Abstract

There are several things that encourage the writer to be interested in examining the problems in this research, namely: The implementation of evaluations in schools is still very monotonous. At the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Karawang school, the evaluation still uses ordinary written tests, so that it makes students easily bored in carrying out learning evaluations, especially in evaluating Fiqh learning. This is evidenced by the knowledge of students who do not understand material about buying and selling, khiyar, greetings and hajr. In overcoming problems in the process of implementing learning evaluation, it is necessary to have a learning media, in increasing student learning motivation there are several media that can be used by students, one of which is using kahoot media. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Karawang which is located at Jl.Syech Quro Km.5 No.1 Plawad, Palawad, Kec.Karawang Timur, Kab.Karawang Prov.Jawa Barat. for this research was carried out from February 20 to February 24, 2023. Abstract

Empathy is part of the low character of students, therefore, education needs to strengthen empathy for each student through a habituation program that can be used as the most appropriate solution to prevent a decrease in empathy in students. This research aims to find out how to strengthen empathy through the habituation program, to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for strengthening empathy through the habituation program, to determine the impact of strengthening empathy through the habituation program, this research is located at SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection procedures used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the infaq habituation program has been implemented for approximately 8 years at SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur. In the implementation of the infaq habituation program, it has been carried out to date due to supporting factors including: 1) Motivation 2) Understanding and the basics of religion become a guideline 3) continuous 4) teamwork. The inhibiting factors are the lack of awareness in students and the non-participation of parents in giving extra pocket money to spend.

Abstract

Education is not just about the learning process for knowledge, understanding, and skills, but the substance of education is to shape human character with good values ​​that come from norms, ethics, customs, and religions. By referring to the five pillars of character found in strengthening character education in Indonesia, the inculcation of character values ​​in the education process requires an appropriate, appropriate, and effective learning model approach. One of the learning model approaches to instill character values ​​is the student-centered learning model approach or learning model that provides flexibility for students to be active, creative, innovative, inspirational, interactive, independent, collaborative, cooperative, and contextual. There is harmony between the student-centered learning approach and character education because both instill and foster good character values. The methods used to support the learning process referred to are discussion, problem-based, and project-based methods. Based on that, this research is a development (research and development) that starts from the process of developing, collaborating, and perfecting the learning model between the values ​​of strengthening character education and the student-centered learning approach at MKWU-PAI in Public Universities.

Abstract

Program NgabuburIT merupakan program tahunan Relawan TIK Karawang yang diselenggarakan setiap bulan Ramadan. Program ini menitikberatkan pada edukasi bagi masyarakat Karawang tentang empat pilar literasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya khazanah strategi edukasi etika digital bagi masyarakat Karawang, khususnya ketika momen Ramadan melalui literasi digital berbasis Al-Qur’an. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui survei kepada peserta program NgabuburIT serta studi pustaka relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan tentang etika digital di masyarakat masih rendah karena belum mampu menyaring berita hoax serta berpotensi tetap menyebarluaskan berita hoax. Untuk itu, strategi literasi digital berbasis Al-Qur’an dapat dijadikan materi edukasi dalam menguatkan mentalitas dan cara bersikap di era disrupsi teknologi.

Abstract

Abstract Character education is not a process of memorizing exam questions, and answering techniques. Character education requires habituation, because characters are not formed instantly, but must be trained seriously and proportionally. Al-Qur'an as a source of ethics and morals certainly has its own views related to character education. The concept of Islamic character values is the basic concept of Islam, namely religion that leads humans to become civilized or morality (ihsan), and it is stated directly by the Messenger of Allah, that he was sent to perfect morality. To be a human being who has a moral mercy must start from the learning process (iqra). From the results of learning that humans can trust (iman) because their knowledge is not because they go along (taqlid), because proof of faith is spoken orally, believed in the heart, practiced through the actions of the limbs. Furthermore, the implementation of faith is Taqwa which means fear of God based on consciousness by doing all His commands and avoiding all His prohibitions and fear of falling into sinful acts. Therefore the ultimate goal of Islamic character values is taqwa in the form of moral mercy. Keywords: Concept of Character Values, Islamic Character, Human Civilization Abstrak Pendidikan karakter bukanlah sebuah proses menghafal materi soal ujian, dan teknik-teknik menjawabnya. Pendidikan karakter memerlukan pembiasaan, karena karakter tidak terbentuk secara instan, tapi harus dilatih secara serius dan proporsional. Al-Qur’an sebagai sumber etika dan moral tentu memiliki pandangan tersendiri terkait dengan pendidikan karakter. Konsep nilai-nilai karakter islami adalah konsep dasar dari agama islam itu sendiri yaitu agama yang menuntun manusia menjadi beradab atau berakhlak karimah (ihsan), dan itu dinyatakan langsung oleh rasulullah saw, bahwa beliau diutus untuk menyempurnakan akhlak. Untuk menjadi manusia yang berakhlak karimah harus yang dimulai dari proses belajar (iqra). Dari hasil belajar itulah manusia dapat mempercayai (beriman) karena ilmunya bukan karena ikut-ikutan (taqlid), karena bukti iman adalah diucapkan dengan lisan, diyakini dalam hati, diamalkan lewat perbuatan anggota badan. Selanjutnya implementasi iman itu adalah Taqwa yang berarti takut kepada Allah berdasarkan kesadaran dengan mengerjakan segala perintah-Nya dan menjauhi segala larangan-Nya serta takut terjerumus dalam perbuatan dosa. Oleh karenanya tujuan akhir dari nilai-nilai karakter islami adalah taqwa yang berupa akhlak karimah. Kata Kunci: Konsep Nilai-nilai Karakter, Karakter Islami, Peradaban Manusia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of community empowerment through entrepreneurship training and guidance in improving the entrepreneurial competence and economic self-sufficiency of individuals living in Karawang Regency. The research methodology uses a mixed-method approach characterised by a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected through a pretest-posttest design with entrepreneurship training participants across various CLCs, while qualitative data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Quantitative analysis was conducted using paired t-tests, N-Gain assessments, and effect size calculations (Cohen’s d), while the qualitative study followed Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The analysis showed a statistically significant increase across all dimensions of entrepreneurial ability, including managerial, conceptual, interpersonal, decision-making, and time management competencies. The participants’ average scores increased from the low category in the pretest to the exceptional category in the posttest. The N-Gain value is high (≥0.86), and the effect size indicates a substantial impact (Cohen's d > 0.80), suggesting the model’s significant effectiveness. Qualitative findings reinforce the importance of participatory engagement and continuous guidance in promoting greater business autonomy, improved decision-making capacity, and the sustainability of entrepreneurial efforts. Collectively, these findings prove that the combination of systematic training and entrepreneurial mentoring is an effective and sustainable paradigm for community empowerment.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study synthesizes how Qur’anic value orientations tafakkur (Meditation), taʿāwun (collaboration), ḥikmah (wisdom), and iḥsān (excellence/creativity) map onto 21st-century competencies (4C/6C) and articulates a coherent integration framework for Islamic education. Methodology: Adopting a library research design, documents were selected through explicit inclusion–exclusion criteria from databases (e.g., Google Scholar, national portals) and backward reference screening. Eligible sources included scholarly books, peer-reviewed articles, theses/dissertations, regulations, yearbooks, and reputable encyclopedias (print/digital). Data were extracted using a structured matrix and analyzed using qualitative content analysis (NVivo/ATLAS.ti optional). “Measurement” was operationalized as code presence, salience, and co-occurrence patterns across texts. Trustworthiness was supported by expert review of the codebook, intercoder agreement targets (Cohen’s κ ≥ .70), triangulation, and an audit trail. Main Findings: The study identifies strong links between Qur’anic values tafakkur, taʿāwun, ḥikmah, and iḥsān and core 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. These connections form a practical Value–Skill–Outcome framework that translates spiritual principles into measurable educational skills, offering a balanced integration of ethical values and modern learning outcomes in Islamic education.. Novelty/Originality of this study: The study moves beyond descriptive parallels by offering a concise, Qur’an-anchored framework that integrates classical values with contemporary competency models for Islamic higher education.

Abstract

- Membaca Al-Qur'an merupakan ibadah fundamental bagi umat Muslim yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan petunjuk dan membentuk kepribadian yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur'an terhadap perilaku keagamaan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) angkatan 2020 Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto dan desain kausal-komparatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 184 mahasiswa dengan sampel sebanyak 50 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial (regresi linear sederhana) melalui perangkat SPSS 25. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur'an dan perilaku keagamaan mahasiswa berada pada kategori "Sedang". Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H0​ ditolak dan Ha​ diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur'an terhadap perilaku keagamaan mahasiswa, dengan kontribusi sebesar 15,3% sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh nilai Adjusted R Square.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Permendikbudristek No. 46 of 2023, Indonesia's bullying prevention policy, in junior high schools in Karawang Regency, where empirical evidence on policy translation at the regency level remains limited. A descriptive-qualitative approach was used. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with school stakeholders (principals, counselors, teachers) and document analysis from three pilot junior high schools in West Java. Thematic analysis was applied inductively. The findings show that bullying prevention is implemented through five integrated strategies: (1) character education embedded in daily routines, (2) establishment of school supervisory teams, (3) teacher capacity building, (4) parental socialization sessions, and (5) school-based awareness campaigns using posters, social media, and educational videos. Character reinforcement is further operationalized through Pancasila Student Profile (P5) projects and routine spiritual, literacy, and numeracy activities. While all three schools implemented the policy, variation was observed: one school demonstrated high consistency across all five strategies, whereas two schools showed partial implementation due to limited teacher training and irregular parental engagement. Nevertheless, all schools reported increased stakeholder awareness (approximately 70–85% of teachers and staff reported improved understanding of bullying indicators) and improved preventive practices, including a 40–50% reduction in reported minor bullying incidents over a six-month period. The study’s reliance on self-reported stakeholder perceptions and document analysis may introduce social desirability bias. The small sample of three schools in one regency limit the generalizability of findings to other regions with different sociocultural or institutional conditions. Additionally, the cross-sectional design captures implementation at a single point in time, precluding conclusions about long-term policy sustainability. Future research should include longitudinal designs and observational methods to validate behavioral changes. This is among the first empirical studies of Permendikbudristek No. 46 in a regency context, offering practical insights for district education authorities and schools implementing national anti-bullying policies.

Abstract

This study analyzes underage marriage in a single household in Wanajaya Village, Cibitung, Bekasi, through the lens of Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah (the higher objectives of Islamic law). It aims to identify the socio-religious factors driving early marriage, assess its impacts on the individuals and family, and evaluate alignment between local practices and the five core Maqāṣid protections: religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth. A qualitative single-case study design was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and document review involving 6 participants from one household (underage married woman, her parents, husband, and sibling) and one religious leader in Wanajaya Village. Thematic analysis was guided by the Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah framework. The underage marriage was conducted without court dispensation, facilitated by an unofficial payment to a KUA intermediary. Primary drivers included economic hardship, arranged matchmaking, and low parental education. The impacts – reproductive health concerns, psychological distress, educational truncation, economic vulnerability, and marital instability – violated four of the five Maqāṣid protections (life, intellect, lineage, wealth). The religious leader acknowledged that despite religious justifications, early marriage often leads to greater harm. The study is limited to a single household plus one religious leader, and is not statistically generalizable. Self-reported data may contain bias. Findings offer analytical insights into how procedural circumventions and narrow definitions of readiness contradict higher aims of Islamic law. Unlike prior quantitative or legal analyses, this study combines in-depth household-level fieldwork with a normative Maqāṣid-based critique, including the perspective of a village religious leader, revealing micro-level mechanisms and rationales that sustain underage marriage.
