Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth of Koi (Cyprinus rubrofuscus) with the addition of probiotics. This research was carried out in the wet laboratory of the study program for Teknologi Produksi Benih dan Pakan Ikan Politeknik Indonesia Venezuela, from March to April 2024. The method used was a laboratory experimental method and a nonfactorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and of 4 replications viz. based, namely A (control), B (3 ml addition of probiotics), C (6 ml addition of probiotics), and D (9 ml addition of probiotics). Based on the results of observations in the field for an average survival value of 100%. The results showed that the use of probiotics for Koi fish hatchery media had no significant effect on the survival of Koi fish, so further tests were carried out to determine the best treatment for producing Koi fish length and weight growth, it was known that probiotics were the best treatment in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the timing of feeding BSF larvae (Hermatia illucens) as additional feed on the survival and growth of catfish fry (Clarias sp). This research was conducted for 30 days in May - June 2019 at the Laboratory of the Fish Seed and Feed Production Technology Department, Politeknik Indonesia. The research method used in this study is an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and four replicates resulting in 16 experimental units with treatment A (Control) Adlibitum, B (BSF larvae in the morning) Adlibitum, C (BSF larvae in the afternoon) Adlibitum, and D (BSF larvae in the afternoon) Adlibitum. The provision of BSF larvae (Hermatia illucens) as additional food has a significant effect on survival, specific growth, relative growth, absolute length growth of catfish seeds (Clarias sp). The best treatment is found in treatment B, namely the provision of BSF larvae in the morning as additional feed with a specific growth rate of 0.05 grams/day, absolute length growth of 6.29 cm, relative growth value of 9.64%/day and feed conversion ratio of 0.63.

Abstract

Pariwisata nerupakan investasi yang penting pada sektor non migas bagi Indonesia. Akomodasi adalah salah satu sektor yang memiliki penghasilan yang paling besar sehingga mempengaruhi perkembangan industri pariwisata. Salah satu penawaran yang dapat ditawarkan oleh pihak hotel untuk menarik tamu untuk berkunjung ke sebuah hotel maupun hanya untuk berkunjung ke restoran tersebut adalah pelayanan Candle Light Dinner. Indonesia sangat kaya akan ragam pagan lokal yang sudah berakar dan membudaya di masyarakat. Namun saat ini justru terdapat kecenderungan masyarakat mengabaikan sumber pangan lokal dan lebih memuja pangan impor. Ubi jalar ungui merupakan bahan pangan yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi karbohidrat dan sumber kalori yang cukup tinggi. Oleh karena itu, dibeberapa daerah ubi jalar juga digfunakan sebagai bahan makanan pokok. Berdasarkan uraian diatas maka diangkatlah pokok permasalahannya mengenai daya tarik kuliner dengan menampilkan set menu yang memanfaatkan ubi ungu sebagai olahan makanan yang akan disajikan dalam event Candle Light Dinner. Penulis membuat set menu yang akan disajikan yaitu Baked Mushroom Stuffed with Sweet Potato sebagai appetizer, Sweet Potato Creamy Soup sebagai soup, Chicken Steak with Sweet Potato and Sautee Mix Vegetable sebagai main course, dan Sweet Potato Panna cotta sebagai dessert. Dan juga Batatas Morada Breeze sebagai minuman yang akan disajikan. Salah satu tujuan Tugas Akhir ini dibuat untuk menghasilkan kreasi menu/recipe untuk dihidangkan pada event Candle Light Dinner. Metode dalam pengerjaan proyek Tugas Akhir menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahap pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, penyebaran kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan demontrasi. Dari hasil data yang diperoleh ubi ungu dapat diolah menjadi makanan maupun minuman yang berkelas. Untuk mengetahui tingkat produk ubi ungu, para tamu yang hadir diberikan kuesioner untuk memperoleh data terkait kualitas, aroma dan rasa dari kreasi menu olahan ubi ungu. Dari hasil pelaksanaan event launching produk disimpulkan bahwa loyalitas para tamu terhadap olahan ubi ungu adalah sangat baik.

Abstract

Tax Aggressiveness can be interpreted as minimising the tax expenses paid aggressively. The primary goal of this research is to analyse and acquire proof of the influence of related party transactions, advertising expenses, and executive compensation on tax aggressiveness at companies from the consumer non-cyclical sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 until 2021. The method used for sample selection is purposive sampling, which obtained 18 samples, totalling 90 observations. The research used a quantitative approach and panel data regression analysis technique. The outcomes of this research show that related party transactions, advertising expenses, and executive compensation simultaneously influence tax aggressiveness. According to the partial test, the results showed that the related party transaction negatively influences tax aggressiveness. In contrast, advertising expenses and executive compensation do not influence tax aggressiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to increase the awareness and capacity of the community in Padang Bak Jok Village, Tangan-Tangan District, Southwest Aceh Regency in making feed for catfish farming through education and training on the process of making and feeding sinking feed. The implementation method includes material presentation and field practice. The results showed an increase in the community's awareness and ability to calculate the amount of feed and feed-making/feeding techniques. This activity also encouraged the community to start a fish farming business with facilitation support from the Village Government and BUMG (Village-Owned Enterprises).

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the role of different culture media in the domestication process on the survival rate of freshwater lobster (Cherax quadricarinatus). The study employed a field experimental method with four treatment groups, namely freshwater media, flowing water media, plankton-enriched water media, and Lactobacillus-enriched water media. The results showed that freshwater lobster's survival rate (SR) ranged from 26% to 97%. The freshwater media treatment had the highest SR value (97%), while the Lactobacillus-enriched water media treatment had the lowest SR value (26%). Analysis of water quality parameters indicated that temperature, pH, and other water quality parameters met the standards required for freshwater lobster cultivation. The results of this study suggest that the application of different culture media can maintain the survival rate of freshwater lobster.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of biofermentation duration of Chromolaena odorata using liquid palm sugar as a carbon source on the content and in vitro digestibility of dry matter (DM) and organic matter (OM). A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments (LB-0 = 0 days, LB-7 = 7 days, LB-14 = 14 days, LB-21 = 21 days) and four replications was applied. Each treatment included liquid palm sugar (C/N ratio of 30) and 5% rumen fluid as a starter inoculum. Observed variables included DM content, OM content, in vitro DM digestibility (IVDMD), and in vitro OM digestibility (IVOMD). Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan’s test (P<0.05). Results showed the highest DM content in LB-14 (91.64%), OM content in LB-7 (90.47%), IVDMD in LB-21 (72.55%), and IVOMD in LB-21 (71.13%). Statistical analysis confirmed that biofermentation duration significantly affected all parameters (P<0.05). The study concluded that the optimal durations were 14 days for DM content, 7 days for OM content, and 21 days for in vitro DM and OM digestibility. This research recommends using fermented Chromolaena odorata as ruminant feed, with fermentation duration adjusted to specific nutritional goals.

Abstract

In an increasingly evolving digital era, digitalpreneurs face various challenges in marketing their digital products. Intense competition, changing consumer behavior, resource limitations, and the need to build brand awareness are some of the main issues encountered. This article aims to explore these challenges and provide effective solutions to address them. Proposed solutions include product differentiation, market segmentation, innovation in marketing, consumer trend monitoring, leveraging cloud technology, and utilizing high-quality content and paid advertising campaigns. By implementing the right strategies, digitalpreneurs can enhance their chances of success in marketing their digital products in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fermented bran extract with different doses on the biomass growth of Silkworms (Tubifex sp). This research was conducted in August 2021 at the Laboratory of the Fish Seed and Feed Production Technology Study Program, Politeknik Indonesia Venezuela. The design used was a non-factorial completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replicates. The highest biomass of silkworms (Tubifex sp) was obtained in treatment A (without the addition of fine bran fermentation extract) with an average biomass of 32.5 grams, while the best absolute length growth of silkworms was obtained in treatment D (Addition of 200 ml fine bran fermentation extract) with a length value of 2.5 cm. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the addition of fermented bran extract had a significant effect (P>0.05) on biomass and absolute length growth of silkworms (Tubifex sp). Water quality results showed pH ranged from 8.4 - 10.4 and water temperature ranged from 26.9-270C.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran sistem Just in Time (JIT) dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional perusahaan, dengan fokus pada sektor industri di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah literature review deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yang didasarkan pada telaah artikel-artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan dalam lima tahun terakhir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan JIT memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan efisiensi operasional, antara lain melalui pengurangan biaya persediaan, pemendekan waktu proses produksi (lead time), peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja, serta penguatan efisiensi dalam manajemen rantai pasok. Selain itu, integrasi teknologi informasi seperti Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) dan Internet of Things (IoT) turut mendukung keberhasilan implementasi JIT di berbagai sektor industri. Namun demikian, sejumlah kendala masih dihadapi dalam penerapannya di Indonesia, antara lain keterbatasan infrastruktur logistik, ketergantungan terhadap pemasok, serta kurangnya kompetensi manajerial dan teknis. Oleh karena itu, keberhasilan strategi JIT sangat bergantung pada kesiapan sistem pendukung yang memadai serta penerapan manajemen yang terencana dan terintegrasi.
