Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of teacher commitment on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for 11th-grade students at SMAN 2 Tualang. The background of this research is the observed behavior of teacher commitment towards student learning outcomes. Teacher commitment refers to the teacher's dedication in providing instruction to students, self-career development, and professionalism in carrying out school duties. Learning outcomes, on the other hand, are the results of the interaction between learning and teaching activities. When a teacher demonstrates high commitment to teaching and student development, they tend to be more actively involved in the teaching and learning process, which encourages and motivates students. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method with a correlational approach. The population consisted of 11th-grade students at SMAN 2 Tualang, totaling 387 students. A simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 97 students. Data collection was done through questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression. The results indicate that teacher commitment significantly influences students' Pancasila Education learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Tualang. This is supported by the significant value of 0.000<0.05 and a f count of 130.354> f table of 3.939. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.578, meaning that 57.8% of the variation in Pancasila Education learning outcomes can be explained by teacher commitment, while the remaining 42.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. As the hypothesis formulated that teacher commitment has an effect. In this case the hypothesis is accepted on the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMAN 2 Tualang.

Abstract

This research is based on students' perceptions of the factors that influence the learning outcomes of the Pancasila Education subject at SMP Negeri 04 Pekanbaru. The research problem is: How do students perceive the factors that influence their learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject at SMP Negeri 04 Pekanbaru? The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Based on the results of the study on students' perceptions of the factors influencing learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject, it can be concluded from the distribution of the questionnaire that internal factors affecting student learning outcomes consist of physical, psychological, and fatigue factors. The most dominant factor affecting student learning outcomes is the physical factor, with a value of 96.3%. Next is the psychological factor, with a value of 95.5%. The fatigue factor has a percentage value of 94.2%. Furthermore, based on the recapitulation of the questionnaire data analysis, from the students' perspective, internal factors have a significant influence on the learning outcomes of 7th-grade students, with a rate of 95.3%, which is classified as "very high." External factors affecting student learning outcomes consist of the school, family, and the surrounding environment. The environmental factor is the most dominant, with a percentage value of 82.5%. Next, the school factor has a percentage value of 79.7%. The family factor has a value of 53.5%. Based on the recapitulation of the questionnaire data analysis, from the students' perspective, external factors have an influence on the learning outcomes of 7th-grade students, with a value of 80%, which falls into the "high" category. From the explanation above, it can be seen that internal factors have a greater influence on student learning outcomes than external factors.

Abstract

This study was conducted because it was motivated by the lack of students in having a disciplined character at school. The Influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) Independent Dimension is one of the activities implemented in schools which is to improve the disciplined character of these students. This study aims to analyze whether there is an influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) Independent Dimension on the Disciplined Character of Class X Students of State Senior High School 4 Pekanbaru. In this study, the highest indicator was obtained in the variable of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) independent dimension, namely the indicator of the reading corner design talent of the majority of respondents with a percentage of 62.23% indicating a very good category of reading corner design talent interest. Accumulatedly 99.9% of respondents have an interest in reading corner design talent in the very good and good categories. Based on these results, the interest in reading corner design talent is at a very good level. Based on the results of data analysis in this study, it was found that there was a positive and significant influence between the influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) Independent Dimension on the Disciplined Character of Class X.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form of actualization of Pancasila values ​​in the Burdah tradition carried out in Mandah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The Burdah tradition is part of a local culture that is religious and has an important role in the social life of the community. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation involving five main informants, namely the Head of the Riau Malay Customary Institution (LAMR) of Mandah District, sub-district government officials, the Head of Burdah, Burdah actors, and community leaders. The results of the study show that the values ​​of Pancasila are reflected in the implementation of the Burdah tradition, including the value of Divinity which is reflected in the opening of the event with the reading of the Al-Fatihah surah, the value of Humanity through equal treatment of all people present, the value of Unity in togetherness of the community in carrying out the tradition, the value of Deliberation when determining the time and place of implementation, and the value of Social Justice through the involvement of all levels of society. In addition to being a means of preserving culture, the Burdah tradition also plays a role as a medium for strengthening the nation's ideology. However, the involvement of the younger generation is still relatively low, so it is a challenge in the sustainability of this tradition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Pancasila Education learning on civic skills of class VIII students of State Junior High School (SMPN) 12 Pekanbaru. Civic skills are skills that include students' intellectual and participatory abilities in national and state life, including critical thinking, active participation, and understanding the rights and obligations as citizens. This study consists of 2 (two) variables, namely: Pancasila Education (variable x) and Civic Skill (variable y). The research method used is quantitative with a statistical approach. The sample consisted of 62 students of class VIII.7 and VIII.8 who were selected through a total sampling technique. The results of data analysis using the F test showed a calculated F value of 70.334 which was greater than the F table of 4.001, which means that there is a significant influence between Pancasila Education learning on students' civic skills. The correlation coefficient value (r) of 0.735 indicates a strong and positive relationship, while the determination coefficient value (R- square) of 54% indicates that Pancasila Education has an influence on civic skills. The remaining 46% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These results emphasize the importance of integrating Pancasila values in learning in order to form students' democratic, responsible, and active characters in community and state life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of information and communication technology in today's era. Social media is a medium that allows its users to interact virtually via internet connections. Currently, social media tends to be used to display excessive self-existence, which can ultimately influence mindsets, lifestyles, and even the culture of a nation. For students of the Pancasila Education and Citizenship Studies (PPKn) program at Riau University, social media not only serves as an interesting source of information but has also become a part of their daily lifestyle. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of Instagram social media usage on the lifestyles of students in the Pancasila Education and Citizenship Studies (PPKn) program. This research employs a descriptive quantitative research method. The research population consists of all students of the PPKn Study Program at Riau University from the 2021, 2022, and 2023 cohorts. The research stages include the preparation of a questionnaire instrument, data collection from 70 students selected using purposive sampling techniques, and data analysis. Data analysis is performed using simple linear regression tests with the assistance of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25, after passing classical assumption tests (normality and linearity). The research results show that there is a positive and significant effect of Instagram social media use on the lifestyle of students. This is evidenced by a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.487, which means that the effect of the independent variable (Instagram Social Media) on the dependent variable (Lifestyle) is 48.7%.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa persoalan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan aktivitas organisasi, misalnya dari kurangnya partisipasi mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan kemahasiswaan. Serta kehadiran pandemi covid-19 telah melahirkan tekanan dan perubahan lingkungan eksternal dan internal kehidupan organisasi secara keseluruhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran organisasi intra kampus dalam membentuk karakter kepemimpinan kalangan mahasiswa pada masa pandemi covid-19 di Universitas Riau. Manfaat dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu menjadi sumber pembelajaran bagi semua pihak, Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang terdiri dari 8 indikator dengan 16 pertanyaan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Universitas Riau. Pengambilan sampel dari keseluruhan populasi diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Quota Sampling dan untuk menentukan responden yang terdiri dari 10 orang perfakultas peneliti menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Accidental Sampling. Secara keseluruhan, temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil rata-rata pada persentase alternative jawaban responden dominan yaitu 69,25% dimana rentang ini berada pada kategori “Baik” dengan keberadaan pada rentang 50,01%- 75%. Maka disimpulkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran Organisasi Intra Kampus dalam membentuk karakter kepemimpinan mahasiswa pada masa Pandemi covid-19 di Universitas Riau berada pada kategori “Baik” Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Mahasiswa, Peran Organisasi Abstract This research is dependent on several problems in the implementation of organization activities, for example the lack of student participation in student activities. The presence of the covid-19 pandemic has given pressure and changes in the external and internal environment of whole life organization. This study aimed to find out and analyze how students perceive the role of intra-campus organizations in shaping leadership character among students during the covid-19 pandemic at Riau University. The benefit of the results of this study is that it becomes a source of learning for all parties. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instruments used in this study are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation consisting of 8 indicators with 16 questions. The population in this study were students of the Universitas Riau. Sampling from the entire population was taken using the Quota Sampling technique and to determine the respondents consisting of 10 people from the faculty, the researcher used the Accidental Sampling technique. The findings of this study show that the average percentage of alternative answers for dominant respondents is 69.25% where this range is in the "Good" category with an existence in the range of 50.01% - 75%. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perubahan sistem belajar di setiap elemen pendidikan yang disebabkan oleh Covid-19, dari pembelajaran online kemudian tatap muka terbatas sampai dengan tatap muka menggunakan sip kelas. Salah satu hal yang dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas belajar yaitu disebabkan oleh sikap atau watak pelajar saat mengikuti proses belajar mengajar atau yang sering disebut dengan Civic Dispotition. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Perbandingan Pembentukan Civic Disposition antara Siswa Laki-Laki dan Siswa Perempuan pada Pembelajaran PKn di SMP Negeri 2 Lirik. Manfaat dari hasil penelitian ini, yakni sebagai sumber pembelajaran bagi semua pihak. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX sebanyak dengan 50 siswa. Peneliti menggunakan teknik quota sampling dimana sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 25 siswa laki-laki dan 25 siswa perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu data primer wawancara dan teknik angket atau kuesioner, serta data sekunder yang diperoleh dari observasi dan dokumentasi, yang terdiri dari 13 indikator dengan 31 pernyataan. Temuan dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa hasil uji hipotesis adalah F= 0,069 dan nilai sig pada Levene's Test for Equality of Variances sebesar 0,794 dan data dikatakan homogen karena nilai sig 0,794> 0,05. Nilai yang didapatkan pada kolom sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,013, yang artinya nilai 0, 013 lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Kata Kunci: Civic Disposition, Siswa Laki-laki dan Perempuan, Pembelajaran PKn Abstract This research is motivated by changes in the learning system in every element of education caused by Covid-19, from online learning then limited face-to-face to face-to- face using class sips. One of the things that can affect the effectiveness of learning is caused by the attitude or character of students when following the teaching and learning process or often with Civic Dispotition. The purpose of this study was to determine the Comparison of the Formation of Civic Disposition between Male and Female Students in Civics Learning at SMP Negeri 2 Lirik. The benefits of the results of this study, namely as a source of learning for all parties. The population used in this study were all students of class IX as many as 50 students. The researcher used quota sampling technique where the samples taken were 25 male students and 25 female students. The data collection instruments used were interview primary data and questionnaire or questionnaire techniques, as well as secondary data obtained from observation and documentation, which consisted of 13 indicators with 31 statements. The findings of this study indicate that the results of the hypothesis test are F = 0.069 and the sig value in Levene's Test for Equality of Variances is 0.794 and the data is said to be homogeneous because the sig value is 0.794> 0.05. The value obtained in the column sig. (2-tailed) is 0.013, which means the value of 0.013 is smaller than 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Abstract

Fire is a significant threat to life and property safety, especially with the increasing risk due to rapid technological and infrastructure developments. This paper proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based fire protection system that utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller for automatic monitoring and response to potential fires. This system integrates various sensors, namely a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature, an MQ-02 sensor to detect hazardous gases, and a fire sensor to identify the presence of fire. When there is an increase in temperature, gas detection, or fire, the system automatically activates devices such as water pumps, fans, and APAR valves that are connected via relays, and sends real-time notifications equipped with location data via the Telegram application. Through this IoT-based approach, the system can be monitored and controlled remotely, providing a fast and effective response in fire mitigation efforts. The implementation of this system is expected to minimize the impact of fires by detecting and addressing potential hazards automatically and in real-time.

Abstract

Electrical energy is one of the basic human needs whose use continues to increase along with the increase in daily activities. Uncontrolled electricity consumption can lead to energy waste and increased costs. Therefore, a system is needed that can monitor and control the use of electrical energy effectively. In this final project, we develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based tool that is able to monitor and control the use of household electrical energy in real-time. This system uses ESP32 microcontroller, PZEM-004T current sensor, LCD to display the sensor output, and Relay as an automatic switch to regulate the on or off of electronic devices. Blynk platform is used as an intermediary between microcontroller and smartphone or PC to facilitate remote control. With this system, users can monitor daily energy consumption and control electricity usage efficiently, thus saving energy and costs. This research is expected to contribute to a smarter and more efficient management of household electrical energy
