Abstract

This research discusses the importance of timely, accurate, and relevant information technology services to support organizational activities, particularly in the context of radio frequency spectrum licensing services. The lack of government oversight of IT services often leads to complaints, necessitating evaluation using the ITIL framework. The study seeks to examine how ITIL V3 processes are applied within radio frequency spectrum licensing services at Balmon Palembang through a qualitative descriptive method. Findings suggest that the services have implemented ITIL V3 processes with a maturity level at level 3 Defined.

Abstract

Based on data from Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara (BSSN) in 2022, it was reported that a total of 1,950 security vulnerabilities were found in 457 electronic systems across various applications widely used by the public. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the risk of existing security vulnerabilities in the E-Office application and determine the level and impact that these vulnerabilities can cause. This research focuses on information system security, specifically evaluating the risk of security vulnerabilities in the E-Office application of the Ogan Ilir Regency. The research was conducted using the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) method with a risk rating assessment. The research process began with a literature review to gather data and information sources, determine the scope and research objectives, test, identify security vulnerabilities, analyze security vulnerabilities, and the results of the analysis. The research subject is the E-Office application of Ogan Ilir Regency, with the object of the research being the security vulnerabilities in that application. OWASPZap was used as a tool to obtain data on security vulnerabilities, and using OWASPZap, 38 security vulnerabilities were found, with 18 of them meeting the criteria of the OWASP Top 10. Our findings indicate that the security vulnerabilities in the E-Office application of Ogan Ilir Regency include vulnerabilities in authentication levels, access control, configuration, and data validation processes.

Abstract

The development of information technology has had a major impact on human life, allowing us to receive information quickly. The JDIH website is one of the efforts to provide digital-based information through a website platform that can be accessed quickly to provide information to improve efficiency, accessibility and convenience in providing public services to the people of South Sumatra Province to realize good governance. The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of the JDIH website (Legal Documentation and Information Network) in providing information services to the public. The purpose of this analysis is to evaluate the JDIH Website using Google Analytics Tools to understand the characteristics and statistics of its visitors. The results of the research and analysis that have been carried out by taking JDIH website data with the Google Analytics Algorithm within 28 days have had 2,445 views with an engagement ratio of 61.51%, visitor traffic data from organic search was also obtained, the largest number of which was 628 visitors from Google, Bing, Yahoo. The visitor operating system to access the website uses Windows as many as 418, Android 250, and iOS 47. The largest number of JDIH Website visitors is from Palembang City, which is 382 visitors.

Abstract

Social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube have become significant channels for public discourse, where users freely express opinions, including negative sentiments and hate speech. To better understand public opinion, particularly in politically charged contexts, sentiment analysis can classify user comments as either positive or negative. This study aims to analyze public sentiment regarding the formation of a special advisory team for President Jokowi, using a sentiment classification approach. The study employed a Naïve Bayes classifier to analyze sentiment from 3,000 comments gathered from Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. The dataset was divided into 80% training data (used to train the model with known sentiment) and 20% test data. The Naïve Bayes algorithm was chosen for its simplicity and effectiveness in handling large datasets in text classification tasks. The Naive Bayes classification on sentiment analysis of public opinion regarding the appointment of presidential advisors achieved an overall accuracy of 71% in classifying the test data. Negative sentiment was classified with an accuracy of 71%, while positive sentiment was classified with an accuracy of 70%. The results demonstrate that the Naïve Bayes classifier is a viable method for sentiment analysis in political discourse, although the model's performance indicates room for improvement. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on sentiment analysis of public opinion specifically related to presidential advisory appointments, an area not yet extensively explored in sentiment analysis studies. This study contributes to the field by providing insights into the public’s perception of political decisions using machine learning techniques. The implications for future research include refining classification methods for better accuracy and applying the model to other political or governmental topics.

Abstract

A web shell is a script executed on a web server, often used by hackers to gain control over an infected server. Detecting web shells is challenging due to their complex behavior patterns. This research focuses on using a deep learning approach to detect web shells on the ISB Atma Luhur web server, aiming to develop a model capable of precise detection. By training the model with labeled PHP files, malicious web shells are distinguished from benign files. The study is crucial for enhancing the server's security, preventing hacker attacks, and safeguarding sensitive data. Through preprocessing techniques such as opcode extraction and feature selection, useful pattern recognition for web shell detection is achieved. Training deep learning models like CNN and RNN with LSTM on processed data leads to accuracy evaluation using classification metrics. The CNN model demonstrates superior performance in detection, emphasizing the effectiveness of deep learning for web shell detection. The research contributes to enhancing security in web-based applications, protecting against cyber threats like web shells.

Abstract

As one of the universities in Palembang City, XYZ University has its own web server that functions as an information system in the academic and financial activities of its users. Testing of security systems on information systems needs to be done, web server security is very important to avoid destruction, data theft, data manipulation, and so on. In this study, the OWASP framework and the ISSAF framework were used and then the two methods were compared. The results of this study found several security holes that have been recommended to developers and successfully repaired. There needs to be a comprehensive improvement starting from server configuration, sanitization improvement of character input filters from users, installation of Intrusion Detection System and Intrusion Prevention System.

Abstract

Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 19 Palembang adalah perpustakaan sekolah yang menerapkan SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System), sejak tahun 2021 sebagai penunjang pelayanan karena SLiMS merupakan software open source, menyediakan fasilitas sirkulasi (peminjaman dan pengembalian buku), barcode, klasifikasi buku, statistik pengunjung dan pengunjung/visitor (data pengunjung). Berdasarkan survey awal yang dilakukan oleh penulis, menu yang tersedia tidak semua dapat berfungsi, misalnya pada statistik pengunjung dan pengunjung/visitor (data pengunjung) belum online, masih dilakukan dengan pencatatan manual, sehingga kekeliruan cenderung terjadi. Kesiapan dari fungsi sistem yang ada dinilai kurang oleh pengguna karena tidak optimal dapat digunakan. Hasil dari penelitian bahwa hubungan antara Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition dan Continual Service Improvement memberikan pengaruh yang sangat kuat terhadap Service Operation teknologi sistem informasi Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 19 Palembang. Tingkat kesiapan sistem dan kepuasan Pengguna juga dapat diterangkan oleh kelima variabel yang digunakan. Dari hasil uji tersebut dan melihat tingkat frekuensi jawaban, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknologi sistem informasi Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 19 Palembang dapat diterima dengan baik di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Data Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (PMB) merupakan aset yang memiliki nilai kebermanfaatan bagi pemangku kepentingan di Perguruan Tinggi. Ekstraksi pengetahuan dari dataset PMB dapat memberikan rekomendasi strategi sesuai dengan kondisi dan fakta yang ada. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pemodelan klasifikasi pada dataset PMB Perguruan Tinggi untuk melihat preferensi pemilihan program studi bagi mahasiswa baru. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Pre-Processing, Modeling dan Evaluasi. Dataset yang diolah sejumlah 2704 record data dengan melibatkan 5 model yang dikomparasi, yakni kNN, Naïve Bayes Classifier, Decision Tree Classifier, Support Vector Machine dan AdaBoost. Evaluasi menggunakan nilai Akurasi dan F1 Score. Hasil akhir menunjukkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 74% pada Decision Tree Classifier, Support Vector Machine dan Adaptive Boosting (AdaBoost).
