Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition or transition from childhood to adulthood. Adolescent development occurs in all parts of life, including socio-emotion changes to find an identity. Playing with peers and communicating through games is mostly done by teenagers through playing online games. Online games attract the attention of teenagers because of their attractive appearance, playing style, game graphics and image resolution. Playing online games with long intensity can cause confusion between reality and illusion, affect concentration power, and will have an impact on visual disturbances. This study used a descriptive research design with a cross- sectional approach. The population in this study amounted to 115 people with a total sample of 115 respondents with a total sampling technique. The results showed that the intensity of playing online games and the incidence of asthenopia showed a value of ?-value = 0.000 (?<0.05), which means that there was a significant relationship between the intensity of playing online games and the incidence of asthenopia in students. It is hoped that for schools, this research can become a benchmark for assessing the level of intensity of playing online games and the incidence of asthenopia.

Abstract

The average diabetes mellitus patient at the Puskesmas Telaga has a long-suffering status of ? 3 years with a decreased life quality due to inadequate management of diabetes mellitus (self-care). This research aims to determine the relationship between the duration of illness and quality of life in type II diabetes mellitus patients in the working area of Puskesmas Telaga, Gorontalo Regency. The research employs a cross-sectional method with a sample total of 66 respondents obtained through purposive sampling. Data analysis employs the chi-square test with the Diabetes Quality of Life (DQOL) questionnaire as an instrument. The results indicate that 25 respondents (37.9%) have suffered for ? 3 years with poor life quality related to descreased patient self-care due to boredom and burnout. In addition, long suffering < 3 years with poor life quality, as many as six respondents (9.1%) related to the patient’s unpreparedness in receiving a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. To conclude, a p-value = 0,041 is obtained so that there was a relationship between duration of illness and life quality in type II diabetes mellitus patients in the working area of Puskesmas Telaga, Gorontalo Regency. It is expected that patients will improve the management of diabetes mellitus and the public health center collaborating with mental nurses regarding stress management for diabetes mellitus patients.

Abstract

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). One part of the body that can transmit it is the hands. Washing hands with soap is one way to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. This study aims to determine the relationship between Covid-19 knowledge and hand washing using soap in elementary school-aged children at MIM Unggulan of Gorontalo City. This research is quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population are 167 elementary school students in grades 4 and 5. The total samples are 118 respondents using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The results showed that 88 respondents (74.6%) had good knowledge about Covid-19, 28 respondents (23.7%) had adequate knowledge, and two respondents (1.7%) had poor knowledge. In addition, respondents with good compliance with hand washing using soap were 85 respondents (72.0%), fair compliance were 32 respondents (27.1%), and one respondent with poor compliance (0.8%). It obtained p-Value = 0.000 (a < 0.005), which means that there is a relationship between Covid-19 knowledge and hand washing using soap compliance in elementary school-aged children at the MIM Unggulan of Gorontalo City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the social environment and risky sexual behavior in adolescents. The method used was a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design and bivariate analysis using the Spearman's rho test. The results showed a p-value of 0.198 (>0.05) with a correlation coefficient of -0.126. In conclusion, there is no significant relationship between the social environment and risky sexual behavior in adolescents at SMP Negeri 15 Gorontalo. The direction of the negative relationship indicates that the better the social environment, the lower the tendency for risky sexual behavior. However, this relationship is very weak and not statistically significant. Keywords: Social Environment, Risky Sexual Behavior, Adolescents

Abstract

Fail kidney chronic (GGK) is disease progressive that requires therapy replacement kidney like hemodialysis . One of the common complications​ No realized is dysfunction sexual , which can lower quality life patient . Research This aiming For describe function sexual intercourse in GGK patients undergoing hemodialysis at Aloei Saboe Regional Hospital, Gorontalo City. Research design use approach descriptive quantitative with accidental sampling technique on 70 respondents who met the requirements criteria inclusion . Instruments used​ is IIEF questionnaire for men and FSFI for women . The results show that in patients male , function best orgasm (65.1%), followed by function erection (58.1%), desire sexual , and satisfaction connection sexual (51.2%). However , the desire sexual in a way overall disturbed (62.8%). In patients women , lubrication and desire sexual prominent (63%), followed by orgasm and comfort moment relate sexual (55.6%), with satisfaction sexual as function lowest (48.1%). In conclusion , patients man more Lots experience disturbance of desire sexual , while patient Woman experience more disturbance​ evenly distributed . It is recommended that the power health give education , counseling , and support psychosocial For increase quality life patient .

Abstract

Gizi balita merupakan faktor fundamental dalam menentukan kualitas kesehatan dan perkembangan sumber daya manusia di masa depan. Tantangan seperti stunting dan gizi kurang masih menjadi masalah serius di Indonesia. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dinilai sebagai strategi potensial dalam meningkatkan akses informasi gizi di masyarakat pedesaan. Program ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan meluncurkan Website GAS (Gizi Anak Seimbang) sebagai inovasi edukasi digital gizi balita di Desa Pentadio Barat. Program dilaksanakan pada 5–18 Juli 2025 melalui pendekatan partisipatif. Tahapan meliputi: (1) perancangan konten edukasi gizi, (2) pengembangan website interaktif dengan fitur kalkulator gizi, artikel edukasi, dan menu MP-ASI lokal, (3) sosialisasi kepada kader dan ibu balita, serta (4) launching website di aula desa. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi dan diskusi kelompok terfokus. Website GAS berhasil dikembangkan dalam waktu empat hari dan mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat. Fitur kalkulator gizi dan panduan MP-ASI lokal dinilai sangat membantu orang tua dalam pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak. Program juga meningkatkan literasi digital kader desa, meskipun masih terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan literasi digital pada sebagian masyarakat.Kesimpulan: Website GAS menjadi inovasi tepat guna dalam mendukung edukasi gizi balita dan pencegahan stunting di tingkat desa. Program ini memperlihatkan potensi besar integrasi teknologi digital dalam pengabdian masyarakat. Keberlanjutan implementasi memerlukan dukungan kelembagaan, pembaruan konten, serta pendampingan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan
