Abstract

The Independent Campus policy, launched in 2020 by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, aims to provide freedom and flexibility in learning for students. One of the programs implemented is the Independent Student Exchange (PMM), where students can study outside their home campus. One of the mandatory courses in this program is the Nusantara Module, which is designed to increase understanding of diversity and develop communication and collaboration skills. This study focuses on the influence of the Nusantara Module on students' knowledge and insight into Indonesian diversity, with the research subjects being 67 inbound students from the third batch of the Independent Student Exchange Program at the Muhammadiyah University of Kendari. The results show that the Nusantara Module activities, particularly the Diversity submodule, are effective in increasing students' awareness of the importance of tolerance, knowledge of local history, and appreciation of the beauty of nature and culture in Indonesia. These activities contribute to strengthening national identity and national unity.

Abstract

The state of Indonesian education is quite concerning, especially in terms of literacy and numeracy. The literacy and numeracy levels of Indonesian students are still quite low compared to the levels of literacy and numeracy in other countries. Given this condition, students certainly cannot just sit back without making any contribution to Indonesian education. As Indonesian citizens in general and as students in particular, we certainly have great desires and hopes for the advancement of education in Indonesia. The Kampus Mengajar Program is one program that can facilitate the desire of students to be involved in the process of advancing Indonesian education. The Kampus Mengajar Program provides opportunities for students to take part in advancing education in Indonesia. Through the Kampus Mengajar program, students can go directly into the field and make a real contribution to Indonesian education.

The Internship and Independent Study Program (MSIB) is a program to improve students' hard skills and soft skills. The Surabaya City Department, with its Community-Based Total Sanitation program, hereinafter referred to as STBM, promotes hygienic and sanitation behavior that is used as a reference in the implementation of STBM. STBM data collection is carried out using the method applied in the Healthy Homes and Community-Based Total Sanitation data collection survey using a mixed approach, namely a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The qualitative method is carried out through in-depth interviews and group discussions to understand community perceptions and habits regarding sanitation, while the quantitative method is applied by distributing questionnaires and conducting direct observations to collect numerical data on sanitation and health conditions in each home, so that the data results are more accurate.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out by the Community Service Team in partnership with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Rejasari Village aim to increase the capacity and competitiveness of MSMEs through business development workshops. This activity is motivated by the still limited knowledge of MSMEs regarding digital marketing strategies and the low ownership of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) as a form of business legality. Therefore, comprehensive and integrated socialization and training are needed, starting from increasing understanding of digital marketing to facilitating business legality. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that MSMEs will be able to optimize the use of digital technology in marketing, improve compliance with business legality, expand market reach, and develop economic potential in a sustainable manner. This activity is also expected to encourage synergy among MSMEs in Rejasari Village in building broader business networks and increasing the competitiveness of local products.
