Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas dan pengaruh penggunaan E-LKPD interaktif berbantuan Live Worksheets terhadap kemampuan berpikir kognitif Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah True Experimental Design dengan rancangan Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan satu sampel sebagai kelas eksperimen dan satu sampel sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kognitif HOTS sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan 10 butir soal pilihan ganda beralasan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji N-gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji Independent Sample T-Test. Data nilai tes siswa setelah di uji N-gain menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan siswa setelah menggunakan E-LKPD interaktif Live Worksheets. Hasil uji N-gain pada kelas eksperimen termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan pada kelas kontrol termasuk kategori rendah. Data hasil tes siswa kemudian di uji normalitas dengan menggunakan One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data nilai tes kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Kemudian dilakukan uji homogenitas menggunakan One Way Annova dengan hasil kedua data bersifat homogen. Selanjutnya, dilakukan uji-t dengan menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan E-LKPD interaktif berbantuan Live Worksheets terhadap kemampuan berpikir kognitif Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) siswa. This research aims to examine the effectiveness and influence of interactive E-LKPD assisted by Live Worksheets on the Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) ability of high school students. The research method used is a True Experimental Design with Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique with one sample as the experimental class and one as the control class. The data collection technique used the HOTS cognitive thinking ability test before and after learning with 10 reasoned multiple-choice questions. The data analysis technique used is the N-gain test, normality test, homogeneity test and Independent Sample T-Test test. The students' test score data after the N-gain test showed increased abilities after using the interactive E-LKPD Live Worksheets. The results of the N-gain test in the experimental class are in the medium category, and the control class is in the low category. The student's test result data was then tested for normality using the One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. The normality test results showed that the two classes' test scores were normally distributed. Then the homogeneity test was carried out using One Way Annova, with both data being homogeneous results. Next, a t-test was performed using the Independent Sample T-Test. The Independent Sample T-Test results show an effect of interactive E-LKPD assisted by Live Worksheets on students' Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) cognitive thinking abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh media video animasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini yakni true experiment dengan desain penelitian “pretest-posttest control group design”. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Jember pada semester ganjil TA. 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian yakni X.3 selaku kelas kontrol dan X.4 selaku kelas eksperimen. Pada kelas kontrol dilaksanakan pembelajaran seperti yang biasa diajarkan di sekolah, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan media video animasi. Teknik analisis data memakai uji homogenitas, uji normalitas, uji independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis data hasil belajar siswa didapat nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,004 < 0,05 dengan demikian Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan dari nilai rataan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya penggunaan media video animasi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The learning process can run well when there is interaction or reciprocity between teachers and students. One of the reciprocity between students and teachers is the response. Therefore, the response becomes one of the important components in the learning process. One of the requirements for a learning process to run smoothly and achieve maximum learning objectives is the response of students. The purpose of this study was to describe student responses to the use of interactive physics E-LKPD assisted by worksheets in measurement subjects. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with data collection techniques using student response questionnaires which are distributed after using the interactive physics E-LKPD assisted by LKS for measurement subjects. The sample in this study was 30 students of class X SMA Negeri Ambulu Jember Regency. The results of student responses after using interactive physics E-LKPD assisted by Live Worksheets are based on indicators, namely: the format indicator is 81%, the relevance indicator is 82%, the confidence indicator is 73%, and the interest indicator is 75%. The average result of student responses from all statements is 79% which means it is in the good or positive category.

Abstract

Technological developments have a rapid influence on the world of education so there is a need for innovation. The student’s ability to solve problems is still relatively low, especially in solid pressure material. This study aims to produce educational game-based learning media that is valid, effective, and able to improve student learning outcomes. The instructional media developed by this researcher specifically focus on material related to pressure for grade 8. This research is a Research and Development study with the ADDIE research design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data was collected using expert validation sheets, student test sheets, and student response sheets. The results showed that learning media was valid and effective with an average percentage of validator ratings of 92.6% and an average N-gain value of 0.6. Referring to the results of the analysis that has been carried out, this learning media can be concluded as the learning media that are valid, effective, and able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to measure the effectiveness of STEM-based worksheets to improve scientific literacy skills based on differences in students' cognitive levels in science learning at MTs.The subjects in this study consisted of 44 grade 7 students at MTs Fatihul Ulum Al Mahfudz, Tanggul, Jember, East Java. The research design used was carried out descriptively using the ADDIE development model on Environmental Pollution material. Then the data on scientific literacy results were analyzed using effect size calculations with the Cohen's d formula. The results of the analysis of scientific literacy abilities and learning outcomes based on differences in students' cognitive levels showed a significance value of 0.006 (< 0.05) and 0.001 (< 0.05). Then the results of the effect size assessment of scientific literacy skills and learning outcomes based on differences in students' cognitive levels show values of 0.96 and 1.82. The conclusion of the research results shows that the level of effectiveness of STEM-based LKPD implementation on scientific literacy abilities and learning skills based on differences in students' cognitive levels is in the high effectiveness category and there is a significant difference between high students' cognitive and low students' cognitive in its application.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keefektifan LKPD berbasis STEM untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains berdasarkan perbedaan level kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di MTs. Subjek pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 44 orang siswa kelas 7 di MTs Fatihul Ulum Al Mahfudz, Tanggul, Jember, Jawa Timur. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dilakukan secara diskriptif menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Data hasil literasi sains siswa dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan effect size dengan rumus Cohen’s d. Hasil analisis kemampuan literasi sains dan hasil belajar berdasarkan perbedaan level kognitif siswa menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,006 (< 0,05) dan 0,001 (< 0,05). Kemudian hasil penilaian effect size analisis kemampuan literasi sains dan hasil belajar berdasarkan perbedaan level kognitif siswa menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,96 dan 1,82. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keefektifan implementasi LKPD berbasis STEM terhadap kemampuan literasi sains dan ahsil belajar berdasarkan perbedaan level kognitif siswa berada pada kategori keefektifan besar dan terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan antara kognitif siswa tinggi dengan kognitif siswa rendah dalam penerapannya.

Abstract

Indonesia is a plural country with a diverse population and culture. Cultural diversity in Indonesia can be an important capital for the progress of the nation. One of them is the unique culture in Pacitan in the form of stones that can sound like the gamelan in Tabuhan Cave. Tabuhan Cave is a karst cave located at the western end of Pacitan and is included in 33 UNESCO sites. The purpose of this research is to analyze the physics concept of sound waves on the stone of Tabuhan Cave. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. The results of the analysis obtained are the physics of sound waves in the Tabuhan Cave rock caused by the rock structure and environmental conditions. The sound of the Tabuhan Cave stones has a frequency ranging from 900-1000 Hz and the sound intensity level is around -40 to -100 dB which is measured at different distances. The greater the distance, the smaller the frequency and intensity of the sounds of the Tabuhan Cave stones. So it can be concluded that there is a physics concept of sound waves on the Tabuhan Cave stone which is influenced by the characteristics of the stone, the position of the stone, the hitting point, and the distance used. The greater the distance from the Tabuhan Cave stone, the smaller the sound will be heard with the frequency and intensity that is increasingly small too.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas hakikat sains (the nature of sains) dan keterbatasan sains (limitation of science) yang telah dikhususkan pada fisika. Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan kajian filsafat secara antologi (objek kajian), epistimologi (proses pemerolehan ilmu), dan aksiologi (manfaat ilmu) dengan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa fisika secara hakikatnya adalah fisika sebagai proses dan fisika sebagai produk. Produk fisika diantaranya adalah fakta, data, konsep, aturan, teori, dan model. Fisika sebagai aktivitas (proses) riset dan pengkajian dengan menggunakan metode ilmiah yang mengandalkan keterampilan-keterampilan proses (observasi, berhipotesis, eksperimentasi, dan sebagainya). Hakikat fisika sebagai proses ini yang melahirkan keterampilan proses sains yang menjadi keterampilan kunci atau keterampilan sentral pada penemuan ilmiah (ilmuwan atau peneliti) dan pembelajaran (guru dan siswa). Filsafat ilmu berusaha menjelaskan hakekat ilmu fisika yang mempunyai banyak keterbatasan, sehingga dapat diperoleh pemahaman yang padu mengenai berbagai fenomena alam yang telah menjadi objek ilmu fisika, dan yang cenderung terfragmentasi. Untuk itu, filsafat ilmu berperan dalam menghindarkan diri dalam memutlakkan kebenaran ilmiah, dan menganggap bahwa ilmu sebagai satu-satunya cara memperoleh kebenaran.

Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive animated multimedia learning tools that are valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes of healthy food materials. This method used research and development with the ADDIE model and designed quasi-experiments. The population of this study was the teacher council along with grade V students of SDN Tamanbaru, SDN Kebalenan, SDN Sobo, SDN Kertosari 1, SDN Kertosari 2, and SDN Model. With samples of SDN Kebalenan (N = 28) as the experimental class and SDN Sobo (N = 28) as the control class. Assessment instruments were in the form of questionnaires, written tests, and observations. The data analysis techniques used were validity, reliability, normality, pair sample t-test, homogeneity, and independent t-test. The results showed: 1) Interactive animated multimedia devices, very feasible to use and valid with a value of 93.33%. The average reliability of 92.6 in the Excellent Reliability category; 2) Interactive animated multimedia devices, very practical with the ability to manage learning in experimental classes by 94.5% and student responses by 91.2%; 3) Interactive animated multimedia devices, very effective based on independent t-test data, with the significance value of Levene's test 0.189 > 0.05. The value of significance equality of means 0.002 < 0.05. While the statistically independent t-test group in the experimental class was 75.61 and the control class 64.86. Thus, interactive animated multimedia learning tools are valid, practical, and effective to be used in the learning process of healthy food materials.

Abstract

This article discusses mathematical thinking in a deductive way. Mathematics is a branch of science that deals with abstract forms or structures. Deductive thinking is the process of drawing conclusions based on premises whose existence has been determined. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the use or application of tables can facilitate general understanding of mathematics for physics education students. The method used in this research is a systematic, explicit and reproducible review of articles to identify, evaluate and synthesize research works and thoughts that have been produced in related journals. The results of this research show that tabular representation in understanding mathematics as a means of descriptive thinking for physics education students greatly facilitates solving physics problems. The conclusion from this research is that the application of mathematics as deductive thinking greatly facilitates solving problems in mathematics or physics.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia diharuskan mampu menghasilkan output dengan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Hal ini sejalan dengan tujuan agar tercapainya Indonesia Emas 2045. Sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas akan bisa tercapai jika diimbangi dengan pelaksanaan pendidikan yang bermutu. Menurut data Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) 2018, Indonesia menduduki peringkat 70 dari 78 negara yang bergabung pada OECD. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Indonesia berada pada kuadran low performance. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan agar pendidikan dapat terlaksana secara bermutu serta meningkatkan literasi sains adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran inovatif adalah media pembelajaran digital. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan Microsoft SWAY. Tujuan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan dan menguraikan efektivitas media pembelajaran digital materi ikatan atom dan kaitannya dengan bahan untuk pembelajaran Fisika siswa SMA. Metode penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah library research (studi kepustakaan) dan survey secara virtual. Media ini dibuat melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data dan informasi, perencanaan konten, desain dan pengembangan produk, validasi produk, uji coba produk, analisis dan pembahasan, serta penarikan kesimpulan.
