Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of students in the learning process and the low desire of students to improve their thinking skills to explore information. The purpose of this study was to describe students' critical thinking skills using the Drill/exercise method with the help of visual media in the information technology education study program. This research is a type of classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles, one cycle with two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year in the information technology concept course. The research data were collected through qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of data analysis showed that the drill/practice method with the help of visual media in learning could improve students' critical thinking skills in the information technology concept course. the results of the teacher's observations in the first cycle of the first meeting with a percentage of 75% for the second meeting 83.33% and in the second cycle of the first meeting 83.33% for the second meeting 91.66% with a very good category. The results of student observations in the first cycle at the first meeting with a percentage of 40% for the second meeting 66.66% and the second cycle of the first meeting 73.33% for the second meeting 80%. While classical completeness in the first cycle obtained the average value of students' critical thinking skills of 46.66% increased to 53.33% in the second cycle. It is concluded that the use of the Drill/exercise method with the help of visual media can improve students' critical thinking skills in the information technology concept course.

Abstract

Technological developments in the digital transformation era occur dynamically very quickly, in a short time. This certainly affects the world of education where a concept and mechanism for the learning process is needed that integrates technology with education. The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the integration of technology with the world of education being urgently needed. One form of integrating education with technology is by developing applications for Mobile Learning (M-Learning). The research was conducted using the Research and Development method with a 4-D (four-D) Model approach, which consisted of 4 stages, namely: define, design, develop, and disseminate. This study aims to produce a smartphone application for mobile learning in graphic design courses at STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo that is valid, practical and effective. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis techniques by describing the results of the validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. Based on the results of the study, the findings obtained: (1) The smartphone application for mobile learning that was developed was declared valid in the media and material aspects, (2) Based on direct observation, the responses and responses of the application users were stated to be practical, (3) The smartphone application for mobile learning after being carried out testing is declared effective in improving learning outcomes. So, it can be concluded that the smartphone application for mobile learning in the graphic design course at STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini memiliki tujuan (1) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan aplikasi Festo Fluidsim. (2) Mengetahui Kelayakan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Menggunakan Aplikasi Festo Fluidsim (3) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana respon siswa di SMK Muhammadiyah Berbah terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Festo Fluidsim sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video pembelajaran dan model video tutorial yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu Analysis (analisis), Design (perancangan), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), Evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek dalam penelitian terdiri dari Ahli Media, Ahli Materi dan siswa SMK. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang layak berdasarkan uji kelayakan oleh ahli media yang mendapatkan skor 80% dan rata-rata skor 4. 0, ahli materi mendapatkan skor 84,25% dan rata-rata skor 4,2, dan respons siswa yang diperoleh dari 2 kelompok kecil dan besar yaitu, Respons siswa kelompok kecil mendapatkan skor 81,67% dan rata-rata skor 4,1, respons siswa kelompok besar mendapatkan skor 83,84% dan rata-rata skor 4,2. Dari data hasil skor tersebut maka media video pembelajaran layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The development of information technology which is so fast and fast has brought the world into progress that is faster than previously imagined. The development of technology in the field of information by accessing the internet from anywhere and anytime. Internet technology is no longer a foreign sentence. The word website has become commonplace, because most of its function is to convey information from various parts of the world. One of the uses of IT as a form of information system is school management. The system designed is a school-based management information system at SMA N 1 Muara Bungo. The system designed is a school-based management information system at SMA N 1 Muara Bungo. This system design uses system analysis method, data analysis, system design using Data Flow Diagram (DFD) modeling language. Program coding using the Hypertext Processor (PHP) programming language. And the right data storage using MySQL. The design phase ended with program testing so as to create a School-based Management Information System for SMA N 1 Muara Bungo Using the Web. The system created can produce information in the form (schedules, modules, and class management) which can be accessed on the website.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 that occurred affected the world of education, where education should integrate information technology into the learning process. The integration of this technology has also been stimulated by the Covid-19 pandemic which does not allow the face-to-face learning process, so it needs an innovation of learning media that supports the online learning process. One of the media needed is the application of web-based E-learning learning media, where web-based E-learning learning is expected to improve the quality of education so that the desired educational goals can be achieved. The purpose of this research is to develop a web-based e-learning learning media on valid, practical and effective educational profession courses. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the developed media is a valid media with an average validity of 0.91%, and practical with a practical value of 90.00% of teacher responses and 85.75% of student responses, and effective in improving student understanding. which also has implications for increasing student learning outcomes by comparing the results of preetest and posttest there is an increase in learning mastery of 78.125%. The research target is to produce valid, practical, and effective web-based E-learning learning media. This research will be conducted in the Education Profession course at STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo, Information Technology Education (PTI) study program in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data will be analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. From the results of this development study, it is hoped that web-based E-learning learning media will be obtained (validity, practicality, and effectiveness).

Abstract

Disterupsi yang terjadi pada dunia Pendidikan pada saat ini, dipicu oleh perkembangan teknologi pada era transformasi digital atau biasa dikenal dengan era revolusi industri 4.0. dimana dibutuhkan suatu konsep dan mekanisme proses pembelajaran yang menintegrasikan teknologi dengan pendidikan. Pemanfaatan teknologi baik hardware dan software mulai marak diaplikasikan dalam bidang pendidikan salah satunya sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian Research and Development (R and D) dengan prosedur pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Desseminate). Pengembangan yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengambangkan media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi smartphone untuk pembelajaran mobile learning matakuliah Sistem Operasi di STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, praktikalitas, dan efetivitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian pengembangan ini: (1) validitas aplikasi smartphone untuk mobile learning dinyatakan valid pada aspek media dan aspek materi, (2) praktikalitas aplikasi smartphone untuk mobile learning berdasarkan pengamatan langsung, respon dosen, dan mahasiswa dinyatakan sangat praktis, (3) efektivitas aplikasi smartphone untuk mobile learning dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi smartphone untuk mobile learning dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai Media Pembelaran pada mata kuliah Sistem Opearsi.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are influenced by several factors, one of which ia a method of learning. This study alms to determine the effect of learning model Explicit Instruction on learning outcomes digital simulation class X computer engineering and network in SMKN 1 Bungo second semester of academic year 2020/2021. This research is a quantitative research with this type of Experimental research. This research conducted in SMKN 1 Bungo in March to April. Sample data collection is done by using the technique Random Sampling, where the population in this study student grade X TKJ 1 totaling 31 people and 31 people TKJ 2 as a Experimentalt class and class TKJ 1 as the control class. Based on the results of the study, the average student learning outcomes of experimental in class (81.81), while the control class (72.90). From the analysis of the test data to obtain Normal data and Homogeneous. Data analysis techniques used in this research is the t-test, The results ofthe testat significance level α of 0.05 (95% confidence level) obtained tvalue=5.623 and ttable=2.000 thus tvalue > ttable (5.623 >2.000), then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the conelusion that there is a significant and positive affect on learning model explicit instruction learning model influence on the results of class x digital simulation study computer engineering and network in SMK N 1 Bungo.

Abstract

The very rapid development of science and technology in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 also had an impact on the world of education, where the increasing use of information technology in the world of education, as well as the occurrence of the covid 19 pandemic which resulted in face-to-face learning processes could not be carried out directly, so that the learning process in Networking (Online) must do. The online learning that was carried out experienced many obstacles, one of which was the absence of a digital module that was specifically designed for online learning. So it is necessary to develop a digital module based on e-learning. The purpose of this research is to produce digital modules that can be used in the learning process through E-learning. This research is a research and development research and development (R&D). The development model used in this study is a 4-D model (Four D-Model), which consists of 4 main stages, namely, Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The research subjects were all students of the Information Technology Education Study Program (PTI) in the second semester even at STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo in 2021/2022. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest data analysis at a significance level of 0.05, the normality value of the pretest data was 0.163 which can be seen in the asymp sig (2-tailed). Because the normality value is greater than the significance value (0.163>0.05), the data is declared to be normally distributed. Furthermore, the posttest value obtained data normality value of 0.090 which can be seen in the asymp sig (2-tailed), because the normality value is greater than the significance value (0.090> 0.05) then the data is declared normally distributed. 0.000 (0.000 <0.05) means that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes before and after using the learning module through e-learning. Then if t-count <t-table, then there is an increase in learning outcomes after using the learning module through e-learning. Vice versa, if t-count>t-table, then there is no increase in learning outcomes after using the learning module through e-learning. table (-15,453<2,019) it is stated that there is an increase in learning outcomes between before and after the implementation of the learning module through e-learning.
