Abstract

This study aims to find out how to increase people's income by utilizing the wealth of the village's creative economy, especially through cultural events. The purpose of tourism development research can be carried out through improving the creative economy of the community in cultural events with collaboration through human resources, relief, community products, as well as promotion through various media and planned in the event calendar. This research was conducted in Branjang Village, Semarang Regency, Central Java Province. This research is important to determine the potential of the creative economy which is the strength of Branjang Village to support tourism development. With cultural events, it indirectly has an impact on the surrounding community to create and promote creative products that can be marketed during the event. Cultural events are held indirectly to become an interesting promotional medium, because in addition to displaying various existing cultural uniqueness, it also displays various arts, culinary, crafts, natural wealth, interesting spots in the village and of course creative economy products. So that with an attractive packaging, it will give an impression to potential visitors. Cultural Event activities can improve the community's economy and the more pariwiata events are carried out, the more interest in visiting again increases, especially tourists so that they want to come back and visit the village. The visit will certainly provide enthusiasm for the community to continue to provide natural wealth and the various creative economies they have, so that the surrounding community will also benefit from the development of tourism. This research was conducted using qualitative methods using various sources including regional tourism offices, village officials, village managers, tourism managers, business actors, local communities and tourists. The output targeted in this study is published in 3 accredited journal articles in the Scientific Journal of Management and Business.

Abstract

The tourism development strategy through the digital economy in building a brand image is very important in developing the tourism industry business. The role of Marketing Public Relations through brand image is the spearhead in maintaining the minds of consumers to be loyal and different from increasingly high competitors. The reason the researchers took this theme is the importance of the uniqueness of packaged tourism to shape economic activity through the use of information and communication technology that can affect the economy. This research was conducted at Curug Gondoriyo Semarang. The waterfall is one of the new tourist attractions in Semarang and is starting to be known to the public as a neglected natural tourism, but has a unique beautiful waterfall area with a height of 15 meters and is more attractive after being laid out. then promoted. Sources of research data are primary and secondary data. This study uses a qualitative research method. Methods of data collection through direct observation to the field, interviews, questionnaires. The results of the research are marketing public relations through social media with brand image opinion leaders, carrying out word of mouth techniques, conducting events as a media promotion and an ecotourism concept approach that preserves natural resources as the main issue in human life, both economically and socially.

Abstract

Tomato is currently one of the high economic value horticultural commodities and still requires serious treatment, especially in terms of increasing the yield and growth of tomatoes. This research will be carried out by Hospitality Laboratory in STIEPARI Semarang. The material used is tomato and sugar. The method used is making tomato dates, observing the deterioration kinetics of tomato candied quality, estimating shelf life of tomato sweets and adding sugar. The results of this study indicate that preservation of fresh tomatoes into tomato dates to increase the storability of plant foods (P <0.05). Vegetable food has a high fiber content so that the physical properties of plant foods, so that with a preservation system using sugar can increase the shelf life of vegetable products. Research result Based on the organoleptic results (color) of tomato dates presented in the table, it shows that tomato dates with the addition of sugar as much as T0 (0% Tomato Dates 0% Sugar), T1 (Tomato Dates 30% Sucrose) both were still in the like category, while T2 Tomato Dates were 30% Lactose) and T3 Tomato Dates 30% Fructose) both were in the very like category. Based on the organoleptic results (aroma) of tomato dates presented in the table, it shows that tomato dates with the addition of sugar as much as T0 (0% Tomato Dates 0% Sugar), T1 (Tomato Dates 30% Sucrose) and T2 (Tomato Dates 30% Lactose) are still in the category likes, while T3 Tomato Dates 30% Fructose) is in the very like category. While at T2 (30% Lactose Tomato Dates) showed liking, and T3 Tomato Dates 30% Fructose) showed very liking. While the formula T3 Tomato Dates 30% Fructose) which shows the category of very like. namely the addition of 40gr lactose as much as 84% while the lowest lactose content was the addition of 20gr lactose as much as 20gr.

Abstract

The Importance of the Program The Government builds good habits to improve quality human resources that are applied in various sectors, including tourism. President Joko Widodo in his speech stated several factors that strengthen HR, namely healthy, smart, skilled and prosperous. The role of the tourism industry today is very important, because its role can provide recommendations to improve the capabilities and expertise in the field of tourism human resources. This study aims to analyze the importance of tourism industry players being guided online learning in competency tests, so that there is equity in improving Tourism Human Resources in Indonesia both in education and human resources working in the tourism industry. This is reinforced by BNSP allowing the implementation of remote competency assessment / testing carried out by LSP in accordance with Number: SE: 011 / BNSP / IV / 2020 dated April 3, 2020. This research uses a qualitative approach, which is an inductive approach. This type of descriptive research with case study research methods. The results showed that planning, organizing, developing, controlling the financing of competency tests require the carrying capacity of many stakeholders, so that the process can run smoothly. The success of increasing human resources is greatly influenced by the conditions of security and political stability, the carrying capacity of human resources who have expertise according to both quality and quantity, the budget used to develop facilities and infrastructure for tourism competency testing, legal policies that provide convenience, security, transparency and comfort for actors the tourism industry in the process of conducting online assessments in various regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pariwisata berkelanjutan atau sustainable tourism dinilai sebagai aspek terpenting bagi pengembangan sektor pariwisata. Selanjutnya pariwisata akan berpusat kepada manusia dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam peningkatan produk, pelayanan sesuai kebutuhan perilaku masyarakat, dan pola pelayanan di butuhkan untuk meningkatkan pada kearifan lokal yang tujuannya unique selling point. Bahkan potensi wisata lokal yang ada di desa akhir-akhir ini sangat diminati oleh wisatawan yang rindu pada nuansa alam terbuka, interaksi dengan lingkungan dan sosial kehidupan masyarakat lokal. Desa Wisata bagian dari pariwisata menitikberatkan pada keseluruhan pengalaman pedesaan, atraksi alam, tradisi, unsur-unsur keunikan secara keseluruhan dapat menarik minat wisatawan. Berkaitan dengan hal ini, Desa Cikaso yang menjadi tujuan utama untuk menjadi rintisan desa wisata memiliki keragaman potensi alam, budaya, dan sejarah. Namun, sejauh ini belum adanya studi organisasi pengelolaan identifikasi atraksi wisata yang dilakukan oleh Desa Cikaso. Kajian ini dilakukan di Desa Cikaso Keramatmulya Kuningan Jawa Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis studi kasus. Kajian ini memperlihatkan bahwa desa wisata yang ideal harus memperlihatkan konsep keberlanjutan mengacu kepada basic thinking dari pengembangan desa wisata di Indonesia berbasis atraksi dan kelokalan. Selanjutnya dapat mencapai kesiapan masyarakat dalam program pengembangan desa wisata berbasis pariwisata. Mengidentifikasi kesiapan masyarakat sebagai tuan rumah bagi wisatawan saat berkunjung desa wisata.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemberdayaan perempuan sebagai indikator peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat melalui wirausaha dan pemanfaatan model pembangunan yang mensinergikan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan (Green economy). Pemberdayaan perempuan menjadi strategi penting dalam potensi diri agar lebih mampu mandiri dan berkarya. Permasalahan muncul, masyarakat belum siap dalam penerimaan kedatangan wisatawan sebagai wisata edukasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mempersiapkan masyarakat khususnya perempuan dalam berwirausaha melalui pemanfaatan tanaman obat biodiversitas sebagai wisata edukasi. Peran perempuan sebagai pemandu wisata dalam melayani kunjungan wisatawan. Maka, metode yang tepat dilakukan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini melalui beberapa tahapan: sosialisasi, pendampingan, workshop, dan evaluasi. Mitra sasaran adalah pada masyarakat perempuan yang ada di Desa Branjang, khususnya pengelola tanaman toga. Jumlah sasaran ketercapaian 25 orang masyarakat perempuan. Hasil solusi yang ditawarkan terbentuknya masyarakat sadar wisata sekitar 100 %, terbentuknya kelompok pemandu wisata perempuan untuk kawasan konservasi tanaman obat 80%, dan pengadaan paket wisata 90%. Sehingga dapat dipromosikan kepada wisatawan, perluasan kawasan konservasi tanaman obat, terbentuknya kelompok baru konservasi tanaman obat dan pengemasan produk minuman tanaman obat sebagai usaha masayarakat perempuan di Desa dalam peningkatan ekonomi dan usaha baru yang menguntungkan bagi keluarga dan Desa.Abstract: Empowering women as a sign of boosting local economies through entrepreneurship and the application of development methods that promote both economic growth and improvements in environmental quality (green economy). In order to increase women's self-potential and increase their capacity for independence and employment, empowerment is a crucial tactic. There are issues since the locals are not prepared to welcome visitors on instructional trips. The purpose of this service is to prepare the community, especially women, for entrepreneurship through the utilization of medicinal plants with high biodiversity for educational tourism. The role of women is as tour guides who serve tourist trips. Therefore, this community service program's proper methodology involves a number of stages, including socialisation, counselling, workshops, and evaluation. The women's community in Branjang Village, in particular the manager of the toga plant, are the target partners. Fulfilment of the overall goal of 25 female community members. The results of the proposed solutions are forming a tourism awareness community reached about 100%, training a group of female tour guides to the medicinal plant conservation area reached 80% and providing travel packages up to 90%. So that it can be promoted to tourists, the expansion of medicinal plant conservation areas, the formation of new medicinal plant conservation groups and the packaging of medicinal plant beverage products as a business for women in the village in improving the economy and new businesses that are profitable for families and villages.

Abstract

Tourism is a mainstay for the development of new leading tourist attractions or destinations. Pokdarwis (Tourism Awareness Group) is a key element for the community with its strategic role in developing and managing the natural, cultural, and artificial potential of a region to become a tourist destination. This community service activity aims to strengthen the institutional function of the Batik Small and Medium Industries (IKM) in understanding the potential elements of Sapta Pesona (Seven Charms). The implementation of Sapta Pesona is an effort to provide excellent service to tourists, especially for tourism villages, so the participation of the Batik IKM central community is needed in managing the 7 elements of Sapta Pesona. The Sapta Pesona campaign aims to recognize and gain experience in developing tourism villages that have become tourist attractions, through stages of recognizing and gaining experience in managing community-based tourism products and implementing Sapta Pesona actions in the management of tourism villages.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the potential for quality tourism in Indonesian Super Priority Destinations; and (2) tourism development and improvement strategies in Indonesian Super Priority Destinations through quality tourism. This research is qualitative-descriptive research. The data analysis technique used in this research is SWOT analysis. The results of this research show that (1) the potential of Super Priority Destinations is not only to attract tourists but also to foster a creative economic ecosystem that involves local residents; and (2) the strategy for developing and building quality tourism in Indonesian Super Priority Destinations includes the SO strategy by planning tourism development and improvement through infrastructure improvements and promotions to create quality tourism, the WO strategy by offering the concept of quality tourism in super priority destinations (improving the quality of human resources) , the ST strategy through collaboration with stakeholders supports Quality tourism in Indonesia's super-priority destinations, and the WT strategy evaluates the promotion of super-priority destinations and attracting investors.

Abstract

This study is intended to analyze the effectiveness of managing room boy works directly on optimizing the quality of room service in Artotel Hotel Semarang. In the hotel industry, quality room service is characterized as one of the critical factors that has an impact on the level of guest satisfaction and customer loyalty. The room boys are an integral part of the hotel operations and are responsible for ensuring rooms are clean, tidy, and ready so that guests always feel comfortable and accommodated in a beautiful environment. This study employs the qualitative approach of research types using data collection techniques through direct observation, in-depth interviews with room boys and hotel management as well as guest satisfaction surveys. The findings indicate that the good work performance of the room boy has a great influence on providing high-quality robust service. It was concluded that trained room boys have high motivation and when they are provided with proper tools and materials good room service is possible. In this case, the room boy's performance can be enhanced by hotel management to ensure that they provide frequent training, and work facilities as well as proper and fair assessment and appreciation to the subordinates. It is the finding of this research that room boy work optimization can be done through training, management, and productivity-oriented assessments.

Abstract

Grand Maerakaca atau sering disebut Puri Maerakaca merupakan salah satu bagian dari Pusat Rekreasi Promosi dan Pembangunan Jawa Tengah (PRPP). Daya tarik wisata tersebut cukup menarik dan potensial di Kota Semarang, seperti spot mangrove viral sebagai tempat instagramable saat liburan. Puri Maerakaca adalah satu-satunya tempat wisata budaya dan edukasi yang menampilkan miniatur kota dan kabupaten yang ada di Jawa Tengah. Meskipun demikian perlu adanya strategi pengembangan yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan daya tarik wisata yang tepat untuk pengembangan daya tarik wisata Maerakaca. Penelitian ini pendekatan melalui strategi aspek penawaran dan permintaan pariwisata. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif melalui wawancara yang terdiri dari wisatawan, ahli pariwisata, serta dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan daya tarik wisata melalui aspek penawaran pariwisata meliputi aspek daya Tarik, trasportasi, fasilitas, dan kelembagaan, sedangkan aspek permintaan pariwisata meliputi harga, pendapatan, sosial budaya, sosial politik, intensitas keluarga, harga barang substitusi, harga barang komplementer. Kedua aspek tersebut saling berkaitan dan berdampak pada kemampuan destinasi untuk mampu menarik wisatawan berkunjung.
