Abstract

In the current era, learning is student-centered, allowing teachers to play an active role in the learning process and to utilize appropriate methods and media. This study aims to improve Civics (PKn) learning outcomes in Grade II on the topic of “Fostering National Unity” at SD Islam Plus Al Hambra, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research design used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population of the study consists of 12 Grade II students from SD Islam Plus Al Hambra in the same academic year. The methods employed include lectures, demonstrations, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, incorporating the Snowball Throwing game as part of the learning strategy. This study was conducted over three cycles. Data collection techniques included student activity observation sheets and test instruments. The data were then analyzed using percentage formulas. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased from 50% in Cycle 1 to 67% in Cycle 2, and further improved to 83% in Cycle 3. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of the Snowball Throwing method in Civics learning effectively enhances student learning outcomes. ABSTRAKPada masa sekarang pembelajaran terpusat pada siswa, sehingga guru berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan dapat menggunakan metode dan media yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn pada kelas II materi Memupuk Rasa Persatuan bangsa Indonesia di SD Islam Plus Al Hambra Kebayoran Lama Jakarta Selatan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Bentuk penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sedangkan populasi dalam penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SD Islam Plus Al Hambra Kebayoran Lama Jakarta Selatan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak sejumlah 12 siswa. Metode yang dipergunakan diantaranya yaitu metode ceramah, metode demonstrasi, metode diskusi kelompok, metode tanya jawab, yang dimasukkan unsur metode permainan Snowball Throwing. Penelitian ini juga tetap menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan melalui tiga siklus, Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan soal test. Kemudian data ini dianalisis menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 50% (siklus 1) menjadi 67% (siklus 2) dan meningkat kembali menjadi 83% pada siklus 3. berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode permainan Snowball Throwing pada pembelajaran PKn hasil belajar siswa menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

Higher education management must change its management model because the student's current needs in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era are very diverse and the demand from the industrial world is more specific. This situation required a new approach in learning that can meet the students learning needs, therefore, can generate higher education graduates that have the capability, not competencies. This article is compiled based on the results of thoughts supported by a literature review using content analysis based on the results obtained from 58 articles that were published between 1999 and 2020. The universities can implement heutagogy in the curriculum which is supported by the cyber-physical system in learning. This is causing the students to be able to choose scientific competence they want independently with learning across disciplines for occupying certain ability. The cyber system development in higher education is used to assist the online learning process and as an administrator in supporting learning activities. The cyber-physical system refers to the physical things and the campus atmosphere felt by the students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the paylater feature on the compulsive buying of Shopee users in Bogor City. The design used in this research is a quantitative method, called a quantitative method because the research data is in the form of numbers and the analysis uses statistics. The sample obtained was 100 Shopee users using a nonprobability sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The results of this research, (1) Simple linear regression analysis obtained the regression equation Y = 4.3442 + 0.7684, (3) The coefficient of determination is 30.36% and the remaining 69.64% is influenced by other factors not included in the research, (4) It is known that there is a significant influence of the paylater feature on the compulsive buying of Shopee users in Bogor City, because the t value is equal to 6.1833 and ttable 1.661 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Pengaruh Minat Belajar dan Kreativitas Siswa terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Minat Belajar dan Kreativitas Siswa terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik korelasional dengan jumlah sampel 60 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Minat Belajar dan Kreativitas Siswa secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa SMP Swasta di Kota Bekasi. Pengaruh yang signifikan tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig.=0,000<0,05 dan F0=45,189. Kedua variabel Minat Belajar dan Kreativitas Siswa memberikan sumbangan sebesar 61,3% terhadap prestasi belajar IPS. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Minat Belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa SMP Swasta di Kota Bekas. Pengaruh yang signifikan tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig.=0,000<0,05 dan t0=4,273. Variabel Minat Belajar memberikan sumbangan sebesar 27,6% terhadap prestasi belajar IPS. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Kreativitas Siswa terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa SMP Swasta di Kota Bekas. Pengaruh yang signifikan tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai Sig.=0,000<0,05 dan t0=4,954. Variabel ini memberikan sumbangan sebesar 33,7% terhadap prestasi belajar IPS.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Formative assessment plays a very important role in the learning process because it provides continuous feedback for both teachers and students in improving learning strategies and enhancing learning outcomes. In mathematics learning at the junior high school level, effective formative assessment instruments are urgently needed so that students' understanding of concepts and problem-solving skills can be measured comprehensively. This study aims to explore teachers' strategies in developing formative assessment instruments in mathematics learning at junior high school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with an exploratory design through a literature review. Data collection was carried out by reviewing relevant journal articles, books, and research reports, which were then analyzed through the stages of literature selection, information reduction, strategy categorization, and synthesis. The results of the study indicate that teachers use various strategies in designing formative evaluation instruments, including the use of pre-tests to measure initial readiness, formative tests in the form of essay questions or contextual quizzes to assess conceptual understanding, post-tests to review final achievements, and observation of student activities, group discussions, and problem-based tasks to assess engagement and critical thinking skills with the use of concrete media and rewards. Based on this, the development of innovative, structured formative evaluation instruments followed by remedial and enrichment follow-up is essential to make mathematics learning in junior high schools more adaptive, reflective, and oriented towards improving the quality of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap implementasi Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam evaluasi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di SMPN 2 Pasawahan, Kabupaten Purwakarta. Narasumber penelitian meliputi dua guru IPA (G1 dan G2), kepala sekolah (KS), serta dua siswa kelas VIII (S1 dan S2). PBL dianggap sebagai model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus digunakan untuk memahami secara mendalam pengalaman, pandangan, tantangan, dan keunggulan penerapan PBL. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi kelas, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama dalam penerapan PBL meliputi keterbatasan waktu, manajemen kelompok, kesiapan guru, serta fasilitas sekolah, sebagaimana diungkapkan oleh G1, G2, dan KS. Meskipun demikian, PBL memberikan keunggulan signifikan, termasuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, pemahaman konsep IPA secara kontekstual, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan literasi sains, sebagaimana dialami dan dijelaskan oleh S1 dan S2. Strategi optimalisasi PBL melibatkan perencanaan masalah yang relevan, manajemen kelompok yang seimbang, motivasi aktif dari guru, serta dukungan fasilitas dan pelatihan dari pihak sekolah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi PBL bergantung pada sinergi antara guru, siswa, dan institusi pendidikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi guru, siswa, dan sekolah dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis proyek serta mendukung tercapainya profil pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the practices and challenges of project-based mathematics learning (Project Based Learning/PBL) in a public junior high school. A qualitative approach was employed, using in-depth interviews and participatory observations, involving purposively selected informants: two mathematics teachers, one principal, and two students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion/verification. The findings reveal that PBL implementation encourages active student engagement, develops 21st-century skills such as creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking, and enhances deeper mastery of mathematical concepts. Teachers act as facilitators by preparing guides, adjusting projects to students’ abilities, and facilitating group discussions, while the principal supports the process through facilities, flexible learning spaces, and teacher training. Students respond positively, feeling motivated, confident, and more active in discussions and teamwork. Challenges identified include time management, teacher readiness, differences in student abilities, group cooperation, and limited facilities. Development strategies applied include task differentiation, step-by-step guidance, student reflection, teacher collaboration, and institutional support. With these strategies, PBL can be effectively implemented, providing meaningful and contextual learning experiences while stimulating 21st-century skills and overcoming existing challenges. This study offers practical insights for teachers and schools to optimize the implementation of project-based mathematics learning.

Abstract

Teacher performance is crucial for improving the quality of education in schools and the academic performance of students. Past studies have shown that both OCB and positive personality can have a significant impact on teacher performance. However, in order to better understand the strength and consistency of the correlation between these factors and performance, it is necessary to comprehensively integrate and analyze previous empirical findings. This meta-analysis examines the impact of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and proactive personality on teacher performance, synthesizing findings from 35 empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025. The results show that both OCB (r = 0.533) and proactive personality (r = 0.444) have significant positive effects on teacher performance, with OCB having a slightly stronger influence. The analysis reveals moderate heterogeneity across studies and no evidence of publication bias. These results strongly demonstrate the need for nuturing and it is OCB and proactive personality in schools to enhance teacher effectiveness. Practical implications include promoting a sense of organizational belonging and informal recognition to improve teacher performance outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh model blended learning dan pengaruh kecerdasan intrapersonal terhadap kemampuan metakognitif siswa terhadap materi ekologis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMA kelas 10. Seleksi sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling, memilih 4 kelas dengan total 104 orang. Data kemampuan metakognitif dikumpulkan dengan pertanyaan tes esai. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik kovarians (ANACOVA). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa model blended learning dengan kecerdasan intrapersonal yang tinggi memiliki efek positif pada kemampuan metakognitif. Sehingga siswa memiliki kemampuan metakognitif yang baik.

Abstract

This study conducts a meta-analysis to examine the effects of organizational culture and transformational leadership on teacher performance across multiple educational contexts. A systematic search was performed through ScienceDirect, Eric, Taylor & Francis, and Google Scholar databases, applying rigorous inclusion criteria for quantitative studies published between 2015 and 2025. From 1250 identified articles, 22 met the eligibility requirements, consisting of 11 studies on organizational culture and 11 on transformational leadership. The random-effects model for organizational culture revealed a significant positive effect on teacher performance (r = 0.448, p < .001), categorized as moderate, though high heterogeneity (I² = 80.18%) indicated contextual variation across studies. In contrast, transformational leadership showed a consistent and significant positive effect (r = 0.441, p < .001) under the fixed-effects model, with low heterogeneity (I² = 4.05%), reflecting stable results across different educational settings. These findings affirm that both organizational culture and transformational leadership are critical determinants of teacher performance, but the influence of organizational culture is more context-dependent. Theoretically, this study enriches the literature on educational management by synthesizing empirical evidence, while practically, it offers insights for policymakers and school leaders in designing strategies to enhance teacher performance through organizational culture development and transformational leadership practices.
