Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Macromedia Flash-based learning media to improve the numeracy ability of grade 1 students. The population in this study were 30 students of Class 1 at SDN Bina Harapan as an experimental group and 30 students at Class 1 at SDN 1 Sudimampir as a control group. This research is an experimental research using Quasi Experiment design. The technique in collecting data uses the method of observation, tests, and documentation. The analysis used is a non-parametric test using the man Whitney test. The results of the Mann Whitney analysis on the pretest data obtained the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.532 > significance level a = 0.05 so that the initial abilities of students to count in the experimental class and the control class is the same while the results of the Mann Whitney analysis on posttest data obtained Asymp values. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.005 < of the significance level a = 0.05 so that the final abilities of students are different. So, Macromedia Flash 8 based learning media significant influence on elementary students' numeracy skills

Abstract

This research was conducted in general with the aim of analyzing the 7 poe atikan of character education in elementary schools (SD) in an effort to prevent corrupt behavior in elementary school children. The specific purpose of this study was to find out all students who know about corruption in elementary school age children and to know the impact of character education on corrupt behavior among elementary school students. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with instruments used in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The subjects in this study were 30 students of grade V SDN 8 Ciseureuh Kahuripan Pajajaran. The results of this study indicate that grade V students have seen several activities in daily life including positive and negative attitudes related to corrupt behavior and character education which have a positive impact on students 'understanding related to students' understanding of corrupt behavior and methods. avoid the behavior. The conclusion from this research is that 7 points of character education can have a positive impact in preventing corrupt behavior among elementary school students.

Abstract

Movable Book Local Wisdom-Based as Teaching Material to Increase Nationalism in the 21st Century. Objectives: This research investigates the effectiveness of movable book local wisdom based as a teaching material in improving students’ nationalism. Methods: Quasi-experiment was used with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study is the fourth-grade primary students. The data were measured using n-gain and independent t-test. Findings: The result shows that the n-gain of students’ nationalism in the experimental classes 1 and 2 were higher than the control class, such as 0.40, 0.39, and 0.29, with a moderate category for experimental classes and a low category for control class. Moreover, t-test results also showed that the value (p) was 0.000, which ≤ 0.05, so it significantly differences in students’ nationalism between experimental and control classes. Conclusion: Therefore, it can conclude that the movable book local wisdom-based teaching material can improve fourth-grade elementary students' nationalism character effectively. Keywords: 21st century, nationalism, local wisdom, teaching material, movable book.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i1.202205

Abstract

Students' understanding of concepts is a form of ability to master a number of learning materials, where students do not just know and remember, but are able to re-express the concepts they understand using their own language or in a form that is easier to understand and comprehend. able to apply. The purpose of this research is to determine the increase in students' conceptual understanding abilities by using the RADEC learning model in science learning. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory research design. The population in this study were all students in one of the West Bandung Regency elementary schools with a sample of 35 grade IV students. The instruments used in this research were test and non-test instruments. Data analysis techniques were carried out in a way Qualitative and quantitative . The results of this research are based on the results of pretest and posttest answers to students' concept understanding abilities. To strengthen these results, observations, interviews and distribution of student questionnaires were carried out regarding the difficulties of teachers and students in implementing this learning activity. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of the RADEC learning model can improve the ability to understand concepts in class IV students as evidenced by the sig (Paired Sample T-Test) value of 0.000 < 0.05

Abstract

This study explores the role of personalized sustainability education (PSE) in promoting learner engagement (LE) and environmental awareness (EA) among elementary school students in Indonesia. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 114 fifth-grade students across four provinces through validated instruments. Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to examine the hypothesized relationships. The results show that PSE has a significant positive effect on both LE and EA, while LE also positively influences EA. Furthermore, PSE mediates the relationship between LE and EA, suggesting that personalization strengthens the translation of engagement into awareness. By making learning experiences more meaningful and contextually relevant, PSE enhances students’ understanding and commitment to sustainability practices. Theoretically, this study advances research on personalized learning and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Practically, it highlights the potential of digital personalization strategies to increase engagement, foster awareness, and cultivate pro-environmental behaviors from an early age.
