Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of LKS in training Integrated Science Generic Skills in Class III SD Theme 6 Energy and its Changes at SD Muhammadiyah Bayan. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The sample of this study used two classes as samples, namely the control class which opened 20 students and the experimental class which was carried out by 20 students. The research design used was the pretest and posttest groups. The instruments used are character observation, implementation of learning, and tests. The results of the study (1) the value of the character before being carried out with an average of 2.69 with good criteria and before doing 3.67 with very good criteria, (2) the value of generic science skills, namely from the pretest results with an average of 60.25 with good criteria and posttest results. with an average of 90.5 with very good criteria (3) the LKS t test analysis of the characters shows that Fcount > Ftable i.e. 2.655 > 1.73406, while the LKS t-test analysis on general science skills shows that Fcount > Ftable i.e. 12.769 > 1.73406 . It was concluded that there was a significant effect between LKS and generic science skills and class III characters in Theme 6 Energy and Its Changes.

Abstract

Small group and individual teaching is a form of learning that allows teachers to pay attention to each student, and establish a closer relationship between teachers and students as well as between students and students. This study aims to determine the ability of small group and individual teaching skills possessed by semester VI students of Primary School Teacher Education Study Program for the 2021/2022 academic year in the microteaching course. The basic teaching skills that must exist in a teacher or educator can be divided into eight types of skills. These skills play a very important role and determine the quality of learning, namely: explaining skills, opening and closing skills, questioning skills, skills to provide reinforcement, skills to carry out variations, skills to guide discussions and teach small groups and individuals, and skills to manage classes. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the type of research used was descriptive qualitative research to describe descriptively the basic teaching skills of prospective elementary school teacher students in microteaching courses involving 10 students. Data collection was done by direct observation in the form of a questionnaire given to students. Data were analyzed quantitatively and presented in tables.

Abstract

Study aims to describe the mastery of the questioning skills of prospective elementary school teacher students at the Purworejo Muhammadiyah UniversitySources of data in this study were student teacher candidates for elementar school in Muhammadiyah University. The data collection technique used is observation. The analysis used in this research is qualitative data analysis. The indicators of mastery of questioning skills include basic questioning skills and advanced questioning skills. The results showed that Prospective elementary school teacher students at Purworejo Muhammadiyah University had more mastery of basic questioning skills compared to advanced questioning skills. The data were obtained by using the observation method on micro learning activities by Prospective elementary school teacher students at Purworejo Muhammadiyah University. The basic teaching skills, especially the questioning skills, were analyzed and observed directly in the implementation of microteaching activities. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that the mastery of basic skills in teaching is very necessary, especially the skills in asking questions. Asking is a verbal utterance that asks for a response from someone you know. Responses can be in the form of knowledge or things that are the result of consideration.

Abstract

Penggunaan peta konsep digital berbasis problem solving cocok diterapkan dalam pembelajaran pada masa digital, menumbuhkan dan mengasah berpikir kritis pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Pekutan pada bulan April-Juni 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan peta konsep digital berbasis problem solving subtema sumber energi kelas III SD Negeri Pekutan, (2) mengetahui kelayakan peta konsep digital berbasis problem solving subtema sumber energi Kelas III SD Negeri Pekutan. Penelitian metode R&D menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan lima tahap yaitu analysis, design, develop, implementation, dan evaluation. Metode analisis yang digunakan wawancara, angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian: (1) produk pengembangan peta konsep digital berbasis problem solving yang dapat digunakan sebagai referensi pembelajaran, (2) hasil validasi kelayakan Peta Konsep Digital diperoleh rata-rata 3.8 dengan kriteria sangat layak dari tiga validator. Hasil validasi mendapatkan kriteria sangat reliabel. Peta Konsep Digital berbasis problem solving layak digunakan pada pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujun untuk 1) menghasilkan multimedia interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal terintegrasi profil pelajar pancasila materi pengaruh gaya terhadap benda kelas IV SD Negeri Somongari sesuai dengan model ADDIE. 2) mengetahui kelayakan multimedia interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal terintegrasi profil pelajar pancasila materi pengaruh gaya terhadap benda kelas IV SD Negeri Somongari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan Research and Development (RnD) menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 18 peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Somongari. Pengumpulan data mengunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, angket respon peserta didik, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian ahli, tes dan pengamatan profil pelajar pancasila. Analisis data dihitung berdasarkan persamaan yang telah di tentukan. Data dianalisis untuk menilai kelayakan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan multimedia interaktif. Hasil penelitian 1) Multimedia Interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal yang terintegrasi dengan profil pelajar pancasila pada materi pengaruh gaya terhadap benda untuk kelas IV SD Negeri Somongari. 2) Kelayakan multimedia interaktif sebagai berikut: a) multimedia interaktif ini layak digunakan dengan validasi ahli memperoleh rata-rata 92,87% dengan kelayakan yang sangat baik. b) kepraktisan ditunjukkan pada hasil rata-rata respon peserta didik 84,67% sangat praktis dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 90,62% masuk kategori yang sama. c) keefektifan dilihat dari rata-rata N-gain 0,74 kategori tinggi dan tafsiran persentase N-gain 74% dengan kriteria efektif serta profil pelajar pancasila peserta didik paling banyak masuk kategori berkembang sangat baik (BSB). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif ini efektif dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran sebagai sumber belajar.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran tradisional kurang menarik sehingga murid sekolah dasar sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematika pola gambar dan pola bilangan. Murid kelas empat membutuhkan pendekatan inovatif yang meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman konsep matematika abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media PowerPoint interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep murid kelas IV khususnya  pola gambar dan pola bilangan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan pada kelas yang berjumlah 30 murid dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengukur efektivitas media pembelajaran interaktif. Metode penelitian mengikuti siklus PTK yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat penelitian berupa tes pemahaman konsep, lembar observasi aktivitas murid, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media PowerPoint interaktif  secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika murid pada  pola gambar dan pola bilangan. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata murid, ketuntasan belajar, dan semangat murid dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media PowerPoint interaktif efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran matematika yang menarik dan interaktif untuk murid sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Background: Parents and teachers certainly expect children with special needs to have independence in carrying out daily life. To increase independence, special programs are needed that aim to prepare children to become individuals who are ready to be part of society. Knowledge of parents and teachers about stimulation to build independence of children with special needs is still minimal, based on this background, a psychoeducation is made related to increasing the role of parents in the independence of children with special needs so that it is hoped that new knowledge about independence can help parents in nurturing, educating, and accompanying children with special needs to become independent children. Method: This activity was attended by 28 parents of students at SLB Untung Tuah. Psychoeducation was carried out with a lecture method that lasted for 90 minutes with a discussion about training the independence of children with special needs. Results: After psychoeducation, it is known that knowledge from parents is increasing about increasing children's independence, this is known through program evaluation. Conclusion: There is an increase in parental knowledge that is the target of activities regarding training the independence of children with special needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan media English Word Card dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi pada siswa kelas 3 SD Negeri Sindurjan. Literasi merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan dasar, yang mencakup kemampuan membaca dan menulis. Media English Word Card diimplementasikan sebagai alat bantu yang efektif untuk memperkaya kosakata bahasa Inggris dan keterampilan membaca siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan observasi dan evaluasi untuk menilai kemajuan literasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media English Word Card berhasil meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan siswa dalam mengenali, menghafal, dan memanfaatkan kosakata bahasa Inggris dengan lebih baik. Selain itu, proses pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Secara keseluruhan, media English Word Card terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa kelas 3 SD Negeri Sindurjan, baik dalam aspek membaca maupun penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of an Eco-Edutainment learning media that integrates educational games, 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) materials, and the Pancasila Student Profile framework to enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, and cooperation in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study was conducted at Purworejo Private Elementary School (SDN Purworejo), Central Java, Indonesia. The population comprised all fourth-grade students, and the sample consisted of 13 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observations, expert validation sheets, questionnaires, and pretest–posttest assessments, while data analysis included quantitative descriptive analysis for validity and practicality, and the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) formula to measure effectiveness. The resulting product, titled “Exploring Energy Sources,” consists of three interactive board games designed from recycled materials to facilitate active and enjoyable learning about energy transformation. The research findings show that the media met the feasibility criteria of being very valid, very practical, and effective. These results demonstrate that the Eco-Edutainment model successfully created a meaningful, engaging, and sustainable learning experience while promoting environmental awareness and character competencies aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study develops and validates the Five Senses Windmill, an innovative edutainment-based learning media integrating local wisdom, designed to enhance conceptual understanding and active engagement among students with intellectual disabilities in Special Needs Schools. Methodology: Employing Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, this study systematically developed the media through five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Media and content validity were assessed using Aiken's V (≥0.80), with instrument reliability reaching 0.87 (Cronbach's Alpha). Three fourth-grade students with mild intellectual disabilities participated in purposive sampling trials. Data collection involved expert validation, pre-post testing, structured observations, and teacher interviews. Quantitative analysis measured validity and effectiveness through N-gain calculations, while qualitative analysis explored learning dynamics and engagement patterns. Main Findings: The Five Senses Windmill demonstrated high validity (Aiken's V = 0.91) and proved effective in improving students' conceptual understanding with moderate-to-high effectiveness (N-Gain = 64.5%). Students showed significant improvement in identifying sensory functions, increased from passive dependency to active participation, and demonstrated enhanced confidence in applying concepts to daily life. The bamboo-based media successfully integrated visual, kinesthetic, and cultural elements, creating meaningful learning experiences. Positive teacher responses confirmed the media's practicality and ease of implementation. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study uniquely combines edutainment pedagogy with Indonesian local wisdom through sustainable bamboo materials, addressing the gap in holistic, multisensory, culturally-responsive learning media for students with intellectual disabilities. The windmill's interactive design simultaneously develops cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains while fostering cultural identity and environmental awareness.
