Abstract

Mulch is a surface covering material used to prevent weed growth, protect soil moisture, keep the soil structure stable and protect against erosion. The thickness of the mulch itself is also very influential on the life processes and development of plants. This study aims to determine and study the ratio of types of mulch thickness to observations of the number of fruits of tomato plants.method was used literature review by searching several journals that discussed the thickness of mulch of various types of organic mulch, namely rice straw, rice husk, and reeds using the search engine Google Scholar and Connected Papers with the keywords mulch thickness, type -types of organic mulch, and tomato plants. Several journals show that the difference in dosage or thickness of mulch which is consistent with one level higher than low content is significantly different which affects plant height, number of branches, number of flowering, and number of fruit produced. So it can be concluded that the use of organic mulch is very good for improving the quality of tomato plants and plays an important role in maintaining the stability of temperature, humidity and nutrients in the soil.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Bambang Iswanto Lovebird house regency Malang and the UNISMA Halal Center Laboratory. This study aimed to measure phenotype variation and DNA of male and female Lovebird Albino with a red and black eyes. The material in this study was 40 Lovebird Albino red eyes and black eyes with male sex (MHJ) and female sex (MHB). The experimental design used descriptive quantitative. The research variables followed wing length, chest size, body length and qPCR DNA with gen TYR. The data were analyzed using a T-test unpaired. The phenotype variation in wing length, chest size, and body length between male and female Lovebird Albino red eye showed no significant effect (P>0,05). The average value on wing length was 13,7 ± 1,89 cm (MMJ), 13,2 ± 1,48 cm (MHJ), 13,7 ± 1,31 cm (MMB), 13,2 ± 2,16 cm (MHB). The average value on chest size was 6,5 ± 1,89 cm (MMJ), 6,5 ± 1,48 cm (MHJ), 6,5 ± 0,53 cm (MMB), 6,5 ± 0,53 cm (MHB). The average value for body length was 15,40 ± 0,97 cm (MMJ), 15,20 ± 0,79 cm (MHJ), 15,20 ± 0,79 cm (MMB), 15,20 ± 0,63 cm (MHB). Average values on qPCR DNA were 37,67 ± 1,79 (MMJ), 35,22 ± 3,66 (MHJ), 37,90 ± 2,12 (MMB) and 35,89 ± 2,99 (MHB). The conclusion was phenotype variation and DNA Lovebird Albino red and black eyes on males and females has no significant effect but have propensity Lovebird Albino red eyes both in male and female higher 3,79% until 6,96% compared to black eye seen from wing length and DNA.

Abstract

When constructing wind turbine blades, one of the challenges is deciding on the number of blades, which in turn requires determining their height and diameter. Wind turbine blades need to be structurally sound so that they can spin with minimal wind forces. The primary objectives of this study are to ascertain the wind turbine blade height, diameter, form (specifically, helical type), and number of blades. Literature review, shaft and blade design, analysis, and discussion are all components of the design technique that the research employs. The design findings showed a wind turbine with a 2,280 mm blade height, a 1,820 mm blade diameter, a 13 mm shaft diameter, and a 90° twist, all at a low wind speed of 4.3 m/s.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the application of marketing performance in increasing the number of clients of Rekening Tabungan Jamaah Haji (RTJH, a saving product for customers who plan to do Hajj pilgrimage) at the Sharia-Compliant Business Unit of Bank Sinarmas in the branch office of Malang. Here supporting factors, hindering factors, and strategies in the banks effort to increase the number of clients are also examined. This descriptive qualitative case study uses primary and secondary data; the former was gathered from interviews and observations, while the latter was acquired from documents consisting of annual reports and other relevant information. This study finds that the marketing performance has been successfully implemented, proven by the increasing number of sales and clients as well as by the growing market. The said business unit is also proven able to analyze the supporting and hindering factors and to apply the appropriate marketing strategy using the marketing mix consisting of the Seven Ps. However, the unit has not been able to attain the maximum benefit of the mix, that is in the aspect of place, promotion, people, and physical evidence.

Abstract

At this time there are so many coffee shop businesses, the emergence of a coffee shop business that is currently rapidly bringing a new impact on lifestyle. With a new lifestyle cre­ated by the current generation, pulling coffee shop competition to a new level where the best can survive the competition. This research aims to assess and analyze the effect of pro­duct, price, place, promotion, people, and physical evidence on the loyalty of the customers of Grind Coffee in Pasuruan city. The data of this quantitative explanatory research was har­vested through Likert-scaled questionnaires distributed to the coffee shop’s 85 customers me­eting the criteria as re-quired by purposive sampling technique. Here validity and re­li­a­bi­lity testing were per-formed, and the analyses were conducted using multiple linear re­gre­s­sion in SPSS for Windows version 24. This study finds that product, price, people, and phy­sical evidence positively and significantly affect customer loyalty, while place and promotion did not have any significant effect on the loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive e-module based on problem-based learning for teaching physics, specifically focusing on sound waves. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) utilizing a modified 4D development model, consisting of three stages: Define, Design, and Develop. This e-module is equipped with text, images, videos, animations, and interactive features such as quizzes, exercises, and navigation to facilitate user interaction with the learning materials. The problem-based learning model is applied to focus learning on problem-solving. Needs analysis conducted with 40 eleventh-grade students revealed that 60 percent chose sound waves as the preferred topic, hence it was selected as the research focus. Small and large-scale trials showed increased average scores, and students' response to this e-module was excellent. Validation by four experts yielded an average percentage of 91.5 percent, indicating that this problem-based learning interactive e-module is appropriate for use as a physics learning tool. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul interaktif berbasis problem-based learning pada materi gelombang bunyi yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang dimodifikasi menjadi tiga tahapan: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), dan Develop (Pengembangan). E-modul ini dilengkapi dengan teks, gambar, video, animasi, serta fitur interaktif seperti kuis, latihan soal, dan navigasi untuk memudahkan interaksi pengguna dengan materi pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran problem-based learning diterapkan untuk memfokuskan pembelajaran pada pemecahan masalah. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan terhadap 40 peserta didik kelas XI, menunjukkan bahwa 60 persen memilih materi gelombang bunyi, sehingga dipilih sebagai fokus penelitian. Uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata, dan respon peserta didik terhadap e-modul ini adalah sangat baik. Validasi oleh empat ahli memberikan persentase rata-rata sebesar 91,5 persen, yang mengindikasikan bahwa e-modul interaktif berbasis problem-based learning ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Currently, railway track maintenance in Indonesia still heavily relies on manual labor, which is considered suboptimal due to the considerable time required to achieve optimal results. Furthermore, the accuracy of the data obtained is not always up-to-date. Therefore, with the advancement of information technology, there is a need to develop a device and system to facilitate railway maintenance personnel in automatically checking for damaged or missing rail fasteners. This device utilizes image capture by a camera with object identification at 30 Frames Per Second (FPS) and processes the images using You Only Look Once (YOLO) image processing to display the results visually. Based on the analysis conducted, it is evident that rail fasteners can be detected optimally with a 93.33% accuracy rate at a speed of 5 km/h during the evening. The highest accuracy for the best camera angle placement is 86.66% at a camera angle of 80°. This research demonstrates that the developed device is capable of effectively detecting rail fastener objects. The speed of the locomotive and the placement angle of the camera significantly influence the detection results of rail fastener objects. ABSTRAK Pada saat ini, pemeliharaan jalur rel di Indonesia masih mengandalkan tenaga petugas pemeliharaan secara manual. Hal tersebut dirasa kurang optimal karena waktu pemeliharaan yang cukup lama demi mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Selain itu keakuratan data yang didapatkan, belum sepenuhnya merupakan data terkini. Oleh karena itu, dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, perlu dikembangkan suatu perangkat alat dan sistem untuk memudahkan petugas perawat jalan rel dalam pengecekan penambat yang rusak maupun hilang secara otomatis. Perangkat ini menggunakan pengambilan gambar yang ditangkap kamera dengan hasil identifikasi objek dengan 30 frame per second (FPS), dan diproses dengan pengolahan citra You Only Look Once (YOLO) untuk menampilkan hasil pengolahan secara visual. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, terlihat bahwa penambat dapat terdeteksi secara maksimal dengan persentase 93,33%, pada kecepatan 5 km/jam di waktu sore hari. Akurasi tertinggi untuk perletakan sudut kamera terbaik adalah 86,66% pada sudut kamera 80°. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa perangkat yang dikembangkan sudah mampu mendeteksi objek penambat dengan baik. Kecepatan lori dan peletakan sudut kamera sangat mempengaruhi hasil deteksi objek penambat.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi di lapangan, hasil tes praktek dribbling dengan kaki bagian dalam dan luar pada Siswa SD Negeri Srengseng Sawah 11 Pagi Kecamatan Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan masih kurang maksimal. Adapun yang melatar belakangi permasalahan tersebut adalah disebabkan karena kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana yang mampu mendukung anak untuk memaksimalkan kemampuannya dalam permainan sepak bola tidak tersedia hal tersebut juga diakibatkan karena praktek pembelajaran yang kurang berjalan dengan baik, mungkin karena hal itu yang mengakibatkan anak kurang dapat melakukan keterampilan dalam permainan sepak bola. Karena fakta diatas peneliti berpikiran untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran melalui permainan guna meningkatkan gerak dasar dribbling dimana permainan yang digunakan yaitu permainan zig-zag. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran, bagaimana kinerja guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dan peningkatan hasil belajar dribbling dengan kaki bagian dalam dan luar melalui permainan zig-zag dengan penilaian yang dilakukan pada akhir pembelajaran. Penilaian proses pembelajaran dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan aktivitas anak yang meliputi aspek antusias, disiplin, dan kerjasama. Sedangkan tes akhir dilakukan dengan tes praktik melakukan dsribbling pada pembelajaran sepakbola. Pelaksanaan kinerja guru mengalami peningkatan dari pertemuan I sampai pertemuan IV. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari persentase setiap siklusnya selama penggunaan permainan dribblingpada pembelajaran sepakbola.

Abstract

Kelangkaan energi yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan bahan bakar fosil telah mencapai puncaknya. Sangat penting untuk membangun pembangkit listrik tenaga terbarukan untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Studi ini melihat PT. Telenetina Sarana Teknik Utama di Bandung, Indonesia, untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin (PLTB), Dengan workshop di Babakan Garut, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Indonesia. Indonesia, sebagai negara tropis, memiliki potensi angin yang melimpah, yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber energi terbarukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pada turbin angin tipe horizontal, yang membutuhkan perancangan yang cermat terutama pada panjang batang dan lebar daun ekor. Hal ini penting untuk menghindari kejadian over speed yang dapat merusak komponen turbin. Dua jenis gerakan ekor turbin angin adalah gerakan horizontal (yaw oriented) dan gerakan kombinasi horizontal dan vertikal memastikan efisiensi maksimal, desain ekor turbin harus mempertimbangkan faktor aerodinamika dan stabilitas (pitch-yaw oriented). Penelitian ini berkonsentrasi pada proses pembuatan ekor turbin angin jenis horizontal dengan daya output 1000 watt. Pilihan bahan yang tepat, proses pembuatan yang hati-hati, dan pengujian kinerja yang menyeluruh Untuk. Selain itu, saat memilih material, harus mempertimbangkan kekuatan dan ketahanan korosi.

Abstract

Railways are one of the modes of transportation that prioritize the continuity of operations. One of them is the shunting activity, previously the gesture was delivered with flags, flute, and/lanterns, now it has been developed using Handy Talky (HT). However, in the use of HT and some of these tools, there are still problems. Then the author spreads a questionnaire to the first machinist to assess the constraints and needs of the shunting tool. The research continued with the design of a prototype of a shunting tool using the Research and Development method. Then data analysis was carried out using the percentage descriptive method with a questionnaire assessment with a likert scale to find out the level of needs of the prototype tool to be made. The results of the needs analysis were known, 28 people (63%) rated the need for this tool as high/urgently needed, 6 people (26%) rated moderate/needed, and 4 people (11%) rated low/not needed. It is known that tool pairing can be done with an average time of 4.7 seconds, the farthest distance of the tool connection is 65 meters (without hindrance), and the error rate is 0.37%. ABSTRAK Kereta Api salah satu moda transportasi yang mengedepankan keselamatan operasi. Salah satunya adalah kegiatan langsir, sebelumnya isyarat disampaikan dengan bendera, selompret, dan/lentera, kini sudah dikembangkan menggunakan Handy Talky (HT). Namun dalam penggunaan HT dan beberapa alat tadi masih terdapat permasalahan. Kemudian penulis menyebar kuesioner kepada masinis pertama untuk menilai kendala dan kebutuhan alat bantu langsir. Penelitian dilanjutkan dengan perancangan prototype alat bantu langsir menggunakan metode Research and Development. Kemudian dilakukan analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif persentase dengan penilaian kuisioner berskala likert untuk mengetahui tingkat kebutuhan dari prototype alat yang akan dibuat. Hasil analisis kebutuhan diketahui, 28 orang (63%) menilai kebutuhan akan adanya alat ini tinggi/sangat dibutuhkan, 6 orang (26%) menilai sedang/dibutuhkan, dan 4 orang (11%) menilai rendah/tidak dibutuhkan. Diketahui bahwa pairing alat dapat dilakukan dengan rata-rata waktu 4,7 detik, jarak terjauh koneksi alat adalah 65 meter (tanpa halangan), dan tingkat error sebesar 0,37%.
