Abstract

The school environment has an important role in the learning process of Hinduism and Pekerti in school, this is because when the school environment is not comfortable such as noise, the room is too glare, and there is not enough plants to make the school shady, then students will not concentrate in the process learning. When the school environment is comfortable, students will be happy and even motivated to learn. This study aims to determine (1) the role of the school environment in the process of learning Hinduism and Budi Pekerti at Canggu 1 State Elementary School. (2) To find out students' perceptions at SD Negeri 1 Canggu about the role of the school environment in the process of learning Hinduism and character traits. (3) To know the educational values ​​contained in the school environment that play a role in the process of learning Hinduism and character. The theories used to dissect the problem are: Education Theory, from Titib to dissect the first problem, Perception Theory, from Robbins to dissect the second problem, the Value Theory, from Louis O. Kattsoff (in rahayu) to dissect the third problem. The subjects of this study were Hindu religious education teachers and Hindu students at Canggu 1 Elementary School. Data collection method is by Observation Method, Interview, Literature, and Documentation. The data that has been collected is analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis method with steps of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show (1) The role of the school environment in the Hindu and Pekerti learning process is to provide a means of learning through the physical environment of the school, and as a mental form of students through the school's social environment as well as students' self-development through the school's academic environment. (2) Students' perceptions at SD Negeri 1 Canggu about the role of the school environment in the process of learning Hinduism and character are students realize that the school environment is very instrumental in the learning process because schools provide facilities and infrastructure, methods that support the learning process, the existence of trees - trees that are shady and not noisy which makes students focus on learning. (3) Educational Values ​​contained in the School Environment that play a role in the Learning Process of Hinduism and Characteristic are the Value of Praise, Sradha Value and Cultural Value.

Abstract

The Regulation issuance of the Religion Minister of the Republic Indonesia No. 56/2014 that concerning on Hindu Religion Education in formal and non-formal education forms requires the Directorate General of Hindu Community Guidance to organize a registration service. The quality of the registration service needs to be surveyed as an evaluation of the implementation of public services. The subjects in this survey research are leaders / managers of formal and non-formal pasraman in Bali who already have registration list in 2020. The aspects that reviewed to determine service satisfaction are based on 14 minimum elements as indicators that must exist as a basis for measuring IKM on public service performance that are in accordance to the Ministerial Decree No. PAN. 25 of 2004. The sampling technique was carried out using disproportionate stratified random sampling, the data collection technique used an attitude scale as the main data and interviews and document studies as supporting data. Data were analyzed descriptively which were the community satisfaction score was sought first, the score was then adjusted to the criteria table. Overall, the level of community satisfaction with registration service of Hindu religious education institutions was very high. This can be proven by the average community satisfaction score of 82.75 (very high). In addition, if it was reviewed based on aspects of public service, among the 14 (fourteen) aspects of service, there were 4 (four) aspects that got very high satisfaction, namely discipline of officers, fairness of service, courtesy of officers and environmental comfort, while other aspects were in high satisfaction criteria. If it was reviewed by regency / city, all districts / cities in the Bali province got satisfaction score with very high criteria. Factors that affected public satisfaction with the sign service of Hindu religion education institutions include planning, leadership, monitoring of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangible, and tangible factors, certainty and service costs.

Abstract

The success of an education is largely determined by many factors, some of the factors in supportingthese successes are the quality of human resources (HR), facilities, infrastructure, and the curriculum used. The change in curriculum requires teachers to understand and be able to implement all these changes in the learning process in the classroom, but not many teachers understand and are able to implement these changes in learning activities, especially in the use of learning methods. Therefore, this paper will attempt to examine the Sad Dharma method of learning of Hindu religious education and character entitled "Sad Dharma as a Learning Method of Hindu Religious Education and Character of 2013 Curriculum in SMPGurukula Bangli". This paper used qualitative research methods, the location of research was in SMP Gurukula Bangli, the type of data was descriptive data with primary and secondary data sources, informant determination techniques used purposive sampling technique, data collection methods used observation, interview, library study, and documentation techniques, and used data analysis techniques and presentation techniques of data analysis results. Based on the tests which were carried out, it could be stated that the Sad Dharma method was applied in its entirety starting from the dharma wacana, dharma tula, dharma santi, dharma gita, dharma sadhana, and dharma yatra. Constraints faced by its implementation were teacher, facilities, and curriculum. The implications of the implementationof Sad Dharma learning methods were the implications for spiritual attitudes, implications for social attitudes, implications for cognitive/knowledge and implications for psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out (1) Implementation of Hindu Religious Education Curriculum in PasramanRsiMarkandya Taro, Gianyar Regency, (2) The constraints faced in the Implementation of Hindu Religious Education Curriculum in Pasraman Rsi Markandya Taro, Gianyar Regency and (3) Efforts that undertaken to overcome the obstacles encountered in the Implementation of the Hindu Religious Education Curriculum in Pasraman Rsi Markandya Taro, Gianyar Regency. The theories that used in this research to answer the problem formulation are modern management theory, constructivism theory and excitement theory. This research is descriptive research with qualitative approach which is related to the implementation of the Hindu religious education curriculum in Pasraman Rsi Markandya Taro. The techniques of data collection used are: observation, interviews, study of literature and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative techniques, the Miles and Huberman cycle analysis models. The results of the research showed that: First, the implementation of Hindu religious education in Pasraman Rsi Markandeya Taro, Gianyar District had not been running optimally and there were still a lot of constraints, so it was necessary to conduct evaluations and follow up actions as well as acceleration of the expansion of facilities and infrastructure. Second, the constraints faced are human resources, time allocation, funding and facilities and infrastructure. Third, the efforts were done to solve the constraints encountered, namely providing training to teachers, developing learning programs and utilizing effective learning resources.

Abstract

Technological developments and information flows add to the tendency of high rates of deviation by students. The responsibility of the school to further enhance its role through the teacher in providing moral education so as to form students' self-efficacy in behaving appropriately and improperly. Students' understanding of values can be formed through the learning process. The role of teachers, especially teachers of Hinduism, in implementing learning strategies is the main focus to be studied. Thus, through this study will be known learning strategies carried out by Hinduism teachers in anticipating student behavior and foster self-efficacy and instill educational values that characterize in Denpasar Public High School 5. Based on the above background, problems can be formulated as follows: Application of the Hindu religion teacher learning strategy in improving moral behavior and self-efficacy in Denpasar 5 SMA 2) Factors that influence the implementation of the Hindu religion teacher learning strategies in improving moral behavior and self-efficacy at SMA Negeri 5 Denpasar 3) Implications of the application of the learning strategy of Hindu religious education on moral behavior and self-efficacy in Denpasar SMA 5. This problem will be studied using Learning Theory, Constructivism Theory, and Stimulus Response Theory. Data collection techniques used: observation, interviews, documents, literature studies with the determination of informants using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used is qualitative descriptive and triangulation. The results of this study are presented as follows: (1) Application of the Hindu religion teacher learning strategy using scientific learning strategies which include: (a) Implementation and Evaluation Planning; (b) Learning methods, media and learning resources used. (2) Factors that influence the implementation of Hindu religion teacher learning strategies include internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of (a) Teacher Factors; (b) Student Factors; (c) School Management Factors; and (d) Learning Support Facilities and Infrastructure Factors. External factors consist of (a) social environment and (b) natural environment. (3) The implications of the implementation of learning strategies for Hindu religious education are (1) cognitive aspects, (2) affective aspects and (3) psychomotor aspects. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the Hindu education learning strategy conducted at Denpasar Public High School 5 has its own method in its application, so it is able to control and overcome students from behavioral deviations and self-efficacy.

Abstract

Membentuk karakter toleransi merupakan suatu tujuan yang sangat penting dalam dunia pendidikan karena akan terkait dengan keluaran (output) karena peserta didik yang selalu diharapkan oleh semua pihak terutama orang tua. Salah satu dalam pembentukan karakter toleransi, sekolah merupakan bagian dari upaya untuk meningkatkan pendidikan toleransi manusia sejak dini. Terdapat salah satu sekolah yang berada pada tingkat menengah kejuruan atau biasa disebut dengan SMK, sekolah tersebut ialah SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar, Keberadaan sekolah ini berada di pusat kota, yang dimana siswanya tidak saja beragama Hindu. Maka dari itu diperlukan rasa toleransi dan saling menghormati antar sesama umat beragama, untuk menunjang rasa toleransi antar umat beragama peran guru sangatlah penting karena guru yang dapat membentuk karakter siswa agar memiliki rasa toleransi disekolah maupun dimasyarakat nantinya. peranan guru agama Hindu dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter toleransi siswa yaitu, menumbuhkembangkan karakter toleransi siswa melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler (intra curricular activities) dan ekstrakurikuler (exstra curricular activities). Kedua kegiatan ini memiliki konstribusi besar dalam tumbuhkembang karakter toleransi siswa peserta didik diskolah. (2) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru agama Hindu dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter toleransi siswa disebabkan dua faktor yaitu: (Faktor internal (faktor bawaan, minat peserta didik, dan emosional) yang bersifat alami dan bawaan dari dalam diri siswa). Faktor eksternal (keluarga, sekolah, masyarakat, dan media massa) yang berasal dari luar diri siswa. Untuk itu siswa harus mampu memilah diri dan diimbangi perhatian dari orang tua dan sekolah agar kendala-kendala ini tidak mengganggu perkembangan karakter siswa tersebut. (3) upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru agama Hindu untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter toleransi siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar dilakukan dengan cara Penerapan Sikap 3 S (Senyum, Salam, Sapa), Pembiasaan Kegiatan di Dalam Kelas, Pengembangan Suasana Lingkungan Pembelajaran.

Abstract

SMA Negeri Bali Mandara issued a regulation whereby items that were not properly guarded or neglected would be brought to the principal's office to be followed up and had to come face to face and provide logical reasons to the principal for those who wanted their items back. This regulation was issued due to the lack of awareness of students in appreciating the items provided by the school. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to determine the impact of the implementation of the shoe-placing culture regulations on the character of SMA Negeri Bali Mandara students, knowing the possible impact of the implementation of the Shoe-Putting Culture in addition to the SMA Negeri Bali Mandara, knowing how to implement this rule if this rule is applied in other schools. as a medium to encourage a better character. This research instrument includes interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative, quantitative, and descriptive methods. The results of this study are as follows: The culture of placing shoes in SMA Negeri Bali Mandara can influence foreign schools to implement this culture for the realization of good student character and the form of implementation of the existence of a shoe-placing culture related to student character education with the percentage of the influence of the shoe-betting culture on outside schools of 83.2% and implementation of 78.8% showed that students played a very important role in the implementation of this Shoe-Putting Culture.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the perception of Hindu society on the existence of formal pasraman (Hindu style of education) in Bali. The research method used is namely the type of qualitative research. This research of descriptive data with primary and secondary data sources and the technique of determining informants using purposive sampling techniques. Methods of data collection using observation techniques, interviews, literature studies, and documentation, as well as using data analysis techniques and presentation techniques of data analysis results. The results showed that first, the background of the establishment of a formal pasraman include juridical background, religious, and needs. Second, the learning method uses is catur pramana learning method. Third, the perception of Hindu society on the existence of formal pasraman is still low due to a lack of understanding as a whole, therefore it is necessary to socialize the existence of formal pasraman.Keywords: perception, learning methods, catur pramana, formal Hindu pasraman

Abstract

Humans are individual beings and social beings, who have different personalities and characters from one another. Harmony will determine humans to be able to adjust themselves to their environment. Social and individual life greatly influences human life, such as family, friends, community, and state. The family is the smallest unit in a society consisting of father, mother, and child. The family has an important role in shaping the character of children ranging from in the womb to adulthood. Children are the next generation of the Nation which must be well educated. Harmony in the family will produce children who are of good character and intelligence, so the family is the main factor influencing the formation of a child's character. If the family fails to educate children, the child will have a bad character and will affect the development of the nation's civilization. Bayunggede Village is a tourist village located in Kintamani District, Bangli. The character of the Balinese people in the Bayunggede Village, in general, seems to live full of harmony even though it has been exposed to modernization, they have a uniqueness in the structure of the family organization that forms the character of family harmony.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the text structure of geguritan karma phala, the value of Hindu religious education contained in the geguritan karma phala, and how the relevance of the geguritan karma phala text with Hindu religious education. The results of the study found: (1) The structure of geguritan karma phala includes: characterization, incident, plot, message, theme, and background. This characterization in geguritan karma phala displays the main character is Sang Dharmaputra because of the intensity of his involvement in every event that is happening. The secondary character is Chess Pandawa and Diah Drupadi. ​​This character is described analytically and dramatically. Complementary figures, namely Duryodhana, Rsi Bhisma, Bhagawan Drona, Prabu Salya and figures of gods such as Sang Hyang Indra, Sang Hyang Dharma. The incident in geguritan karma phala begins with the destruction of Dwarawati's kingdom followed by the departure of Panca Pandawa and Diah Drupadi doing Tirthayatra. The next incident is to tell about the journey of the Chess Pandawa until finally their deaths one by one on the journey. The last incident was, the return of all the Pandavas to surge where they had previously lived in hell, reversed with the Kuravas, where previously lived in the end of heaven lived in hell forever. (2) The value of Hindu religious education contained in the geguritan karma phala is the value of tattwa education, the value of ethical education, and the value of aesthetic education. The value of tattwa concerning Panca Sradha and about the philosophy of Color Chess. The value of ethical education regarding the value of loyalty. Aesthetic values ​​regarding a form of Geguritan story contain noble educational values ​​so that it can be used as a guide in living life. (3) The relevance of geguritan karma phala with Hinduism education that the teachings of Hindu religion are mostly contained in the turmoil of karma phala that can be applied in Hinduism education. The teachings in geguritan karma phala that are relevant to be applied in Hindu religious education are the teachings of Panca Sradha in Geguritan Karma Phala, namely five beliefs or beliefs and catur warna.
