Abstract

English is the main communication capital in international relations One way to master English to prepare generations to compete in the global market is to learn English in a variety of ways in addition to mastering and qualified English skills, teachers also need to master children's English teaching skills so that learning is not boring. There are many obstacles in conveying English with correct grammar, especially the communication of tense materials, it is necessary to continuously develop techniques and methods or techniques in order to easily learn reading skills, especially grammar and tense. Based on the results of the needs analysis, the researcher intends to develop several tenses for learning media. This study examines the use of the “Simpresent Game” for maximizing learning in Madrasah Aliyah Mambaul Ulum Megaluh Jombang, and used qualitative descriptive as a data analysis technique. A study was conducted in 2021 with a total of 10 subjects. Data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The results show that the media can influence the enthusiasm in learning tense and make them more excited in understanding the material. Through “Simpresent Game”, the students or teacher can evaluate the English learning.

Abstract

Researchers aim to develop Interactive Magic Card as a medium that is suited to learning needs. There are 2 objectives in this study; 1) developing Interactive Magic Card as a learning medium; 2) find out the feasibility of the media. This research uses the Research and Development method which was adapted from Borg and Gall. This English learning media is an HTML5-based Flash Card application that was developed to help students in mastering vocabulary and improve their Speaking and Writing skills.The results of this study indicate that; 1) the results of the material expert validation are 89; 2) the results of media expert validation are 84; 3) main field test results are 91. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that Interactive Magic Cardis suitable for use as a medium for learning English

Abstract

The implementation of this community service activity was carried out by the implementing team in Bedahlawak village, Bedalawak sub-district, Jombang district. This service activity is in the form of an entrepreneurship seminar to help entrepreneurs (home industry) to be more enthusiastic in running a home business. The purpose of this activity is to help home industry entrepreneurs start from how to make hygienic products, how to make labels to attract buyers and how to package these products. The method used in the workshop as well as training and mentoring. The results of this service activity are very helpful for the Seroja Women's Farmer Group in Bedahlawak Village

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to explore the result of the use of R-Aps as a new tool which helps increasing students' motivation in 11th Grade. The study is based on a situation where students have to do learning at home, then a reading application is developed for students to have an increase in learning motivation. The sample of the students’ population for this study is all of 11th in MA Mambaul Ulum Megaluh Jombang. The instruments used in this study were 1) Validation sheet by Validator Expert 2) teacher interview 3) a questionnaire of the students’ responses. From the calculation of the above-average obtained results of 3.97 which belonged to the category of good so that could be concluded that the use of learning media R-Apps is effective. And Regarding the data analysis, mean, percentage, and total score. The result indicated that 1) the students’ English reading comprehension ability increased significantly after learning with reading application 2) Reading Application is worthy as a new tool to increase student motivation 3) the results of the study showed that the media obtained good criteria with a score of 3.97 on the Linkert scale which showed that the media was feasible to be implemented in the classroom.

Abstract

Palaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh timpelaksana di desa Mojokambang kecamatan Bandarkedungmulyo kabupaten Jombang. kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa seminar kewirausahaan untuk membantu para pelaku wirausaha (home industry) agar lebih bersemangat dalam menjalankan usaha rumahannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini membantu para wirausaha home industry mulai dari bagaimana cara pembuatan produk yang higienis, cara membuat label agar menarik minat pembeli serta cara pengemasan (packaging) produk tersebut.Metode yang digunakan dalam adalah workshop serta pelatihan dan pendampingan.Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat membantu para wirausaha di desa Mojokambang ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze student errors in the use of past tense in Narrative text paragraphs based on the problems studied students feel confused with the use of the past tense in the narrative text. This thesis is a qualitative descriptive method. The object of research is grade X-A in the 2021/2022 academic year at Islamic Senior High School Darul Ulum Widang -Tuban. From the findings in the field, the researchers found that there are four types of errors, namely: omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. Then, the researchers studied and concluded that the highest number of errors was misformation with the result of 52%. This is because students feel confused about translating words from English Indonesian to English verse. Students can't tell the difference either between regular or irregular verbs. Students also admitted that they rarely practice for make paragraphs in English

Abstract

English is the language of media communication and the language of interaction with other people in the world. Students need creative and innovative learning products, especially to help students learn spelling and pronunciation. The purpose of this research is to design learning media as a tool for the teaching and learning process of students using the spelling bee game on spelling skills in speaking English. This study uses the R&D research and Development method with the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMP DU 5 Jombang. The research subjects were 15 students. In this study, the data was collected using a questionnaire, while the data was collected using a qualitative descriptive technique. The results of this study get a total value of 3.5 for media validation and get a total value of 4.06 for material validation, with the category of "feasible" to be implemented.

Abstract

In addition to studying in formal schools, Students (Santri) can also study in non-formal schools such as participating in training to increase their understanding of a lesson. However, to be able to participate in the training certainly costs a lot. The symptoms found were that some of the students came from underprivileged families, found it difficult to divide study time with their busy lives at the Islamic Boarding School Darul Ulum Widang - Tuban, lacked interest in learning English, and did not have English manuals or other than textbooks from school. This service activity aims to improve the students' English through training at the Islamic Boarding School Darul Ulum Widang - Tuban. The method used in this service activity is fun training in the form of games, singing, and short conversations. The result of this service is that the students' English skills have increased with this training as evidenced by the increase in the average score of the students' English from 31.66 on the initial test to 65.83 on the final test, it can be concluded that using the training method is an effective way to improve Students' English at Islamic Boarding School Darul Ulum Widang - Tuban.

Abstract

Abstract: The low learning outcomes of PAI grade VII A students of SMP I Megaluh Jombang, need to be improved and improved as well as finding solutions so that the quality of PAI learning increases. Through the application of learning Numbered Heads Together in learning process can encourage students to be active and directly involved in learning such as solving problems, dare to express opinions, respect the opinions of others so that learning is more alive and students are encouraged to prepare themselves well. Then it will increase attention, interest and motivate learning and encourage the creation of participatory learning. The research objective is to determine the learning outcomes of PAI and determine the supporting and inhibiting factors using NHT type learning. The study design includes planning, implementation, observation/field notes, and reflection. The research subjects of class VII A of SMP I Megaluh, odd semester of 2014/2015 were 30 students. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, observations/field notes and documentation, then the data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive statistics. The results of the management and analysis of the data can be concluded that through the application of NHT learning model in the learning process it turns out the learning outcomes about the prayers of Grade VII A students of SMP I Megaluh can be improved. Abstrak: Rendahnya hasil belajar PAI siswa kelas VII A SMPN I Megaluh Jombang, perlu diperbaiki dan ditingkatkan serta dicarikan solusi agar supaya meningkat kualitas pembelajaran PAI. Melalui penerapan pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together pada proses pembelajaran bisa mendorong siswa aktif dan terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran seperti memecahkan masalah, berani mengeluarkan pendapat, menghargai pendapat orang lain sehingga pembelajaran lebih hidup dan siswa terdorong untuk mempersiapkan diri dengan baik. Kemudian akan meningkatkan perhatian, minat dan memotivasi belajar serta mendorong terciptanya pembelajaran partisipatif. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hasil belajar PAI dan mengetahui faktor penunjang serta penghambat dengan menggunakan pembelajaran tipe NHT. Rancangan penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, obesrvasi/pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII A SMPN I Megaluh, semester ganjil Tahun 2014/2015 berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi/catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil pengelolaaan dan analisis data bisa disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran NHT dalam proses pembelajaran ternyata hasil belajar tentang sholat siswa kelas VII A SMPN I Megaluh bisa meningkat
