Abstract

Introduction: Lupus erythematosus (LE) is a combination of various interrelating autoimmune clinical diseases. Cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) is a spectrum of typical autoimmune skin features of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). A good recognition of the typical appearance of this skin lesion (CLE) enables diagnosis and good management of SLE. Case: A 26-year-old female with SLE with acute skin lessions (ACLE) skin lesions. Suspicion of SLE became stronger when the antinuclear antibody (ANA) titer reached 1:3,200. The main therapy is methylprednisolone injection followed by a gradual dose reduction. The patient was treated for 6 days in hospital and all lesions improved. Conclusion: The patient in this case had SLE with 6 clinical domains in the EULAR/ACR 2019 criteria and a total score of 34 (>10). Earlier and more accurate diagnosis of SLE can make therapy more effective, especially if CLE is already present.

Abstract

Surimi is a processed freshwater fish product which is the main raw material for various food products, one of which is fish meatballs. The use of freshwater fish has disadvantages in terms of sensory characteristics, so it is necessary to add other ingredients. One of the additional ingredients that has great potential to affect the characteristics of fish meatball surimi is EWP. This study aims to determine the effect of EWP concentration in surimi from different types of freshwater fish on the characteristics of sensory properties, pH, and yield. The variations in EWP concentration used were 0%; 3% and 6%. Sensory testing included appearance, texture, taste, and aroma. The results showed that appearance, texture, taste and aroma had a significant effect with the best treatment of 0% EWP on catfish and pangasius meatball surimi and 3% EWP on tilapia meatball surimi. The effect of variations in EWP concentration on the pH value of fish meatball surimi did not have a significant effect. The best yield was obtained with the treatment of 6% EWP on each catfish, pangasius and tilapia surimi. The selected catfish and pangasius fish surimi meatballs were 0% EWP concentration while tilapia fish surimi meatballs were 3% EWP concentration because they provided the best meatball quality. The addition of EWP affected the appearance, taste, texture and aroma with the best treatment at a concentration of 3% EWP tilapia fish surimi meatballs and had no significant effect on the pH value, and the best yield at 6% EWP.

Abstract

This paper provides a review of previous studies in Low-Resolution Face Recognition (LRFR), specifically focusing on cross-resolution Face Recognition (FR) methods. While state-of-the-art deep learning FR systems achieve high accuracy on high-resolution (HR) images, they are generally unsuitable for low-resolution (LR) images frequently encountered in applications like surveillance systems, where faces often have low pixel counts due to capture conditions. Cross-resolution FR, which compares an HR image with an LR image, presents a significant challenge due to the distinct visual properties of images at different resolutions. The paper discusses two primary approaches to address this problem: super-resolution (SR), which is a transformative method that aims to construct HR images from LR ones, and unified feature space (UFS), a non-transformative method that maps facial features from varying resolutions into a shared feature space. This work summarizes both SR and UFS methods. Based on the review, the paper concludes that non-transformative (UFS) methods are more suitable for future directions. This recommendation is driven by their lower computational power requirements, proven effectiveness in real-world implementations such as mobile devices and drones, and alignment with current technological trends. The paper also emphasizes the need for further research using real or natural LR face images to identify degradation patterns and compare results between real and artificially generated LR images.

Abstract

RFID enables fast and accurate user identification via radio waves, while ESP32-CAM, an ESP32 microcontroller-based camera module, adds a layer of security through visual verification. Optimizing the attendance process by reducing the time required for attendance recording, thereby reducing disruption to daily activities. The RFID and ESP32Cam Attendance System Based on the Internet off things "is by attaching the RFID card in front of the RFID reader. The RFID reader will read the unique ID contained in the card. The ESP32-CAM connected to the RFID reader will receive data from the RFID card. The ESP32-CAM will process this information and record the employee's entry or exit time. The ESP32-CAM will use an internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) to send employee attendance data to Google Sheet as a storage for attendance data, such as: (employee ID, entry/exit time, and date) This allows overall attendance data management. Based on the results of the tests and discussions carried out, the tool that was made has been successfully tested and works well. From the tests that have been carried out, in order for the card to be read properly, the maximum distance of the card from the sensor is 3cm. The process of sending data to Spreadsheet takes an average of 4 seconds. The speed of sending also depends on the speed of internet access. Esp32 CAM works well in sending photos to Google Drive The author hopes that this tool can be developed further by using the website and adding fingerprint sensors and Face detection

Abstract

Lucky Finger is a new cafe on Jalan Arjuna Utara No. 7, West Jakarta, that serves quality coffee and side dishes. Adjacent to Esa Unggul University and UKRIDA Hospital, this cafe carries a minimalist concept with weekly raw material updates. Despite collecting customer feedback to improve services, the cafe faces ventilation and room temperature issues. The Word-of-Mouth Marketing (WOMM) strategy implemented is less effective in this location. To increase visibility and attract more visitors, it is necessary to install attractive banners that highlight the cafe's advantages, including color choices, easy-to-read typography, and appetizing images. This PKM activity aims to implement a new promotional strategy through banners to attract the attention of students and medical personnel from the surrounding area. The output of this activity includes the development of intellectual property rights in the form of slogans and banner designs, in order to increase visibility, attract consumer attention, and strengthen brand identity. The implementation method involved analyzing consumer visits before and after the banner installation, with an initial survey and direct observation to collect data. After installation, a follow-up survey was conducted to compare changes in visits, and responses from respondents through a questionnaire. The results of this PKM activity showed that the majority of respondents paid attention to the promotion and considered the design attractive (64.3%). The promotional design on the glass window made it easier for respondents to find out promotional information and conveyed an aesthetic message (57.1% agreed). The questionnaire for cafe workers regarding opinions on the banner, the opinions given were positive because the results were good so that more visitors came. In addition, the design became more attractive than before because before the renovation it was a little empty, but it is more visible now because of the banner.
