Abstract

Penurunan kualitas dan kuantitas air pada mata air sering kali disebabkan oleh eksploitasi sumber daya alam oleh manusia. Penerapan sistem kon servasi kawasan mata air diharapkan bisa menanggulangi erosi, menyediakan air dan meningkatkan kandungan hara dalam tanah serta menjadikan lahan tidak kritis. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melakukan konservasi kawasan Mata Air Waeia. Tahap-tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu tahap pralapangan, tahap pekerjaan lapangan, dan tahap analisis kegiatan. Tahap pekerjaan lapangan berupa melakukan kegiatan program penanaman 150 bibit tanaman bersama masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa terdapat penambahan jenis tanaman baru di sekitar kawasan mata Air Waeia. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan konservasi kawasan Mata Air Waeia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa pada materi bangun datar persegi panjang dengan menggunakan penerapan model Pembelajaran Metematika Realistik (PMR). Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Radha, Kecamatan Bajawa, Kabupaten Ngada Nusa Tenggara Timur yang berjumlah 11 siswa dengan rincian 7 siswa laki-laki dan 4 siswa perempuan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model penelitian tindakan dari Kemmis dan Taggart. Model penelitian tindakan ini mengandalkan sistem spiral refleksi diri yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan 4 tahapan yaitu: Planning (rencana), Action (tindakan), Observing (pengamatan), dan Refleccting (refleksi). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan kegiatan yaitu tahap prasiklus, siklus 1 dan siklus II. Pada tahapan prasiklus, kemampuan numerasi siswa pada materi bangun datar persegi panjang memperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 53,45. Selanjutnya pada siklus 1 dan siklus II, peneliti melakukan tindakan dengan menerapkan model PMR pada materi bangun datar persegi panjang sehingga kemampuan numerasi siswa mengalami peningkatan berturut-turut sebesar 62,27 dan 72,09. Dengan demikian penggunaan model pembelajaran matematika realistik pada materi bangun datar persegi panjang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas IV SDN Radha.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah menerapkan model pembelajaran calistung guna meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa dengan menerapkan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Mauponggo. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengamati proses penerapan model pembelajaran calistung, dan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menghitung hasil dari program calistung efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan peningkatan nilai Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) dari pre-test ke post-test. Perolehan nilai AKM dari pre-test literasi 44 % dan post-tes literasi 80%. Sedangkan perolehan nilai AKM pre-test numerasi 22% dan post-test sebesar 65%. Selain itu proses pembelajaran menunjukan adanya perubahan positif dalam motivasi belajar siswa, keaktifan selama proses pembelajaran, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi dasar literasi dan numerasi. Hasil ini mengidentifikasi bahwa model pembelajaran calistung dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap pencapaian siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of learning, particularly in literacy and numeracy, for students with low abilities. The teaching campus program is designed to provide students with practical experience and opportunities for personal development outside the campus environment. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with subjects consisting of 18 fifth-grade students from SDK Supilape. This study aims to implement the teaching campus program at SDK Supilape. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, and documentation, with results from observations being summarized. The implemented work programs include tutoring in mathematics, interactive video screenings, reading corners (literacy trees), math posters, technology adaptation (technology transformation for learning), and socialization to prevent the three major sins of education. The stages of implementation include preparation, observation, planning, and execution. The seventh batch of the teaching campus program has proven effective in improving literacy and numeracy skills among students at Sekolah Dasar Katolik Supilape, as shown by the research findings and discussions. The role of students in assisting peers and partnering with teachers has garnered many positive responses and impacts. Various programs that have been implemented are progressing according to plan, particularly in assisting students in literacy and numeracy, such as the reading corner program and additional numeracy hours, which both teachers and students have received well. The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) results show a significant increase in literacy and numeracy skills among fifth-grade students at SDK Supilape. In the pretest, 58% of students were in the sufficient category for literacy, while 41% were in the unfinished category for numeracy. After implementing the work programs, posttest results indicate that 72% of students are now in the good category for literacy, and 60% are in the sufficient category for numeracy. This improvement indicates that the implemented program has enhanced students' understanding of the material, demonstrating the effectiveness of the teaching methods.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to find out how critical mathematical thinking abilities of students at SMA Negeri 1 Boawae are in solving composition function problems using a collaborative learning model. This type of research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. This research can be used as a reference for educators to identify the profile of students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. Critical thinking is a type of higher level thinking. Learning mathematics in the era of globalization usually uses critical thinking in solving problems, because mathematics is seen as the most difficult subject. Data collection is carried out by observation, documentation and tests. The subjects of this research were 3 students in class XI F3 of SMA Negeri 1 Boawae, one high achieving student, one medium high achieving student, and one low achieving student. Gifted students can meet all critical thinking standards and participate actively in teaching and learning activities. Students who achieve moderately only fulfill the focus on the first and second indicators, inference, situation, clarity and description on the second indicator, and can join in collaborative learning. Meanwhile, students with low abilities are not actively involved in collaborative learning and only achieve focus on the first and second indicators. The results of the research show that students' critical mathematical thinking skills in composition function material are relatively low.

Abstract

One of the concrete elements that is very important in efforts to improve the quality of human resources is improving the quality of education. However ini reality, teachers do not develop the creativity to plan, prepare, and create mature teaching materials that are rich in innovation so that they are attractive to students. Most mathematics learning activities only present problems and formulas without paying attention to the concepts embedded. The method of this assistance is delivering material on how to make Mathematics LKPD bsed on the inquiry learning model. In this case, the companion discusses the main things that must be considered before making the LKPD. Namely the objectivies of the learning itself which contains the content of the teaching material in making the LKPD that is linked to mathematics learning which is expected to be understandable for students.

Abstract

Educition is conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have spiritual, religious stength, self-control, personality, intellgence, noble morals and the skills needed by themselves and society. The low learning ability of students in mathematucs lessons is due to a lack of interest and willinness to learn, students towards assistance activity for Citra Bakti Middle School students aims to increase interest and for student in mathematics lessons. Learning assintance for students in mathematics lessons is carried out face to face and is carried out at school every mathematics lesson hour. The method used is direct observation at the Citra Bakti Ngada Primary School. The observation method was chosen to target of this activity and assintance is students of cllas VII Citra Bakti Midlle School. With the prensence of mentoring activities, students interest learn IM. This in learning about integer material increases, students response can be seen from abilities in the process of mentoring activities, students can.

Abstract

The purpose of the community service activity is to improve the ability of mathematics teachers at the Junior High School level in South Golewa District to develop teaching modules based on Ethnomathematics, through mentoring activities for teachers to develop teaching modules, and to find out the teachers' responses to the activities carried out. This activity was carried out at SMPN Satap Golewa Selatan with 10 Mathematics Teachers who are members of MGMP in South Golewa District. The approach used in this activity is Interview, Face-to-face, and direct mentoring which was carried out in July 2024. The data collection instrument used in the Community Service activity was a participant response questionnaire in the Likert scale category on a 4-point scale, namely very good, good, less good, very less good. The data was analyzed referring to indicators, namely participant satisfaction, material relevance, and usefulness. The results of the mentoring activities showed that the satisfaction aspect showed a very good response, the relevance of the material was very good, and the usefulness of the material was very good.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide real contributions to the community through various activities with the aim of improving welfare, education, health and the environment. One of the activities to improve community welfare is through UMKM workshop activities. The purpose of the UMKM workshop activity is to increase the capacity of UMKM business groups through mentoring in the management and development of UMKM businesses and to solve various problems, such as marketing problems that are not yet optimal, the availability of supporting tools that are still incomplete and the right strategy in entrepreneurship. The implementation method in this activity is field observation, problem identification, preparation of activity plans, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of mentoring activities includes workshop activities related to UMKM development strategies, in order to provide understanding and knowledge to business groups about the steps in developing UMKM businesses. The results of this workshop activity are expected that business actors and students are able to understand the material provided and are able to apply it in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how to improve Class VIII students' literacy and numeracy skills at SMP Negeri 2 Mauponggo through the campus work program teaching Class VIII using the AKM method. This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed at describing the literacy and numeracy skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Mauponggo, Nagekeo District, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The study took place over four months, from August to early December, using various data collection techniques, including interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The students' literacy and numeracy skills were measured using the AKM test method, which was administered twice: a pretest at the beginning of the study and a posttest at the end, involving 20 students as the research subjects. Based on the results of the pretest that the students have done, the results are quite good. With the number of class VIII students being 20 people who got a percentage result of 44% low. Meanwhile, for the Numeracy results, the percentage was 22% very low criteria, while the average student score on the literacy and numeracy post-test experienced an increase in the students' AKM results, namely the percentage of students' literacy results was 80% high criteria. while the numeracy percentage results students reached 65% currently. With this, students' abilities in AKM literacy and numeracy at SMP Negeri 2 Mauponggo have increased. Thus, it is hoped that the school will maintain and create programs to increase student literacy and numeracy.
