Krembung. Sekaligus alternatif jalan penghubung antara Kabupaten Sidoarjo dengan Kabupaten Mojokerto. Jalan ini memiliki panjang 3 km dan lebar 4,5 m. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah observasi atau survei secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kerusakan yang terjadi pada Jl. Raya Kepadangan Tulangan Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian ini di Jl. Raya Kepadangan Tulangan Sidoarjo dari STA 0+000 – 3+000 menggunakan metode Pavement Condition Index ditemukan beberapa jenis kerusakan yakni retak kulit total kerusakan 333,99 m² (19,83%), kegemukan total kerusakan 12,69 m² (0,75%), retak blok total kerusakan 575,88 m² (34,19%), amblas total kerusakan 9,90 m² (0,59%), retak pingir 285,59 m² (16,95%), lubang total kerusakan 16,56 m² (0,98%), alur total kerusakan 3,15 m² (0,19%) tambalan total kerusakan 310,43 m² (18,43%), bahu jalan turun total kerusakan 2,80 m² (0,17%), retak memanjang melintang total kerusakan 123,28 m² (7,32%), pelapukan butiran lepas total kerusakan 10,28 m² (0,61%).
