Abstract

Era digital merupakan tempat dimana manusia hidup diiringi dengan berkembangnya teknologi digital yang merupakan suatu kemajuan peradaban bagi manusia itu sendiri. Di era digital banyak sekali disrupsi yang terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat, salah satunya literasi media yang mengalami perubahan dari bentuk cetak ke bentuk digital, namun derasnya arus informasi dan sumber informasi yang valid menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi sastra digital, oleh karena itu di dalam rangka menunjang perkembangan motorik, minat membaca, dan upaya memperluas pengetahuan melalui media membaca, PKM ini menggagas program kerja terkait literasi dengan media cetak dan buku buku online melalui “Pojok Baca” berbasis Digital yang berisi berbagai buku dengan informasi referensi terpercaya. Mengembangkan dan meningkatkan literasi menjadi salah satu permasalahan besar bagi pelajar saat ini. Kurangnya minat literasi dan minat membaca khususnya pada siswa disebabkan oleh kurangnya fasilitas di perpustakaan atau penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan. Permasalahan tersebut dikhawatirkan akan semakin banyak anak-anak yang mempunyai minat membaca yang rendah.PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan literasi siswa, dalam hal ini siswa MTs Persiapan Negri Bintang Sembilan Sibabangun, Tapanuli Tengah, Sumatera Utara. Peningkatan literasi tersebut akan dilakukan melalui salah satu program kerja yang dilaksanakan, yaitu yaitu penerapan Pojok Baca berbasis Digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian survey. Masyarakat dikecamatan sibolga selatan masih belum bisa menjalankan suatu usaha seesuai dengan informasi literatur kewirausaahaan.dikecamatan sibolga selatan itu sendiri banyak memiliki usaha sendiri yang bepeluang untuk mengembangkan usahanya lebih baik lagi, bentuk pelatihan dan sosialisasi dari keluharan dan kecamatan masih sebatas informasi dasar yang masih butuh masukan tentang literasi kewirausahaan. . Jumlah polulasi dalam penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 340 kepala keluarga dan sampelnya sebanyak 85 orang. Kewirausahaan merupakan salah satu solusi yang tepat dalam meningkatkan taraf kesejahteraan  serta  mengurangi  angka  pengangguran  di  negara negara  berkembang seperti Indonesia.Dalam beberapa  dekade kebelakang tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa minat  wirausaha di Indonesia sangat rendah sehingga penduduk yang melakukan kewirausahaan  terbilang  kecil.Pemahaman literatur ini sangat diharapkan mampu membuat masyarakat menjadi lebih faham arti dari kewirausahaan.Yang harus diingat oleh wirausahawan adalah bahwa kejujuran sangat melekat pada konsep pemasaran yang berorientasi pada kepuasan konsumen.

Abstract

The goal of the study was to help students become more confident public speakers. The objective is to investigate the efficacy of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) technique in enhancing speaking skills among students at SMPN 3 Padangsidimpuan. Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) is a pedagogical approach that prioritizes communication as the primary objective of language acquisition. This study employs classroom action research, encompassing planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data were acquired by observations, reflections, documentation, and assessments (pre-test and post-test). The implementation of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) technique during the initial cycle demonstrated a gradual enhancement in the students' English speaking proficiency. Improvements were implemented during the learning process in the second cycle. In this second cycle, the English speaking proficiency of grade VIII-1 students improved through the application of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) technique across both cycles. The implementation of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) technique enhances vocabulary mastering among Grade VIII-1 students at SMPN 3 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Language variation, particularly in accent, reflects how cultural and linguistic backgrounds shape communication. This study aims to analyze accent variation used by the members of the Ueno Family in their YouTube channel as a reflection of bilingual interaction and identity. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the data were obtained from several vlog episodes through observation and transcription, focusing on pronunciation, intonation, and accent interference. The results show that the Japanese father demonstrates Japanese accent characteristics when speaking Indonesian, such as vowel length and /r/ articulation, while the Indonesian mother displays traces of Indonesian accent when speaking English. These findings indicate that accent variation in the Ueno Family vlog not only represents linguistic differences but also reveals how language functions as a marker of cultural identity in a multilingual and digital context.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of leadership and human resource management on employee performance at the Housing, Settlement Areas, and Environmental Office of Sibolga City. This research uses an associative causal research design with quantitative data presentation. The population consisted of 439 employees, and the sample was determined as 15% of the total population, resulting in 66 respondents. The data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis method with the assistance of the SPSS data processing application. The results of the study indicate that the correlation between the leadership variable and the human resource management variable with the employee performance variable obtained values of 0.753 and 0.699, which are categorized as very strong and strong correlations. The coefficient of determination shows that leadership and human resource management simultaneously influence employee performance by 64.7%. Furthermore, the t-test results show significant values of 5.588 for leadership and 4.089 for human resource management, where these values are greater than the t-table value of 1.998. Therefore, since t-count > t-table, it can be concluded that the variables of leadership and human resource management have a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of communication and work environment on employee performance at the UPTD Regional Revenue Management of Pandan. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The research sample consists of 58 employees of UPTD Regional Revenue Management of Pandan, who were selected as respondents through a questionnaire survey. The results show that the coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.608, indicating that 60.8% of the variation in employee performance can be explained jointly by communication and work environment, while the remaining 39.2% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study, such as leadership, competence, motivational incentives, and supervision. The t-test results reveal that communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 3.476 > t-table 2.00404 and a significance of 0.001 < 0.05. Likewise, the work environment positively and significantly affects employee performance, with a t-value of 3.709 > t-table 2.00404 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the F-test shows an F-value of 42.682 > F-table 3.16 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that communication and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that UPTD Regional Revenue Management of Pandan continue to enhance effective communication and create a conducive work environment to support the improvement of employee performance.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of service excellence and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Toko Zae Prima Sibolga. A quantitative descriptive method was employed with a sample of 50 respondents using questionnaires and interviews. The results show that service excellence positively affects purchasing decisions (r = 0.269), while product quality has a stronger effect (r = 0.531). Multiple regression analysis indicates that both variables simultaneously explain 52.5% of the variation in purchasing decisions. The t-test and F-test confirm that both variables significantly influence purchasing decisions (p < 0.05). The findings highlight the importance of enhancing product quality supported by excellent service to encourage consumer purchase decisions.

Abstract

Based on the description of the results of research on the effect of welfare and health benefits on work performance at PT. Tirta Indah Abadi Mela (TIAM), it can be concluded as follows: Based on multiple correlation coefficients there is a sufficient/moderate and positive relationship of 0.6 between Welfare and Health Benefits on Work Performance, based on the Determination coefficient obtained at 0.687%, this means that the model's ability to explain variations in work performance by welfare and health benefits is 68.7% at PT. Tirta Indah Abadi Mela (TIAM) Work will increase by the coefficient (0.776) if the Health variable on Work Performance will increase by the coefficient (0.641) plus one unit, and based on the t test conducted on the proposed hypothesis it is accepted (significant) where t count is greater than t table which is 5.240 > 2.04227 which means the influence of Welfare and Health Benefits on Work Performance at PT. Tirta Indah Abadi Mela (TIAM). very sufficient and significant in increasing performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and service quality on consumer purchase intention at UD. Ramli Aek Tolang, Central Tapanuli Regency. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of 450 consumers, with a sample of 45 respondents determined using a percentage sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that partially, both product quality and service quality have a positive and significant effect on consumer purchase intention. Simultaneously, both variables also have a significant effect, with a coefficient of determination of 0.750, indicating that 75% of the variation in purchase intention can be explained by product and service quality. Product quality has a more dominant influence compared to service quality. Therefore, improving both product and service quality simultaneously can be an effective strategy to enhance consumer purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at PERUMDA Mual Nauli, Central Tapanuli Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The population consisted of 133 employees, with a sample of 55 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and incidental sampling technique. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that partially, leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.010, while work discipline has a positive and significant effect with a significance value of 0.001. Simultaneously, leadership style and work discipline significantly affect employee performance with a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.254 indicates that 25.4% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these variables, while the remaining 74.6% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Work discipline is the most dominant variable affecting employee performance.
