Abstract

This research aims to determine Islamic visionary leadership strategies in successfully leading junior high school educational institutions in Central Lombok. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study design. Research informants are school principals, teachers, and other stakeholders. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis with stages of data presentation, data condensation, and conclusion. Checking the validity of data with consistency, objectivity, and transferability. The research results indicate that Islamic visionary leadership fosters an educational climate that upholds the core values of justice, trust, and deliberation. Apart from that, strengthening leadership capacity and collaboration between stakeholders is a strategic factor in enhancing the existence of Islamic educational institutions. The research implication is that Islamic visionary leadership not only manages educational administration but also builds an integrated vision of scientific excellence and moral-spiritual values. The application of this principle has a positive impact in various aspects: (1) Producing graduates who are intelligent and have noble character, (2) Making Islamic values basic in education policy, (3) Building a work culture that strategically respects teachers and staff, (4) Producing graduates who are competent, honest, responsible and have a leadership spirit, (5) Making educational institutions a center for da'wah and social empowerment.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the role of pesantren management in facing the digital era with a focus on pesantren management and strategies in facing the digital era. The type of research used is a literature study, where researchers collect and analyze data from various relevant literature, both in the form of books, journal articles, research reports, and other scientific sources. Based on the results of the literature review, the researcher concluded that pesantren in facing the digital era is carried out by conveying moral messages through social media, using mobile applications to learn books, strengthening ukhuwah between students through social media communities and using digital platforms to teach traditional values such as aswaja. Thus, Islamic boarding schools in the digital era need to have readiness, adaptation, and innovation technically and spiritually, in order to remain relevant and contribute to the development of students in the modern era.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran manajemen pesantren dalam menghadapi era digital dengan fokus pada manajemen dan strategi pesantren dalam menghadapi era digital. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, dimana peneliti mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai literatur yang relevan, baik berupa buku, artikel jurnal, laporan penelitian, maupun sumber ilmiah lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil kajian literatur, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa pesantren dalam menghadapi era digital dilakukan dengan penyampaian pesan moral melalui media sosial, penggunaan aplikasi mobile untuk belajar kitab, penguatan ukhuwah antar santri melalui komunitas media sosial dan pemanfaatan platform digital untuk mengajarkan nilai-nilai tradisional seperti aswaja. Dengan demikian, pesantren di era digital perlu memiliki kesiapan, adaptasi, dan inovasi secara teknis maupun spiritual, agar tetap relevan dan berkontribusi bagi perkembangan santri di era modern.

Abstract

Abstract: Principal's learning leadership plays an important role in creating a productive and conducive school environment for teaching and learning. This study aims to analyze the effect of principal learning leadership on communication and academic climate in SMP Negeri 6 Praya. Using a quantitative approach with a correlational design, data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire of 15 items per variable, distributed to 46 respondents consisting of teachers and principals. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using JASP software. The descriptive analysis showed that respondents' perceptions of learning leadership (mean = 22.891; SD = 2.213), communication (mean = 22.978; SD = 1.880), and academic climate (mean = 22.957; SD = 1.955) were in the high category. Regression results showed that principal leadership had a significant effect on communication (R² = 0.566) and academic climate (R² = 0.553). ANOVA test corroborated the significance of the model (F = 54.455; p < 0.001). The regression coefficient of variable X was 0.657 with a standardized coefficient of 0.744 (p < 0.001), indicating a strong and positive influence. This finding confirms the importance of the principal's role in building effective communication and creating a conducive academic climate.Abstrak: Kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang produktif dan kondusif bagi proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah terhadap komunikasi dan iklim akademik di SMP Negeri 6 Praya. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, data dikumpulkan melalui angket skala Likert lima poin sebanyak 15 butir per variabel, yang disebarkan kepada 46 responden terdiri dari guru dan kepala sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan software JASP. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa persepsi responden terhadap kepemimpinan pembelajaran (rata-rata = 22,891; SD = 2,213), komunikasi (rata-rata = 22,978; SD = 1,880), dan iklim akademik (rata-rata = 22,957; SD = 1,955) berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komunikasi (R² = 0,566) dan iklim akademik (R² = 0,553). Uji ANOVA menguatkan signifikansi model (F = 54,455; p < 0,001). Koefisien regresi variabel X sebesar 0,657 dengan koefisien terstandarisasi 0,744 (p < 0,001), menunjukkan pengaruh yang kuat dan positif. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dalam membangun komunikasi efektif dan menciptakan iklim akademik yang kondusif.
