Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI, (2) untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI, (3) mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI, (4) untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI,(5) mengetahui pembelajaran creative problem solving efektif terhadap kemampuan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI dan (6) untuk mengetahui pembelajaran creative problem solving efektif terhadap kemampuan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAS YAPIM Medan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, angket dan lembar observasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik inferensial dan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran creative problem solving berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI.(2) besar pengaruh pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI sebesar 21,8%.(3) pembelajaran creative problem solving berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI, (4) besar pengaruh pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI sebesar 33,4%. (5) pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada transformasi geometri di kelas XI adalah efektif (6) pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi transformasi geometri di kelas XI adalah efektif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X, (2) untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X, (3) mengetahui pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X, (4) untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X, (5) mengetahui Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek efektif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X, (6) mengetahui Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 6 Medan Jl. Jambi No. 23D, Pandau Hilir, Kec. Medan Kota, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara 20233. Jenis  Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode ekperimen semu (quasi eksperiment). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, angket, dan lembar observasi kemudian dianalisis statistik inferensial dan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa :  Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsepdan pemecahan masalah pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X. besar pengaruh pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X sebesar 0,164%.  besar pengaruh pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X sebesar 0,210%. efektivitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan pemecahan masalah pada materi fungsi kuadrat di kelas X adalah baik

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based learning on mathematical critical thinking skills in the quadratic function material of class X of St. Paul's Private High School T.A 2024/2025. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The research population is all class X and the research sample consists of 64 students of class X. The sampling technique is carried out by random sampling technique. The instruments used are tests in the form of description questions, questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the study are seen from the indicators of effectiveness that are met, namely the systematics of learning in the good category, the communication of the teacher in the good category, the response of the students in the good category, the activities of the students in the good category, and the achievement of learning in the category is achieved. The results of the study show that project-based learning is effective on students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulties in distinguishing FPB and KPK story questions in junior high school students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document analysis. Observations are made during mathematics learning to identify students' problem-solving approaches. The collected data is analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of data analysis show that the presentation of questions in the form of stories is an effort to create a story to apply the concepts being learned according to daily experience. The difficulty of students distinguishing between FPB and KPK stories lies in the question model. The way to distinguish between FPB and KPK story problems is to plant the concept that FPB is a factor or divider, so that the value is small. Meanwhile, the KPK is a multiple, which of course has a large value and looks at the model of the question

Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential of traditional musical instruments.Keteng-Ketengas a contextual media in learning the concept of surface area of cylinders at the junior high school level. This musical instrument is known in the Batak Karo culture and has a distinctive cylindrical shape, making it relevant for use in understanding spatial figures. The research was conducted at SMPS Deli Murni Bandar Baru with an ethnomathematics approach. The method used was descriptive qualitative with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the use of Keteng-Keteng in learning was able to improve students' understanding of the surface area of cylinders and create a contextual, meaningful learning atmosphere rooted in local culture.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore students' understanding of the concept of cylinder volume through a contextual approach based on the fictional character "Gondra". Gondra is used as a character in story problems that are used as a medium to attract attention and improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and written tests of sixth-grade elementary school students. The results of the study indicate that a narrative-based approach with the character Gondra is able to improve students' understanding in determining the volume of a cylinder conceptually and procedurally. This study also shows a higher emotional involvement of students in solving contextual mathematical problems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence and effectiveness of project-based learning on students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills on data centering material in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan in the academic year 2024/2025. This type of research is quantitative research with the research population being all students of class X of SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan in the academic year 2024/2025. With purposive sampling technique, the research sample was obtained, namely classes X-7 and X-10. The instruments used were student learning outcome tests in the form of descriptions that had been validated, questionnaires to determine the achievement of effectiveness indicators, namely learning systematics, teacher communication and student responses, and student activity observation sheets. The results of the study showed that: (1) project-based learning has an effect on problem-solving skills (2) the effect of project-based learning on problem-solving skills is in the moderate category (3) project-based learning has an effect on students' critical thinking skills (4) the effect of project-based learning on students' critical thinking skills is in the moderate category (5) project-based learning is effective on problem-solving skills and (6) project-based learning is effective on students' critical thinking skills..

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning with a scientific approach to students' interests and learning outcomes in the quadratic function material at SMK Negeri 5 Medan 2024/2025. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The research population was all class X, and the research sample consisted of 64 class The sampling technique was carried out using the purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were tests, questionnaires and observation sheets. Hypothesis testing in this study used the t-test and descriptive test. The results of the study showed that: (1) learning with a scientific approach has an effect on students' learning interests, (2) the magnitude of the influence of learning with a scientific approach on students' learning interests is 73.7%, (3) learning with a scientific approach has an effect on students' learning outcomes, (4) the magnitude of the influence of learning with a scientific approach on students' learning outcomes is 89.9%, (5) learning with a scientific approach to students' learning interests is effective, (6) learning with a scientific approach to students' learning outcomes is effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning on students' conceptual understanding and mathematical problem solving abilities on quadratic function material at SMK Negeri 5 Medan 2024/2025. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The research population was all class X, and the research sample consisted of 65 class X students. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were tests, questionnaires and observation sheets. Hypothesis testing in this study used t-test and descriptive test. The results of the study showed that: (1) problem-based learning has an effect on conceptual understanding abilities, (2) the magnitude of the influence of problem-based learning on students' conceptual understanding abilities is 89.2%, (3) problem-based learning has an effect on mathematical problem solving abilities, (4) the magnitude of the influence of problem-based learning on problem solving abilities is 69.0%, (5) problem-based learning on students' conceptual understanding abilities is effective, (6) problem-based learning on problem solving abilities are effective.
