Abstract

This article discusses the business development strategy of Z Coffee & Roastery Coffee Shop. Coffee shops have become a thriving industry in this area, with increasing competition. To win the competition and achieve sustainable growth, Z Coffee & Roastery needs to design an effective strategy. Business development strategies that can be carried out by Z Coffee Maros in an effort to increase sales are first, carrying out business efficiency, and carrying out hygiene standard certification which is used as one of the advantages when promoting cafes on social media, second, namely increasing cafe promotions and services as a whole, third, namely communicating the attractiveness of the menu to consumers, fourthly improving taste quality as well as menu appearance and innovating regularly on the menu, fifthly improving service quality and existence on social media.

Abstract

Agregat adalah bahan penting yang digunakan untuk kontruksi jalan. Sungai Limbong Lando memiliki cadangan material agregat yang sangat besar yang berlokasi di Enrekang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik agregat dan kelayakan agregat pada campuran aspal beton AC-WC berdasarkan spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental yang dilakukan di laboratorium mulai dari bulan Hasil pengujian campuran aspal beton AC-WC diperoleh nilai stabilitas maksimum yaitu pada kadar aspal 5 % sebesar 1514,74 kg dan minimum yaitu pada kadar aspal 6.5% sebesar 1253,43 kg. Nilai VMA maksimum pada kadar aspal 6.5 % sebesar 16.26 %, dan minimum pada kadar aspal 4.5 % sebesar 14.53 %. Nilai VIM maksimum pada kadar aspal 4.5 % sebesar 5.30 %, dan minimum pada kadar aspal 6 % sebesar 4.21 %. Nilai VFB maksimum pada kadar aspal 6.5 % sebesar 75.98 %, dan minimum pada kadar aspal 4.5 % sebesar 65.79 %. Nilai flow maksimum yaitu pada kadar aspal 6.5 % sebesar 3.88 mm, dan dan minimum yaitu pada kadar aspal 5.5 % sebesar 3.57 mm. Nilai MQ maksimum yaitu pada kadar aspal aspal 5 % sebesar 401.20 mm/kg, dan minimum yaitu pada kadar aspal 6 % sebesar 323,86 mm/kg.

Abstract

The waste problem in Indonesia is an unresolved problem. The ever-increasing population increases the amount of waste originating from human activities, both organic and inorganic waste. Like marble waste which is difficult to destroy naturally, research is needed on the use of marble waste into environmentally friendly concrete. The aim of the research is to find out how much the compressive strength of concrete is. This research uses experimental data collection techniques or methods (testing/observation. The research was carried out with the aim that the results of replacing some of the coarse aggregate with marble fragment waste in terms of the compressive strength value of the concrete could be known. The research was designed with variations in replacing marble fragments by 50% in cylindrical concrete with dimensions of 15 cm as the diameter and 30 cm as the height, and the concrete had been aged for 7 days, 14 days and 28 days and its compressive strength would be tested. The highest compressive strength was found in the marble mixture variation of 0.5-1 cm with a concrete age of 28 days, namely 26.86.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of teaching aids in improving student learning outcomes at MA Negeri 1 Gresik. This study used an experimental method, involving two groups of students: an experimental group that used teaching aids in their lessons, and a control group that received traditional instruction. The results showed a significant increase in the academic performance of students in the experimental group compared to the control group. The use of teaching aids, such as multimedia presentations, visual materials, and interactive activities, helped students better understand and remember complex concepts. In addition, students in the experimental group showed increased engagement, motivation, and participation in class. These findings suggest that teaching aids can enhance the learning process by making lessons more interactive, accessible, and enjoyable. Based on these results, this study recommends the incorporation of teaching aids into classroom instruction to improve student learning outcomes and foster a more dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

Pewarnaan rutin histologi biasanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis zat warna Hematoxylin Eosin (HE) yang sifatnya sintentik (zat warna buatan). Disisi lain, kehadiran zat warna sintetik (buatan) dapat berdampak negatif bagi kesehatan tubuh dan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Variasi Waktu Pewarnaan Ekstrak Metanol Kayu Secang (Caesalpinia Sappan L.) Sebagai Pewarna Alternatif Preparat Tumor Mammae. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Pre-Eksperimen yakni dilakukan treetmen pada sampel yakni variasi waktu pewarnaan masing-masing pewarnaan yakni, 15 menit dan 30 menit ekstrak metanol kayu secang (Caesalpinia sappan Linn). Populasi penelitian ini adalah preparat tumor mammae dengan sampel berjumlah 27 sampel yang ditentukan dengan menggunkan rumus Federer. Hasil penelitian untuk indikator kejelasan menunjukkan nilai sig. 0.059 > α (0,05), maka tidak terdapat pengaruh variasi waktu pewarnaan terhadap kualitas sediaan sedangkan untuk indicator keontrasan menunjukkan nilai sig. 0.002 < α 0,05. maka terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variasi waktu terhadap kualitas sediaan. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya disarankan agar menggunakan ekstrak metanol kayu secang pada variasi waktu pewarnaan yang lebih banyak untuk mengetahui titik minimum dan maksimum pewarnaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan sebuah program pendidikan karakter yang bertujuan untuk mengajarkan dan menerapkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa kelas 1. Program ini memanfaatkan semangat gotong royong (kerja sama dan saling membantu) serta kolaborasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan kehidupan sosial siswa. Tujuannya adalah agar siswa memahami dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai dasar Pancasila, seperti persatuan, keadilan, demokrasi, dan kesejahteraan, serta menerapkan nilai-nilai ini dalam tindakan sehari-hari mereka. Melalui partisipasi aktif siswa, dukungan guru, dan atmosfer sekolah yang mendukung, program ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang mempromosikan budaya gotong royong dan kolaborasi. Ini, pada gilirannya, diharapkan dapat membentuk generasi muda yang bertanggung jawab, peduli sosial, dan memiliki etika yang kuat. Penelitian ini akan memantau  implementasi program dan mengukur dampaknya pada pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila siswa, perubahan perilaku, dan  perkembangan budaya sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan tentang efektivitas program dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan karakter dan mempromosikan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa kelas 1.

Abstract

Candlenut shells are an organic waste that can be used as a mixed aggregate in making lightweight concrete to reduce environmental pollution. This research aims to analyze the compressive strength performance and the effect of changes in the water absorption capacity of paving blocks made from plastic waste mixed with candlenut shells as a substitute for fine aggregate. Using experimental methods according to the SNI-03-2834-2000 standard, this research was carried out at the Structure and Materials Laboratory of the Muhammadiyah University of Parepare with 12 paving block samples. The results showed that after 3 days, the addition of candlenut shells of 0%, 10%, 15%, and 25% increased the compressive strength of paving blocks of 4,450 MPa, 4,633 MPa, 4,917 MPa, and 5,000 MPa respectively, while the absorption capacity water increases to 1.1%, 1.5%, 1.6%, and 2.0% at the age of treatment The same. The combination of candlenut shell waste with plastic waste has been proven to increase the compressive strength performance of paving blocks, with optimal results obtained by adding 25% candlenut shells. This shows that candlenut shell waste has the potential to be an effective component in paving block mixtures made from plastic waste, while providing dual benefits in reducing waste and improving material quality, thereby contributing to environmental sustainability and advances in concrete technology.

Abstract

The increasing interest of consumers in paving blocks because the construction of paving block pavements is environmentally friendly where paving blocks are very good at helping to conserve groundwater, faster implementation, easy installation and maintenance, have a variety of shapes that add aesthetic value, and the price is easily affordable. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding Polypropylene plastic (PP) pellets on the compressive strength of paving blocks and to determine the effect of adding Polypropylene plastic (PP) pellets on the water absorption of paving blocks. This research method uses an experimental method carried out in the laboratory of structures and materials, Muhammadiyah University of Parepare from July to September 2024. The results of this study indicate that the sutittusi of polypropylene plastic pellets affects the compressive strength of paving blocks. The compressive strength values of paving blocks at 28 days of curing age are 35.583 Mpa, 34.500 Mpa, 33.833 Mpa, and 33.417 Mpa for each variation of 0%, 2%, 5%, and 7%. So by looking at the results obtained above, the higher the percentage of polypropylene plastic pellet substitution, the lower the compressive strength value. While the water absorption value of paving blocks shows that the substitution of polypropylene plastic pellets affects the water absorption of paving blocks. Variations of 0%, 2%, 5%, and 7% are respectively 4.4%, 4.6%, 4.8%, and 5.2%. So by looking at the results obtained above, the higher the percentage of polypropylene plastic pellet substitution, the higher the water absorption.

Abstract

Chronic bronchitis is an inflammatory disease of the bronchial respiratory tract that lasts more than 3 months or several times in 2 years. Symptoms in patients with chronic bronchitis can affect breathing patterns, including dyspnea, respiratory frequency, depth of breathing, and oxygen saturation. Providing Pursed Lip Breathing therapy can create resistance to the air coming out of the lungs and open the airways to improve breathing patterns. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Pursed Lip Breathing therapy on breathing patterns in patients with chronic bronchitis. This descriptive, experimental research was conducted on a Chronic Bronchitis patient. Patient in the Inpatient Room of a government hospital. The implementation of Pursed Lip Breathing therapy was carried out for 4 days, where each day, there was one session of 8-10 repetitions of abdominal breathing followed by Pursed Lip Breathing therapy for 8 minutes. Data analysis was explained descriptively daily to compare the improvement in breathing patterns between pre and post-therapy values. The study results showed significant improvement in breathing patterns, including the level of dyspnea, depth of breathing, orthopnea, use of accessory muscles for breathing, and vital signs, including RR, SPO2, and the patient's blood pressure. This study concluded that Pursed Lip Breathing therapy effectively improved breathing patterns in Chronic Bronchitis patients. The results of this study indicate that pursed lip breathing therapy is safe to apply to patients undergoing treatment. Nurses can apply pursed lip breathing therapy and implement siki for patients with breathing pattern disorders.

Abstract

Dunia industri mengalami perkembangan yang semakin pesat, menyebabkan perusahaan harus menghadapi persaingan yang ketat di pasar global yang terus berubah. Hal ini membuat setiap perusahaan akan senantiasa berusaha untuk mencapai keunggulan, salah satunya yaitu melalui produk. Produk berkualitas tinggi tidak hanya menjadi penentu kesuksesan di pasar, tetapi juga menjadi cerminan dari reputasi dan komitmen perusahaan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. PT. Manunggal Indowood Investindo merupakan entitas yang beroperasi dalam bidang industri manufaktur dan memproduksi produk plywood. Saat ini, perusahaan menghadapi masalah dengan tingginya tingkat waste jenis defect dalam proses produksi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, perlu dilakukan analisis pengendalian kualitas produk guna mengidentifikasi dan mengkategorikan pemborosan yang terjadi selama produksi menggunakan metode lean six sigma. Selain itu, metode Multi Attribute Failure Mode Analysis (MAFMA) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab potensial kecacatan produk dan langkah-langkah perbaikan yang diperlukan. Melalui penerapan lean six sigma, diketahui bahwa waste paling signifikan dalam produksi plywood adalah defect, dengan jenis defect tertinggi yaitu ripping, mencapai 5.530 lembar (24,03%). Sementara itu, dengan menggunakan MAFMA, penyebab potensial defect yang paling berpengaruh adalah faktor mesin, khususnya suhu plate yang terlalu panas, dengan bobot nilai 0,345. Untuk mengatasi penyebab utama ini, direkomendasikan bagi perusahaan untuk menetapkan standar waktu yang tepat untuk proses pengepresan, sehingga dapat dilakukan dengan lebih konsisten dan efisien, serta mengurangi risiko suhu plate mencapai tingkat yang terlalu tinggi.
