Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh proses dan hasil belajar yang rendah pada pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV SDN 128/II Pasir Putih. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk peningkatan proses dan hasil belajar matematika menggunakan model guided discovery learning di kelas IV SDN 128/II Pasir Putih. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dasri dua kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaanm pelaksanaan pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek dilaksanakan pada semester II tahun ajaran 2024/2025 di SDN 128/II Pasir Putih. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui teknik analisis data observasi dan data hasil tes. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model guided discovery learning dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar matematika kelas IV di SDN 128/II Pasir Putih. Rincian hasil observasi pendidik pada siklus I dengan rata-rata sebesar 79,5% dengan kategori Baik dan pada siklus II sebesar 90,8% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Hasil observasi peserta didik pada siklus I dengan rata-rata sebesar 61,4% dengan kategori Cukup dan pada siklus II dengan rata-rata sebesar 84,6% dengan kategori Baik. Hasil belajar peserta didik siklus I 61,5% kriteria (belum tuntas) pada siklus II 88,4% kriteria (tuntas). Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Guided Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar Matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model to improve students’ abilities and learning processes in solving mathematical story problems. The research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection conducted over two cycles. Each cycle included two meetings. The data were collected through observation sheets, learning outcomes tests, and field notes. The results showed that the CPS model significantly improved students’ problem-solving abilities. The percentage of students achieving mastery increased from 62.5% in cycle I to 81.25% in cycle II. Likewise, the learning process became more active and engaging through collaborative and contextual problem-based learning.

Abstract

The primary concern of the study is the poor learning process andoutcomes in mathematics classes for third-grade students at SDN 101/IIMuara Bungo. This initiative aims to improve the mathematics learningprocess and outcomes for third-grade students at SDN 101/II MuaraBungo by utilizing the Make A Match technique. Two meetings are heldduring each of the two cycles of this classroom action study. Each cycleconsists of the following phases: planning, execution, observation, andreflection. In the second semester of the 2025 academic year, this studywas conducted in SDN 101/II Muara Bungo. The learning process, whichincludes observations of student activities, interactions betweenteachers and students, classroom management, and learning materials,is where the study's findings are evident. During cycle 1, educatorobservations received 85.71% in the very good category, and duringcycle 2, they received 97.61% in the very good category. Similarly,during cycle 1, student observations received 66.57% in the fairly goodcategory, and during cycle 2, they received 85.31% in the very goodcategory. According to the study's findings, the percentage of studentswho completed the test and obtained KKTP in the initial conditions was34.37%, or 11 out of 32 students; in cycle I, the percentage of studentswho achieved KKTP was 66.66%, or 18 out of 27 students; and in cycleII, the percentage of students who achieved KKTP was 92.85%, or 26out of 28 students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Index Card Match (ICM) Kelas V Pada Pembelajaran Matematika Di SDN 101/II Muara Bungo, penelitian ini berawal dari masalah masih banyaknya siswa yang menganggap bahwa pembelajaran matematikan adalah pembelajaran yang membosankan sehingga siswa malas dan tidak memahami dalam mengerjakan soal yang diberikan oleh guru. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru juga masih model pembelajaran konvensional sehingga siswa kurang berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Quasi Eksperimental Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VB yang berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VC berjumlah 30 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini kedua kelas diberkan pretest sebelum mendapatkan perlakuan dan posttest setalah mendapatkan perlakuan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa data yang diperoleh yaitu pretest dan postest dapat diketahui bahwa hasil analisis mann-whitney menunjukkan hasil nilai pretest bahwa p-value dari kelas eksperimen dan kontrol  0,051 yang menyatakan lebih besar dari pada 0,05, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa Ha ditolah dan Ho diterima sedangkan hasil nilai postest bahwa p-value dari kelas eksperimen dan kontrol  0,000 yang menyatakan lebih kecil dari pada 0,05, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak yang artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil pretest dan postest dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

The results of initial observations show that students' learning outcomes, especially in mathematics learning, are still relatively low. One of the main causes is the learning approach that is still one-way and does not involve active student participation. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the influence  of the cooperative learning model  of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by snakes and ladders on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The method used was an experiment with a Quasi Experimental Design research design, using the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of the study were grade IV students in one of the elementary schools, namely class IV B as an experimental class and class IV C as a control class. Data was obtained through multiple-choice tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The results showed that the average posttest of the experimental class was 59.03, higher than the control class which was only 53.22. The Paired Sample Test produced a significance value of 0.042 < 0.05, which shows the influence of the use of the TGT model on learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the results of the Independent Sample T-Test of 0.010 < 0.05 proved that there was a significant difference between the two classes. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of a snake-and-ladder-based TGT type Collaborative models can improve students' math results. This study recommends the application of this learning model, especially in flat building materials in mathematics subjects.

Abstract

General Background: Mathematics is a fundamental subject that supports the development of logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, yet it often poses difficulties for elementary students, resulting in low motivation and learning outcomes. Specific Background: Observations at grade VI of SDN 91/VI Rantau Panjang revealed that traditional teaching methods led to low participation, lack of collaboration, and 75% of students scoring below the minimum mastery criteria. Knowledge Gap: While previous studies confirm the effectiveness of Think Pair Share (TPS), limited evidence exists on its adaptation to the unique characteristics of grade VI learners in rural primary schools. Aims: This study aimed to improve student learning processes and outcomes in mathematics through the implementation of a modified TPS cooperative learning model. Results: Conducted as classroom action research in two cycles, the study showed significant improvements: teacher performance increased from 80% to 100%, student participation rose from 75% to 93.75%, and learning mastery improved from 75% to 93.75%. Novelty: The research introduced contextual modifications to the TPS model, such as flexible grouping, adjusted discussion time, and task variations aligned with the curriculum, which enhanced student engagement and comprehension. Implications: The findings demonstrate that TPS not only improves mathematical achievement but also fosters collaborative learning environments, offering a scalable strategy for broader application in primary education. Highlights: TPS increased participation and mastery in mathematics learning. Teacher performance and student collaboration improved significantly. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low student participation and suboptimal learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject for Grade V students at SDN 130/II Pasir Putih. The learning process tended to be monotonous as it relied solely on textbooks, without the support of engaging instructional media. To address this issue, the study aimed to improve the learning process and student outcomes by implementing the cooperative learning model of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type assisted by animation media. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings, covering the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 20 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through teacher and student activity observations, as well as learning outcome tests, and analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in both the learning process and outcomes. Teacher activity observation scores increased from 76% in the first cycle to 95.8% in the second cycle. Student activity also improved from 70.8% to 91.7%. Furthermore, the number of students who achieved a score of ≥70 increased from 12 students (60%) in the first cycle to 17 students (85%) in the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Numbered Heads Together model assisted by animation media is effective in enhancing the quality of the learning process and outcomes in Pancasila Education

Abstract

       Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada siswa kelas V SDN 94/II Muara Bungo yang dilatar belakangi observasi awal yang menunjukan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, dapat dilihat berdasarkan nilai rata-rata hasil tes ulangan harian siswa pada pokok bahasan KPK dan FPB yaitu 60. Rata-rata nilai tersebut masih di bawah kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) yang ditetapkan sekolah yaitu 70. Hal ini menunjukkan masih rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi KPK dan FPB. Oleh karena itu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa adalah model pembelajaran Course Review Horay Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model Course Review Horay dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus melalui penerapan model Course Review Horay pada materi KPK dan FPB.      Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas V SDN 94/II Muara Bungo yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif berupa lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model Course Review Horay dan lembar angket motivasi siswa. Sedangkan data kuantitatif berupa data yang diperoleh dari 1) persentase keterlaksanaan model Course Review Horay yang diperoleh dari jumlah jawaban Ya dan Tidak pada lembar observasi, 2) persentase motivasi belajar siswa dan 3) peningkatan hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari N-gain hasil pretest dan posttest hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model Course Review Horay.       Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini antara lain: 1) keterlaksanaan model Course Review Horay pada materi KPK dan FPB berkategori sangat baik, 2) hasil belajar siswa pada materi KPK dan FPB setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan di atas nilai KKTP yaitu 70, setelah diterapkan model Course Review Horay. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 48,27 dengan peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II adalah 62,55 dengan peningkatan hasil belajar. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I, dan II 3) motivasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Course Review Horay pada materi KPK dan FPB dengan nilai rata-rata 94% katagori sangat tinggi. Penerapan 1model Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam belajar, dan dapat membantu siswa agar tetap fokus dalam berbagai situasi pembelajaran yang sedang terjadi sehingga terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of the learning process and mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri 04/II Jaya Setia through the application of the Quantum Teaching model assisted by audio-visual media. This research was motivated by the low mathematics achievement, where only 35% of students reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP) with a score of 70, while 65% had not yet achieved it. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, with instruments including teacher and student observation sheets, test items, and learning documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model assisted by audio-visual media improved both student learning activities and outcomes. In Cycle I, the average score reached only 74.1% with 60% classical mastery, while in Cycle II the average increased to 89.6% with 90% classical mastery. In addition, the observation results revealed an improvement in the teaching and learning process, where teacher performance increased from 80% in Cycle I to 84.5% in Cycle II, and student participation increased from 79.15% in Cycle I to 85.25% in Cycle II.

Abstract

The study demonstrates a significant and progressive improvement. During the initial intervention phase (Cycle I), the Example Non-Example model facilitated the achievement of the established learning mastery standard for half of the student cohort (50%). This outcome provided a foundational baseline, indicating the model's inherent potential.  Nevertheless, the model's efficacy was more definitively affirmed by the results of Cycle II. Subsequent to a period of reflection and strategic refinement based on the first cycle's findings, a substantial increase was observed as the student mastery percentage surged to 80%. This figure serves as tangible evidence that the learning model, upon adaptation and optimization, is a highly valid solution for overcoming the specific issue of low learning achievement that was previously meticulously identified in the fifth-grade class at SDN 107/II Danau Buluh.
