Abstract

Background: People with different characteristics are very selective in choosing hospital health services. People would select the hospital with modern, best medical facilities and trained doctors who offer high-quality services consistently. However, having a successful hospital and able to attract patients back is difficult, especially in the context of limited relevant literature. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the effect of brand image and perceived medical quality on intention of re-visit with word of mouth as mediation variable among patients in Sari Asih Cipondoh Hospital, Tangerang. Method: We conduct the cross-sectional study to examine the causalities of independent variable with dependent variable. One hundred seventy-five patients were recruited in this study especially those who have visit the hospital at least once within two year. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS) approach was applied to analyze the data. Result: The results showed that brand image and perceived medical quality had a positive influence on word of mouth and the intention to hospital re-visit and word of mouth had an impact on the intentions to re-visit hospital. Implication: A good hospital brand image perception is enough for the patient to encourage the intention to visit again. Medical quality is considered important to hospitals, as patients can enjoy it immediately, especially in increasing the intention to visit again. In addition, patients will be more confident to use health care if word of mouth is high

Abstract

Current economic development cannot be separated from the banking sector, the role of banks in advancing a country's economy is very large. Then the world was shocked by the phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic which caused restrictions on community activities so that it affected business activities which resulted in affecting the growth and stability of the economy. The Central Statistics Agency report in 2019 was 5.07% and BPS in 2020 was 2.97%, so BPS said the Indonesian economy shrank 2.1%. After recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, the Indonesian economy experienced increased growth of 3.69%. Several things can be seen from the performance report to be able to improve its performance, one indicator that needs to be paid attention to is Return On Assets because this ratio can be used to determine whether the company is effective in gaining overall profits. This research aims to test and compare CAR, NPL, LDR, BOPO, and NIM against ROA from regional development bank financial performance reports for the 2017-2022 period. This research uses 23 Regional Development Bank samples from 2017-2022. This research uses a purposive sampling technique and uses the hypothesis method of multiple linear regression analysis to analyze panel data using Eviews 10 software. The research results show that the variables CAR, NPL, LDR, BOPO, NIM have a simultaneous effect on ROA growth. Loan to Deposit Ratio and Net Interest Margin have a significant influence on Return On Assets. Meanwhile, the Capital Adequency Ratio, Non-Performing Loans, and operational costs and operational income do not have a significant effect on Return on Assets at Regional Development Banks for the 2017-2022 period.

Abstract

Patient loyalty is crucial for hospital business because as the number of hospitals increases, the competition in health services will increase as well. Failure to fulfill patient rights as National Health Insurance participants, poor empathy from healthcare workers, and inadequate physical environment will have a negative impact on patient loyalty. Thus, this study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of patient perception of National Health Insurance participant rights, the empathy of healthcare workers, and hospital's physical environment on patient loyalty of National Health Insurance participants. This study used a quantitative method with questionnaires as the instrument to collect the data. The sample in this study were 186 patients as National Health Insurance participants who hospitalized in RSMC. Purposive sampling was used as the sampling method. The data was analyzed using a statistical method which is multiple regression analysis. Results showed, simultaneously, there was a positive effect of patient perception of National Health Insurance participant rights, the empathy of healthcare workers, and hospital's physical environment on patient loyalty. Partially, all the independent variables had a positive effect on patient loyalty. This study found that the effect of all three independent variables simultaneously is greater than partially on patient loyalty.

Abstract

Delivery using the caesarean section method is one of the JKN-KIS services which has experienced a significant increase in cases from year to year at Graha Sehat Probolinggo Hospital. The general tariff applied by the hospital is IDR 10,800,000, which is 206.15%, far above the INA CBGs tariff of IDR 5,238,800, making the hospital feel the need to carry out descriptive quantitative research using the ABC method and DD method. Then the unit cost results of the ABC method are compared with the INA-CBGs rates. The results of this research show that the unit cost of the ABC method is IDR 5,484,214, which is IDR 245,414 (4.68%) greater than the INA-CBGs tariff. The potential efficiency that can be achieved results in savings of IDR 665,295 so it is hoped that the unit cost of the ABC method will be IDR 4,818,919. IDR 419,881 (8.01%) smaller than the INA-CBGs tariff. The conclusion is that there is a negative difference between the unit costs of the ABC method and the DD method and the INA CBGs rates. Hospitals should submit a tariff review to BPJS, including a review of the provision of separate tariffs for baby handling costs. Apart from that, hospitals also need to make efficiencies by reducing length of stay, reviewing medical services, efficiency in laundry units and CSSD, speeding up RME, as well as efficiency in several other resources while still prioritizing patient safety

Abstract

Background: Craniofacial dysmorphology and dermatoglyphic abnormalities in schizophrenia patients are hypothesized to reflect neurodevelopmental disturbances during embryogenesis. These markers may serve as cost-effective, non-invasive tools for identifying individuals at risk of schizophrenia. Objective: This study aimed to explore craniofacial anthropometry and dermatoglyphic profiles as potential early markers of schizophrenia in the Javanese ethnic population. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted involving 30 schizophrenia patients and 30 matched healthy controls. Craniofacial measurements (cephalic, facial, and nasal indices) were obtained, and fingerprint patterns were analyzed for dermatoglyphic traits. Statistical comparisons employed unpaired T-tests and Mann-Whitney tests. Results: Significant differences were observed in facial index (P<0.01) and nasal index (P<0.05) between schizophrenia and control groups, with hyperleptoprosopic facial types dominating in schizophrenia patients (56.7%). Dermatoglyphic analysis showed no significant differences; however, a higher prevalence of loop patterns and reduced whorl patterns were noted in the schizophrenia group. Conclusion: Craniofacial anthropometry demonstrates promising potential as an adjunctive marker for early schizophrenia risk detection, particularly in resource-limited settings where advanced diagnostic tools are unavailable. Although dermatoglyphic patterns revealed limited statistical significance, observed trends highlight the need for further studies. These findings provide a basis for developing population-specific screening programs and contribute to the understanding of ethnic-specific neurodevelopmental markers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk using various financial ratio analysis methods. The analysis was conducted on the company's financial statements for the period 2022 and 2023. The methods used include liquidity, activity, leverage, and profitability ratio analysis. The results showed that PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk experienced an increase in liquidity and a reduction in leverage but faced a decrease in operational efficiency and profitability. The Current Ratio increased from 3.82 in 2022 to 4.97 in 2023, and the Quick Ratio increased from 3.73 to 4.82. However, Receivable Turnover and Inventory Turnover decreased, indicating a decline in the efficiency of current asset management. The leverage ratio shows a decrease in dependence on debt, but the Interest Coverage Ratio decreased from 104.16 to 77.88, indicating a reduced ability to cover interest expenses. Profitability ratios declined, suggesting a need for improvement in cost management and revenue generation strategies. Overall, the company needs to focus on enhancing operational efficiency and cost management to improve future financial performance.
