Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of village fund management in enhancing development, analyzes the impact of village funds on development improvement, and identifies supporting and inhibiting factors for village fund realization in Galung Village, Barru Regency. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection utilized primary and secondary sources, including the Galung Village Budget Realization Report and interviews with key informants. Data analysis combined effectiveness ratio analysis and qualitative data analysis through data organization and coding, theme and pattern identification, data interpretation, narrative compilation, verification, triangulation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that village fund management effectiveness in Galung Village, Barru Regency during 2019-2023 achieved an effective category with 100% realization rate annually. Village funds positively impacted development through infrastructure improvements that enhanced accessibility, facility utilization, and community quality of life. Supporting factors for village fund realization include clear government policies and robust technology information systems. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors encompass limited human resource capacity, adverse weather conditions, and insufficient community participation.

Abstract

Marketing of the agricultural products of the Lorong Anggrek Farming Women's Group, Bara-baraya Village is still limited to word of mouth, from house to house, especially within the Bara-baraya Subdistrict, even though these agricultural products have the potential to be marketed online, especially since the Lorong Anggrek Women's Farming Group is in the city center. Makassar. Therefore, the aim of this service is that digital marketing assistance for Green Economy-based products is carried out by creating special accounts for product promotions and orders, namely WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok accounts and Shopee accounts. Next, creative content is created in the form of flyers and videos which are posted on YouTube and social media as well as through the TikTok application. The method applied is providing assistance and training to members of the Lorong Anggrek Women's Farming Group regarding packaging, labeling and marketing through online media to increase sales of agricultural products to increase the added value of production in the Lorong Anggrek Women's Farming Group, Bara-baraya Village.

Abstract

Polongbangkeng Utara, a region in Takalar Regency, is known for its agricultural production, particularly rice and yellow corn. However, despite its potential, corn has traditionally been sold only in its raw kernel form, limiting the economic benefits for local farmers. To address this issue, there is a pressing need to educate the community on processing and marketing corn-based products through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by leveraging digital social media platforms. This community service initiative aims to enhance local knowledge on optimizing yellow corn utilization to increase income, develop applications to support yellow corn production, assist start-ups in yellow corn agribusiness, and provide training on utilizing marketplaces and e-marketing strategies through Android-based applications. Additionally, it seeks to diversify corn-based products, introduce innovative product designs, and offer interactive media and training modules for corn processing. The initiative received a highly positive response from the Biralle Kunyi farmer group and State Junior High School (SMP) Negeri 4 Polongbangkeng Utara, the program's target groups. Implemented in two phases, the program successfully improved the knowledge and technical skills of participants in processing yellow corn into value-added food products and effectively marketing them via social media. As a result, the digitalization process was optimized, significantly supporting the promotion and commercialization of processed yellow corn products, thereby contributing to the region’s economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between budget planning and human resource competencies on budget absorption rates, as well as to analyze the effectiveness of these two aspects at the Makassar City Regional Development Planning Agency for the 2020–2024 period. The data used consisted of budget realization reports and personnel data, which were then analyzed using Spearman’s rank correlation to examine the relationships among the variables. The results of the study indicate that budget planning has a positive relationship with budget absorption rates, with a correlation coefficient of 0.583, which falls into the moderate category. Meanwhile, human resource competency exhibits a very strong positive relationship, with a correlation coefficient of 0.955. These findings indicate that while budget planning plays a role in improving budget absorption, human resource competency has a more dominant influence in supporting the effectiveness of budget implementation. Therefore, improving the quality of human resources as well as enhancing coordination and the implementation of planning are strategic steps in optimizing budget absorption.

Abstract

Understanding monetary transmission mechanisms is critical for emerging open economies navigating external volatility. This study investigates the direct and indirect impacts of interest rates, inflation, and money supply on Indonesia's economic growth from 2014 to 2024, examining the mediating role of the Rupiah-to-USD exchange rate. Utilizing a quantitative explanatory design with annual time-series data from Bank Indonesia and BPS, the research applies Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4. Empirical results demonstrate a high coefficient of determination for the exchange rate (R² = 0.939) and economic growth (R² = 0.359). Findings reveal that interest rates exert a significant direct effect on growth (coef = 0.417, p = 0.003) but have an insignificant impact on the exchange rate. Inflation positively influences growth (coef = 0.650, p = 0.001) while negatively affecting the exchange rate (coef = -0.313, p = 0.007). The money supply significantly impacts both exchange rates (coef = 0.791, p = 0.000) and economic growth (coef = -0.390, p = 0.025). Crucially, the exchange rate acts as a potent mediating channel (coef = 0.894, p = 0.000), transmitting shocks to real output. The findings underscore that monetary policy must integrate exchange rate stability and liquidity management alongside interest rate adjustments.
