Abstract

Pendidikan dapat dilakukan di berbagai tempat, baik di kelas maupun di rumah, seiring dengan berkembangnya metode pembelajaran jarak jauh. Teknologi digital menjadi sangat penting dalam mendukung program ini. Pengaruh media sosial dapat memperkuat interaksi sosial dan memberikan wawasan terkait kebutuhan penggunanya. Digitalisasi, sebagai bagian dari kemajuan teknologi informasi, membawa dampak positif dan negatif, khususnya bagi remaja. Oleh karena itu, para pelajar perlu mampu memilah aktivitas yang bermanfaat bagi pendidikan mereka. Guru dan pendidik memiliki peran penting dalam membimbing siswa agar transisi pembelajaran jarak jauh atau pengembangan kreativitas di kelas dapat dilakukan dengan efektif. Salah satu alat yang bisa digunakan adalah aplikasi Canva untuk Pendidikan, yang dapat membantu siswa menyelesaikan tugas dan mengembangkan kreativitas di kelas. Selain itu, Canva juga bisa dimanfaatkan untuk membuat konten bisnis dan mendukung penggunaan literasi digital secara etis.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan bentuk penerapan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni budaya secara langsung kepada masyarakat melalui institusi pendidikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Program pengabdian ini didanai oleh universitas melalui proses seleksi proposal yang ketat. Kegiatan dengan judul “Pelatihan IPTEK dan Pengenalan Aplikasi E-Commerce kepada Guru Madrasah Ad-diniyyah, Kampung Tipar, Jakarta Timur” bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi para guru melalui pelatihan IPTEK dan memperkenalkan E-Commerce sebagai platform jual beli online untuk membantu memasarkan produk kreatif Madrasah. Pelatihan IPTEK dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi seperti Word dan Excel, yang bertujuan memudahkan peserta dalam kegiatan administratif serta meningkatkan keterampilan mereka. Pengenalan E-Commerce dilakukan melalui marketplace Indonesia seperti Lazada, meliputi proses pembuatan akun, pembuatan email, pembukaan toko online, serta teknik pemasaran dan transaksi produk. Metode pelatihan dilakukan melalui demonstrasi yang disampaikan oleh instruktur, kemudian diikuti dengan latihan bagi peserta untuk mempraktikkan materi yang telah diberikan. Meskipun program ini berjalan sesuai rencana dan berhasil dilaksanakan dengan baik, terdapat beberapa peserta yang belum sepenuhnya menguasai materi yang disampaikan, yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan waktu yang tersedia.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan tingkat dasar berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan dan pengetahuan masyarakat. Namun, pandemi memaksa semua kegiatan pendidikan dilakukan secara daring, yang menurunkan efektivitas pembelajaran karena kurangnya kesiapan pendidik dan peserta didik. Permasalahan ini perlu diatasi agar proses belajar tetap berjalan dengan baik meski di masa pandemi. Sebagai solusi, akan diadakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan penggunaan PowerPoint sebagai alat bantu pengajaran jarak jauh di TKIT Darul Maarif. Pelatihan ini bertujuan membantu pendidik memahami konsep dan pemanfaatan teknologi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran daring. Diharapkan pelatihan ini mempermudah pendidik dan orang tua dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran online.

Abstract

The objective of this training is to enhance the proficiency of high school/vocational high school teachers in the creation of technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor, a software that is utilized for 3D modeling, structural strength simulation, motion animation, and other engineering analyses. The Faculty of Engineering, Darma Persada University conducted this training on February, both online and offline. The training method encompasses theory, direct practice, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the training demonstrated a decrease in the teachers' comprehension of the fundamental concepts and the application of Autodesk Inventor in engineering education. The documentation and evaluation of this program can serve as a reference for the development of similar training in the future.

Abstract

This article outlines a systematic training program aimed at introducing and improving participants' comprehension of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), a fundamental element in industrial automation systems. The training employed practical, hands-on workshops concentrating on fundamental PLC principles, hardware types, programming languages, and operational procedures. The participants were vocational school educators, students, and undergraduate engineering majors. The findings indicated substantial enhancements in the understanding and utilization of PLCs in automation activities, effectively connecting theoretical education with practical industry applications. The results further illustrate the efficacy of experiential learning in cultivating practical skills necessary for meeting the requirements of Industry 4.0 settings.

Abstract

Computational thinking (CT) is a key 21st-century competency that needs to be developed from elementary school level because it is related to problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and creativity in the context of digital technology. Teachers play a central role in integrating CT into learning, but many elementary school teachers are unfamiliar with the concept of CT or its learning strategies. One effective approach that is appropriate for the characteristics of elementary school students is the CT-Unplugged activity, a computer-free activity that represents core computer science concepts in a concrete and enjoyable way. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of SDIT Mafatih teachers in implementing two CT-Unplugged modules: how binary digits work and checking product code digits (check digits), as a means of strengthening students' CT. The training was conducted at SDIT Mafatih involving 23 teachers through material presentations, demonstrations, activity simulations, and lesson plan design. Evaluation used pre- and post-tests of CT knowledge as well as questionnaires on perceptions and confidence in teaching CT. The results showed an increase in teachers' knowledge scores regarding CT concepts and binary digit/product code materials, as well as increased confidence in adapting CT-Unplugged activities into classroom learning. Teachers also produced several learning activity designs that integrated the module with elementary school lesson themes. This activity demonstrated that structured CT-Unplugged-based training is effective in building CT literacy and pedagogical capacity in elementary school teachers.

Abstract

Career centers play a vital role in bridging the gap between higher education and the workforce by helping students and alumni access job opportunities and develop relevant skills. At Universitas Darma Persada, the career center faced challenges in disseminating job vacancy information efficiently due to time constraints and limited distribution methods, primarily via Instagram. This study aims to design and develop a web-based job vacancy information system to improve accessibility and communication between job seekers and employers.The uniqueness of this research lies in the development of a role-based job portal system that integrates multiple user roles, namely job seekers (students and alumni), career staff, and employers, into a single digital platform. The objective is to accelerate job vacancy publication, facilitate job applications, and streamline employer access to candidate data.This study adopts the Waterfall methodology, including stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The final system was developed using Visual Studio Code, PHP, MySQL, and other web development tools.The results show that the system successfully reduces delays in job vacancy announcements, expands reach beyond Instagram, and provides a more structured and interactive recruitment process. Employers can post jobs and review CVs, while job seekers can apply directly and track their application status. The system has proven effective in enhancing the career center’s role in graduate employability support.

Abstract

The billboard rental process at PT Tecma Mitratama Advertindo currently encounters issues, particularly in calculating rental prices for periods outside the predefined options of one, three, six, and twelve months. When customers request rental durations beyond these standard periods, prices must be calculated manually using a calculator, resulting in delays in issuing rental offer letters. This study aims to develop a billboard rental information system integrated with the marketing division's workflow. The system is expected to streamline the rental process and enable real-time monitoring of billboard rental status. The system development process includes requirements analysis, system design, and web-based interface implementation. The results indicate that the developed system can reduce reliance on manual processes and enhance the efficiency of the marketing division’s operations.

Abstract

The growing need for motorcycle financing in Indonesia has encouraged financial institutions to improve the accuracy and consistency of their credit evaluation processes. At PT FIFGROUP, the current assessment procedure still relies heavily on manual surveys and subjective judgments, which often leads to variations in decision outcomes and longer processing times. This study aims to design and develop a Decision Support System (DSS) that facilitates a more objective and efficient assessment of motorcycle credit eligibility by applying the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Recent advancements in decision-making research highlight TOPSIS as one of the most effective multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods due to its structured approach in comparing alternatives against ideal benchmarks. Building on this body of work, the proposed system incorporates organizational criteria—such as residential status, income stability, expenditure levels, and educational background—into a standardized evaluation model.The research methodology includes system requirement analysis, conceptual and database design, and the integration of the TOPSIS algorithm into the application workflow. Through normalization, weighting, and distance calculations, the system generates a final ranking score that reflects each applicant’s eligibility. The results of the study show that the DSS significantly improves the consistency of credit evaluations, reduces subjective bias, and accelerates the decision-making process. Overall, the implementation of a TOPSIS-based DSS provides a practical and reliable solution for PT FIFGROUP to enhance the quality and efficiency of motorcycle credit assessments

Abstract

A signature is a unique identity attached to a document, playing an essential role in verification and legal authentication. Legally, a signature represents the true authorization of the document’s owner. With the advancement of digital technology, signature pattern identification can now be performed not only manually but also with the support of computer-based systems. Recent studies in digital forensics and pattern recognition highlight the growing importance of automated signature verification to prevent falsification and ensure document integrity, especially within academic and administrative environments. This research aims to develop a web-based Digital Signature Classification Information System designed for use by administrative staff at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Darma Persada. The objective is to provide an accessible tool capable of distinguishing between genuine and forged digital signatures with higher accuracy and reliability. The system applies image processing techniques combined with automated classification methods to analyze signature characteristics and determine authenticity. Through this approach, the system reduces the dependency on manual inspection, which is often time-consuming and prone to human error. The results of the implementation show that the system is able to classify digital signatures effectively and can be operated easily by administrative personnel. Its deployment is expected to improve the security, validity, and accuracy of signed documents within the faculty’s administrative workflow. Overall, the system offers a practical solution for enhancing document verification processes and reducing risks associated with signature forgery
