Abstract

Penelitian menerapkan metode pembelajaran saintifik berbantuan alat peraga untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kubus dan balok di MTs Darul Mukhlasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 28 siswa sebagai responden. Dua siklus pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil tes pada siklus I menunjukkan rata-rata nilai 78,5%, dengan 20 siswa tuntas KKM dan 8 siswa tidak tuntas. Pada siklus II, rata-rata nilai siswa mencapai 81%, dengan 26 siswa tuntas KKM dan 2 siswa tidak tuntas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran saintifik berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar. Model ini memicu minat dan keterlibatan siswa, menjadikan mereka lebih aktif dan termotivasi. Pengamatan pada siklus I dan II menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar, dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 70,6% pada prasiklus menjadi 81% pada siklus II.

Abstract

Mathematic anxiety and low student learning outcomes are problems that need special attention, especially in the field of mathematics learning. The purpose of this study is to reduce students' mathematic anxiety level and improve their learning outcomes by applying the Brain Based Learning model. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research which consists of 2 cycles, namely planning, implementation or action, observation or observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, observations, tests, and documentation. The results of this study prove a decrease in students' mathematics anxiety, where in cycle I 10 students experienced high anxiety, while in cycle II there were no students who experienced high anxiety. In addition, student learning outcomes also increased from 63.64% including the sufficient category in cycle I, then in cycle II to 87.88% with a very good category. So this research proves that using the Brain Based Learning model can reduce mathematics anxiety and improve their learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe student learning outcomes during the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) material. This study used classroom action research where this PTK was implemented in the form of repeated cycles which included: (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The first cycle was used as a basis for conducting reflection and evaluation which would guide the implementation of the next cycle. Tests, observations, interviews, and documentation were data collection methods. Student learning outcomes increased where from the pre-cycle to cycle II showed that PjBL can be a relevant and useful method in learning mathematics. Where in cycle I the completion value was 67% and in cycle II the completion value was 90%. From these data, there was an increase in student learning outcomes, thus proving that the use of the Project Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of seventh grade students on the material of Linear Equation One Variable (PLSV) and Linear Inequality One Variable (PtSLV) through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in two cycles at Bustanul Ulum Pakusari Islamic Junior High School. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed that in cycle I the average score of students was 69.3 with a completeness rate of 69%, while in cycle II there was an increase in the average score to 74.3 with a completeness rate of 74%. In addition, the activeness of students in the learning process increased from 76% in cycle I to 100% in cycle II. The application of the PBL model is able to increase the active involvement and learning motivation of female students, and has a positive impact on improving learning outcomes. Thus, the application of the PBL model is effective in improving the quality of mathematics learning, especially in PLSV and PtSLV material.

Abstract

Low student achievement in mathematics is often attributed to unengaging and less interactive teaching methods. The Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, when integrated with Quizizz, offers a cooperative and gamified learning environment that can enhance student motivation and academic performance. This study investigates the effectiveness of the TGT model supported by Quizizz in improving students' learning outcomes in the topic of social arithmetic. Employing a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, the study involved 24 seventh-grade students from MTs Al-Ma’arif Wuluhan. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality testing with the Shapiro-Wilk test, and a paired sample t-test. The results revealed a significant improvement in students' average scores from 47.92 to 82.71, with a p-value < 0.001, indicating a statistically significant effect of the implemented learning model. These findings support the use of TGT with Quizizz as an effective and engaging alternative for mathematics instruction.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi konten berbasis masalah pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI A SMAS 02 Diponegoro.  Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) adalah jenis penelitian ini.  Proses penelitian menggunakan dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.  Tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi adalah metode pengumpulan data.  Asesmen formatif digunakan untuk latihan belajar siswa, tetapi hasil belajar sumatif dimaksudkan dalam penelitian ini.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan  hasil belajar siswa.  Pada siklus pertama, 60% siswa mencapai KKM; namun, pada siklus kedua, jumlah ini meningkat menjadi 85%. Siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan minat belajar, terbukti dari inisiatif mereka mengeksplorasi Geogebra secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, strategi pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

The habit of consuming snacks that are low in nutrition and high in additives is a risk factor for stunting in school children. Lack of knowledge of nutritional content makes it difficult for students to choose healthy foods. This condition was also found at SD NU 02 Diponegoro Wuluhan Jember, where the majority of students bought snacks from street vendors with attractive appearance but minimal nutrition. This service program aims to increase students' knowledge through interactive education using ARJASS (Augmented Reality Healthy School Snacks). The activity was attended by 76 students in grades I–VI, including socialization, training in application use, practice, and evaluation through questionnaires and quizzes. The results show a high positive response: Application content 92%, accuracy 85%, display 97%. In addition, 80% of students obtained quiz scores >80, indicating a good increase in knowledge. AR technology has been proven to be effective, interesting and fun, so it has the potential to become a sustainable nutrition education strategy in preventing stunting from an early age.

Abstract

Basic math movement training was conducted with the aim of providing fun learning innovations for students while enhancing teacher creativity in teaching. This activity uses a hands-on approach through the creation of simple movements integrated with basic mathematical concepts. The training was attended by teachers and students at MIS Darul Mustofa Panti, Jember, in September 2025. The results showed that teachers gained new insights in developing interactive methods, while students experienced a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience. Thus, math movement has the potential to become an alternative, creative learning strategy and can be implemented sustainably in other schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini didahului dengan pemberian angket untuk mengetahui gaya belajar siswa. Kemudian subjek dipilih 3 siswa dengan ketentuan 1 siswa dengan gaya belajar visual, 1 siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori dan 1 siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik. Kemudian siswa diberikan soal kemampuan berpikir kritis dan selanjutnya dilakukan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, subjek visual mampu dalam menyelesaikan tahapan kemampuan berpikir kritis 1 sampai 5 indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis diantaranya yaitu interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inference, dan self regulation dengan porelehan presentase 80%. Dengan demikian subjek visual dikategorikan mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi. Sedangkan subjek auditori mampu dalam menyelesaikan tahapan kemampuan berpikir kritis 1 sampai 5 indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis diantaranya yaitu interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inference, dan self regulation dengan porelehan presentase 73,33% . Dengan demikian subjek auditori dapat dikategorikan mempuanya kemapuan berpikir kritis tinggi. Subjek kinestetik mampu dalam menyelesaikan tahapan kemampuan berpikir kritis 1 sampai 4 indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Diantaranya yaitu interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi dan inference dengan porelehan presentase 56,66% Dengan demikian subjek kinestetik dapat dikategorikan mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kritis cukup.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase the understanding of Dharma Wanita FASILKOM Jember University members regarding technology-based parenting through interactive training. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which includes identification, planning, implementation and reflection stages. The material includes digital parenting, the use of educational applications such as ChatGPT, Kahoot, Quizizz, and SUNO AI, as well as preventing the negative impacts of using technology. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants' understanding, with 70% of questions answered correctly via Quizizz and 90% via Kahoot. Participants also showed high enthusiasm in discussions and simulations, reflecting the program's success in building adaptive parenting capacity.
