Abstract

Cardamom is a leading export commodity. The demand for cardamom continues to increase from year to year, where the increase in cardamom production is inseparable from the role of farmers as the main actors in supporting cardamom productivity. This study aims to analyze the characteristics and socio-economic motivations of cardamom farmers in Pekuncen and Kedungbanteng Districts, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. This research was conducted using descriptive analysis method using a Likert scale. Determining the number of respondents was carried out using stratified random sampling technique,where in this study the number of respondents was 97 farmers. The results of this study are that the majority of cardamom farmers are male and are of productive age. Cardamom farmers have the last education in elementary school (SD) and are in the low education category. Cardamom farmers have only started cultivating cardamom in less than 5 years. The average cardamom farmer has a family of 3-5 people. The socio-economic motivations that encourage farmers to cultivate cardamom are divided into three, namely economic, psychological and sociological motivations. Cardamom farmers in Pekuncen and Kedungbanteng Districts are driven by economic motivation which is in the moderate category. The majority of cardamom farmers are in the low category for fulfilling psychological motivation in cultivating cardamom. Cardamom farmers are driven by sociological motivation which is in the high category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah 1) Mengetahui manajemen produksi keripik nangka organik di PT Banjarnegara Agro Mandiri Sejahtera, 2) Mengetahui permasalahan atau kendala yang dihadapi dalam manajemen produksi keripik nangka organik di PT Banjarnegara Agro Mandiri Sejahtera. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis observasi partisipasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen produksi pada PT Banjarnegara Agro Mandiri Sejahtera terdiri dari perencanaan (perencanaan bahan baku, perencanaan mesin dan peralatan, perencanaan layout pabrik), pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan (pengadaan bahan baku, penimbangan, pengupasan, pemotongan, penimbangan, pembekuan, penggorengan, penirisan, sortasi, packaging primer, packaging sekunder), pengawasan, evaluasi dan pengendalian. Perusahaan juga menghadapi beberapa permasalahan dalam manajemen produksi antara lain berkaitan dengan permasalahan bahan baku mulai dari kualitas dan fluktuasi harga, permasalahan sumber daya manusia yang kurang dari segi jumlah dan kualitas, permasalahan kerusakan mesin serta permasalahan kontinuitas produksi yang tidak stabil karena hanya mengandalkan PO (Pre Order).

Abstract

Vegetable farmers in South Kalimantan use pesticides to protect crops from pests. The active ingredient of the pesticide has a broad toxic effect on target and non-target organisms. Continuous exposure to pesticides causes cancer. The plant of mantle (Stenochlaena palustris) is thought to have potential cytotoxic activity against cancer cell growth. The aim of this study was to examine the potential activity of chemical compounds in anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) exposed to organophosphate pesticides in silico and in ovo. The in silico study used molecular docking and virtual screening methods. The methanol extract of malachite was obtained by maceration method. The in ovo study was carried out by injecting pesticide compounds and methanol extracts of methanol at doses of 0.5 and 1 ppm to free-range chicken eggs. The results of the in silico analysis showed that ethion and neophytadiene had the most negative G values, namely -8.62 kcal/mol and -8.39 kcal/mol, while the natural ligand 8 LY A 500 was -9.19 kcal/mol. The similarity of the type and number of residues in the binding complex between ethion and neophyadiene ligands with ALK protein indicates the potential for competition between ethion and neophyadiene when bound to ALK protein. Neofitadiene is suspected as a compound that has potential as anti-cancer by inhibiting the growth of ALK. Anchovy extract is considered to be able to slow down the rate of cell damage in chicken embryos caused by ethion with its inhibitory ability so that the cell surface is not damaged quickly.

Abstract

Kulit pepaya dan nanas merupakan limbah yang dinggap tidak memiliki nilai ekonomis. Kandungan enzim pada kulit buah nanas dan pepaya dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi bahan aktif sabun melalui proses fermentasi. Bioenzyme yang dihasilkan dari limbah tersebut memiliki banyak manfaat diantaranya sebagai antibkteri dan antioksidan bagi kesehatan kulit. Penelitian ini bertujun untuk merancang model bisnis sabun bioenzyme melalui analisis pasar. Metode analisis menggunakan Business Model Canvas (BMC) dan analisis pasar. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam kepada perusahaan sebagai pakar sabun herbal. Data sekunder diperoleh dari jurnal, website, dan google atau sumber lain yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha sabun bioenzim dari limbah kulit buah memiliki peluang pasar berdasarkan niai produk sebagai produk ramah lingkungan, Sabun bioenzyme memiliki keunggulan yaitu sedikit menggunakan kandungan kimia sehingga lebih aman bagi kesehatan kulit dan tidak bersifat iritan. Target pasar dari sabun bioenzyme merupakan anak-anak usia 4-15 tahun penderita dermatitis. Peluang pasar sabun bioenzyme sangat besar karena jumlah kompetitor yang masih sedikit serta harga produk yang tejangkau dengan mutu yang terjamin.

Abstract

Pesticide active ingredients have widespread toxicity effects on target and non-target organisms. Continuous exposure to pesticides causes cancer. Kelakai is thought to have potential cytotoxic activity against the growth of cancer cells. The aim of this research is to examine the potential activity of chemical compounds on Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) proteins exposed to organophosphate pesticides in silico. Protein and ligand preparation with the Chimera program, Docking using SwissDock, as well as virtual screening using the pkCSM web and ProTox. Ethion and neophytadiene have the most negative ∆G values of -8.62 kcal/mol and -8.39 kcal/mol, respectively. The binding site for ethion and neophytadiene compounds with the ALK protein is right at the active site of the ALK protein. Ethion is the most toxic organophosphate pesticide and has the potential to be cytogenic. Neophytadiene from kelakai compounds has the potential to act as a competitor in inhibiting the ALK protein. The similarity in the type and number of binding residues in ethion and neophytadiene in the ALK protein indicates competition between ethion and neophytadiene.

Abstract

Desa Sokawera, Kecamatan Patikraja, Kabupaten Banyumas memiliki potensi singkong yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Limbah singkong dapat diolah menjadi produk turunan bernilai ekonomi seperti pupuk kompos dan pupuk organik cair (POC). Pupuk kompos dapat meningkatkan struktur tanah, kapasitas tukar kation, dan menyediakan nutrisi penting bagi tanaman, serta mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia yang berdampak negatif pada lingkungan. Metode pelatihan yang meliputi penyuluhan materi, praktik langsung, dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta dari 40% menjadi 85%. Pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik dari limbah singkong di Desa Sokawera berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu KWT Desa Sokawera. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa limbah singkong dapat diubah menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi yang ramah lingkungan, meningkatkan kualitas pertanian, mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat. Keberhasilan pelatihan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal bagi pengembangan produk turunan lainnya dari limbah singkong yang lebih inovatif dan bernilai tambah.

Abstract

Kebutuhan pangan daerah dapat dicukupi dengan pangan lokal daerah tersebut, jika dimanfaatkan dan diolah dengan baik. Pengolahan pangan lokal, khususnya singkong, memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Desa Sokawera, Kabupaten Banyumas. Desa Sokawera dikenal sebagai penghasil singkong dengan luas lahan singkong sebesar 29 hektar. Dalam upaya memanfaatkan potensi tersebut, dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan oyek instan berbahan dasar tepung mocaf oleh PPK Ormawa UKMPR Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah pangan lokal, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan kemandirian masyarakat. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta mendorong terciptanya masyarakat yang inovatif sesuai dengan tujuan pengabdian masyarakat. Alat yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini meliputi kertas kuesioner, pulpen, proyektor, laptop, dan pengeras suara. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini dibagi menjadi empat tahap, diantaranya pengerjaan pre-test, penyuluhan, demonstrasi dan praktik pembuatan oyek mocaf, serta pengerjaan post-test. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan pada peserta, ditunjukkan melalui perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Pengembangan produk pangan lokal seperti oyek instan juga diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif sumber pangan yang bernilai tinggi dan diterima oleh masyarakat luas.

Abstract

Studi ini penting dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala produksi jamur kancing yang signifikan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan kualitas hasil panen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko, faktor penyebab risiko dan strategi penanganan risiko pada teknologi produksi jamur kancing di PT Eka Timur Raya II. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode fishbone analysis. Data-data penelitian didapatkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil analisis fishbone menunjukkan risiko bibit terkontaminasi pada sub-unit pembibitan, casing soil mengandung toxin pada sub-unit produksi casing soil, kompos tidak sesuai standar pada sub-unit komposting, dan gagal panen pada sub-unit penanaman. Strategi penanganan risiko dilakukan melalui metode preventif dan mitigasi pada setiap sub-unit guna mencegah dan mengurangi dampak risiko yang terjadi.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) at SDN 6 Telangkah, Desa Hampalit, was chosen as a topic for community engagement due to the need for improving the quality of education. Given the challenges of access and quality in education, KKN serves as an important means to empower the community and integrate theory with practice. The method used is participatory, involving teachers, students, and staff at every stage of the activities, from problem identification to evaluation. Activities included the "Go Mengaji" program to enhance skills in reading the Al-Qur'an, cleanliness socialization through interactive approaches, and teaching various subjects. The results of the KKN implementation indicate a significant improvement in students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an/Iqra, higher motivation to learn due to the created murals, and increased awareness of the importance of cleanliness. Overall, the outcomes of KKN emphasize that community service can positively impact education and character development in students. Therefore, collaboration between academics and the community is crucial for creating a better learning environment, ensuring that quality education is accessible to all segments of society.

Abstract

Background. Analysis of nursing data has been carried out manually based on the knowledge and experience of nurses with the main reference being the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards (SDKI). This has limitations, namely that the nursing diagnosis determined is not comprehensive and requires a relatively long time to validate with the SDKI. Even though the hospital has Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) for documentation of nursing care, the selection of nursing diagnoses is still manual and there are no tools for nurses to analyze nursing data based on the SDKI at the early stages of the nursing process. Therefore, it is important to develop nursing data analysis tools that can be accessed online. Methods. The aim of this research is to develop a website to automate nursing data analysis. The design of this research is the waterfall method which consists of communication, planning, modeling, construction and deployment. Results. The research results show that the website-based tool for nursing data analysis can be accessed via https://bit.ly/ramutnursingdataanalysis or https://rnda.ramut.my.id. Conclusion. Website-based tool for nursing data analysis can be accessed and used by nurses anywhere and at any time to analyze nursing data so that nurses can determine nursing problems more quickly and precisely according to the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards.
