Abstract

This study aims to reduce the identity crisis experienced by students at MTs Islamiyah Londut. Using a quantitative research method, where in this study used a sample of class VII with a population of 30 people, this study involved two groups, namely the Experimental group totaling 15 people and the control group totaling 15 people. The Experimental group was given treatment guidance, group guidance, with (REI). This is evident from the results of the initial pretest of the experimental group which showed a score of 62 and increased to 67.3 after participating in group guidance using the Rational Emotive Imagery (REI) technique. Because most of the instruments used in the survey were negative, which means a higher score means a reduced identity crisis. It can be concluded that group guidance services using the Rational Emotive Imagery (REI) technique at MTs Islamiyah Londut can reduce student identity crises.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and explain the level of anxiety facing the world of work in final students of Islamic Education Counseling Guidance Study Program at UIN Sumatra Utara Medan. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Final students of the Islamic Education Counseling Guidance Study Program at UIN Sumatra Utara Medan participated as research subjects. The sample is determined by using purposive sampling. The number of samples is 137 people, 21 men and 116 women. Data for this study were collected using a questionnaire that was distributed online through the Google-Form media. The results of the study revealed that the level of anxiety in facing the world of work for final students of Islamic Education Counseling Guidance Study Program at UIN Sumatra Utara Medan was moderate, with 83 students (60.6%) included in this category.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the results of implementing group counseling services to improve self-confidence in students at SDN 105367 Desa Karang Anyar. The research was conducted using a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach and a case study approach. Data collection processes included observation, interviews, and documentation studies, using Miles and Huberman's analysis, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research subjects were students at SDN 105367 Desa Karang Anyar. The research found that the self-confidence of the second-grade students at SDN 105367 Desa Karang Anyar increased after the group counseling sessions. This was evident in the changes in attitude and behavior demonstrated by the students, who initially were more passive and quiet but became more active and confident after participating in the group counseling.

Abstract

The literature study method is a series of activities relating to methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and managing research materials (Zed, 2008:3). Literature study is an activity that is required in research, especially academic research whose main aim is to develop theoretical aspects as well as aspects of practical benefits. Literature studies are carried out by each researcher with the main aim of finding a basis for obtaining and building a theoretical basis, framework of thinking, and determining temporary assumptions or also known as research hypotheses. So that researchers can grup, allocate, organize and use a variety of libraries in their field. By conducting literature studies, researchers have a broader and deeper understanding of the problem to be researched. The implementation of grup counseling services certainly does not go straight without any problems that follow. Along the way, there are various kinds of problems that follow the development of grup counseling services. In this research, the author will explain various grup problems in the implementation of counseling services.

Abstract

Literature study is a way to obtain information or references about research subjects. After that, the data was examined using descriptive analysis. The descriptive analysis method begins with an in-depth explanation of the facts. Furthermore, this analysis goes beyond simple explanations to include adequate understanding and sound reasoning. Improving the understanding and application of ethics in group counseling requires collective efforts from various parties. Recommendations that can be implemented include standardizing ethics education and training, ongoing ethics training, developing ethical resources, increasing the role of supervisors, strengthening ethical culture in organizations, and increasing awareness of group members.

Abstract

This research aims to address four research questions based on the background of the problem above, namely: 1) To explain the phenomenon of Guidance and Counseling teachers' understanding of students' mental health problems; 2) To describe the planning and steps of mental health development activities for students carried out by Guidance and Counseling teachers; 3) To elaborate on the evaluation conducted by Guidance and Counseling teachers regarding the development of students' mental health. In this study, the researcher employed a qualitative approach. Data were collected from 5 Guidance and Counseling teachers at Senior High School 6 Pematangsiantar. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Guidance and Counseling teachers are knowledgeable about and understand what mental health is. The form of mental health development activities designed and implemented by Guidance and Counseling teachers at Senior High School 6 Pematangsiantar by providing information services on 'Mental Health' so that students understand the importance of mental health for themselves. Evaluation conducted by Guidance and Counseling teachers regarding the development of students' mental health at Senior High School 6 Pematangsiantar is carried out through process evaluation and outcome evaluation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of problem-solving techniques through group guidance services in preventing self-injury in adolescents. The research method used is quantitative with a pre-experiment, one-group pretest, and posttest design. The data used in this research are primary and secondary. Secondary data was obtained from documentation, while primary data was obtained through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The population of this study was class VII at MTs Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting, with as many as 63 people. The number of samples was eight people who had self-injury in the very high and high categories. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique for testing the hypothesis uses the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with an asymp significance value, Sig (2-tailed) of 0.012 (<), from a significance level of 0.05. This means that problem-solving techniques through group guidance services effectively prevent self-injury behavior in teenagers.

Abstract

The research method used is quantitative, with a pre-experiment design of one group pretest-posttest. The primary and secondary data used in this research are primary and secondary. Secondary data was obtained from documentation, while primary data was obtained through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The population of this study was 63 students at MTs Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting. Sample as many as eight people who had social loafing behavior. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with the SPSS For Windows Versions 22.0 statistics program. The results show that the significant value of Asymp. Sig(2-tailed) < 0.05, namely 0.012. This means that group guidance services through problem-solving techniques effectively reduce social loafing in students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui implementasi bimbingan karir dengan pendekatan trait and factor dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemilihan karir siswa SMK Nusantara Lubuk Pakam. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang diperoleh peneliti di SMK Nusantara Lubuk Pakam. Adapun yang menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan konseling, dan siswa-siswi di SMK Nusantara Lubuk Pakam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi bimbingan karir dengan pendekatan trait and factor dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemilihan karir siswa, setelah diberikan bimbingan karir oleh guru BK. Hal ini terbukti dengan beberapa siswa yang mengalami peningkatan dalam memahami potensi yang dimiliki, kepercayaan diri dalam menentukan karir, dan hilangnya keraguan siswa dalam menentukan karir.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang biasa dilakukan oleh mahasiswa di Universitas tertentu terutama di Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara yakni dengan ikut andil berkontribusi dalam pengembangan serta mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi dimasyarakat. Pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja Nyata tersebut dilakukan selama kurang lebih 30 hari pengabdian dimulai pada Juli 2024-Agustus 2024. Lokasi kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata dilakukan di Desa Empat Negeri, Kec. Datuk Lima Puluh, Kab. Batubara dengan tema "Inovasi dan Kolaborasi dalam Pembangunan: Membangun Smart University melalui Kemitraan Strategis Berbasis Pemerintah Daerah". Dengan begitu, metode observasi, wawancara, serta pemanfaatan teknologi tepat digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dalam bentuk Kuliah Kerja Nyata. Para mahasiswa meneliti secara langsung dilapangan untuk menemukan dan mencari tahu masalah apa yang terjadi di masyarakat dan cara mengatasinya. Mahasiswa KKN juga ikut serta dalam menciptakan kebersihan lingkungan melalui kegiatan kebersihan, menciptakan keamanan dan kejahatan melalui Penyuluhan Hukum, ikut serta dalam kegiatan pendidikan dengan mengajar anak-anak di Desa Empat Negeri, kegiatan sosial dan keagamaan, serta banyak kontribusi lainnya yang diberikan kepada masyarakat. Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata secara keseluruhan yang telah berjumlah 23 Program dengan 3 Program wajib yang sudah terselesaikan. Sehingga, dengan adanya kegiatan KKN di Desa Empat Negeri beserta Program Kerja yang sudah terlaksana diharapkan dapat membantu sedikit banyaknya perubahan yang lebih baik di Desa Empat Negeri.
