Abstract

Setiap anak berhak untuk mendapatkan layanan pendidikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Haltersebut sebagai upaya untuk mneghantarkkan perkembangan anak agar dapat menjadi manusia paripurna.Layanan pendidikan iinklusi telah mendapatkan dukungan positif dari pemerintah. Hanya saja dalampelaksanaannya dibutuhkan inovasi agar mendapatkan dukunga positif dari semua pihak. Terutama persepsipositif terhadap siswa ABK yang harus didorong dengaan upaya tertentu. Unjuk bakat menjadi salah satuprogram SMK Pariwisata IT Nurul Imam Kabupaten Bandung Barat sebagai upaya mendorong persepsi positif.Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode kualitatif dengan strategi fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwaprogram unjuk bakat diawali dengan assessment terhhadap potensi yang dimiliki ABK. Identifikasi terhadapminat dan bakat siswa ABK diikuti dengan upaya untuk pengembangannya. Kerjasama dengan orangtuadilakukan agar terjadi pembinaan berkesinambungan dan selaras dengan sekolah. Sekolah memfasilitasi unjukbakat siswa ABK melalui program rutin dan insidental yang dilaksanakan oleh sekolah. Sarana dan prasaranapendukung masih dalam upaya pemenuhan secara bertahap.

Abstract

Abstract system as a whole so that cultural patterns that have been implemented down and down can be implemented optimally. It can be concluded that the social system in Kampung Gede Kasepuhan Ciptagelar The indigenous people of Kasepuhan Ciptagelar still carry on their ancestral traditions for hundreds of years but can adapt to the times. This research uses a qualitative method with ethnographic studies. The sample of this study used purposive sampling. Based on the analysis of four functions in the form of 1) adaptation (filtering), namely by filtering the modernization adopted with a category that does not harm customs, 2) goal attainment (attainment of goals) as indicated by the philosophy of life as a basic grip with the meaning of life goals to achieve happiness world and the hereafter, 3) integration (integration) of the system in Ciptagelar can make all aspects run well and orderly and are related to each other based on the ties of religious rules (nests), state (nagara), and customs (mokaha), 4) latency (latency or pattern maintenance) carried out by the Ciptagelar community, namely by implementing the can survive based on the identification of the four functions mentioned above. Keywords: indigenous people, Ciptagelar, social system

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai pranata sosial memiliki komponen yang saling berkaitan. Sekolah inklusi sebagai salah satu bentuk pendidikan terpadu perlu untuk dianalisis komponennya agar diketahui optimalisasi penyelenggaraannya. Maka dalam penelitian ini dianalisis pranata pendidikan inklusi dengan mengidentifikasi pelaksanaan lima komponennya berupa tata kelakuan, fungsi sosial, aktor, perilaku berpola, dan sarana prasarana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode fenomenologi dengan teknik wawancara yang diengkapi observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponen pranata pendidikan terlaksana pada sekolah ini. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, komponen tata kelakuan terlaksana berlandaskan pada sumber norma tertulis dan tidak tertulis tetapi belum terbentuk peraturan khusus yang mengatur perilaku di sekolah inklusi. Fungsi sosial tercermin dalam visi, misi, dan program sekolah. Pemegang peran di sekolah ini adalah pimpinan yayasan, struktural sekolah, guru pembimbing khusus, guru mata pelajaran, siswa, dan orangtua. Namun untuk tim ahli inklusi belum dimiliki sehingga pelaksanaan perannya berbasis pada pengalaman dan analisis internal. Perilaku berpola dari aktor di sekolah ini masih belum optimal dilaksanakan, maka dibutuhkan pembinaan khusus agar masingmasing aktor dapat berperan sesuai fungsinya. Sedangkan dari sarana dan prasarana masih belum optimal tersedia dan pemenuhannya dilakukan secara bertahap. Secara umum komponen tersebut terlaksana, meskipun masih dibutuhkan optimalisasi salah satunya dengan proses pendampingan terutama dari pihak dinas pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Kuttab in Indonesia as an agent for the socialization of religious values in the context of modernization. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, analyzing scientific articles published between 2014 and 2024. Talcott Parsons' Structural Functional Theory is used to examine how Kuttab adapts, functions, and remains relevant within modern Islamic education. The findings reveal that Kuttab successfully adapts to modernization through an independent curriculum rooted in classical Islamic teachings, such as the Qur'an and Hadith, while integrating contemporary knowledge. Technology is utilized selectively to support learning without compromising religious principles. Additionally, Kuttab actively socializes faith and moral values, not only through classroom activities but also by involving parents in the learning process. The success of Kuttab in maintaining its relevance depends on the integration of internal components (educators, students) and external factors (parents, community, government). Traditional educational methods, such as lectures and memorization, are preserved to maintain Islamic cultural heritage and shape young generations with strong Islamic character. This study offers practical insights for modern Islamic educational institutions to design adaptive curricula that remain rooted in traditional values and emphasizes parental involvement in education. The findings also support Structural Functional Theory, highlighting the importance of integration in maintaining social stability through education.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) mulai semakin berkembang dan banyak dimanfaatkan terutama dalam dunia pendidikan dan penyusunan karya ilmiah. Salah satu aplikasi yang dimanfaatkan adalah ChatGPT yang dapat membantu percepatan penulisan karya ilmiah. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan Artifical Intellegent berbantu ChatGPT dalam pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah di MAN 1 Pontianak. Dalam era revolusi 4.0, teknologi seperti ChatGPT menjadi alat bantu penting dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 9 September 2024, diikuti oleh 20 siswa dari berbagai kelas di MAN 1 Pontianak. Aktivitas pelatihan mencakup pemaparan materi, panduan teknis, dan coaching clinic penggunaan ChatGPT. Sebanyak 19 atau sebesar 99,38% siswa MAN 1 Pontianak memberikan respon yang positif menggunakan artificial intelligence berbantu ChatGPT dan terdapat 1 siswa kesulitan dalam menggunakan artificial intelligence berbantu ChatGPT. Kesimpulan di dalam pelatihan ini, teknologi AI berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa MAN 1 Kota Pontianak dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa tentang struktur dan format penulisan karya tulis ilmiah dengan memanfaatkan AI serta menumbuhkan kesadaran pemanfaatan AI sesuai etika dan kaidah ilmiah.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the effectiveness of students' scientific writing through training in the use of Mendeley Reference Manager. The training was conducted for 10 students of the Tanjungpura University Sociology Education Study Program using lecture and hands-on methods which included delivering material through presentations, practicing the installation and use of Mendeley features, as well as discussion and mentoring. The method used is field research as a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques were participant observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data sources came from primary and secondary data. The results of the activity showed 90% of participants successfully used Mendeley to manage references and organize citations automatically, improving the quality and consistency of their scientific writing. Evaluation through pre-test showed 10% of participants had excellent understanding, 40% good, 10% fair, and 40% poor. After the training, the post-test showed improvement, with 50% of participants feeling very satisfied, 40% satisfied, and 10% moderately satisfied. This activity proves that Mendeley training is effective in reducing citation format errors and the risk of plagiarism, as well as encouraging a better academic culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the personality development program as a social control mechanism in the Sungai Raya Class II Special Child Development Institution, which includes three main aspects, namely, planning, implementation, and program implementation results. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants are determined by purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria that have been set. The results of this study show that the implementation of the personality development program as a social control mechanism at the Sungai Raya Class II Special Children's Development Institution has been effective in strengthening internal social control, so that the behavior of the fostered children becomes better and positive, both mentally and socially. Program implementation planning has been carried out systematically through program determination, success indicators, those in charge of implementing the program and compiling a structured schedule of activities. The implementation of the personality development program consists of a religious development program implemented by the Ministry of Religion of Pontianak City and an intellectual development program implemented by the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) Khadijah Kubu Raya. The results of the program implementation show that there are positive changes in attitudes, behaviors, active involvement both psychologically and emotionally, discipline in participating in activities, and increasing religious and intellectual knowledge of the fostered children. Thus, this research is expected to be an academic reference and provide practical benefits in the development and implementation of programs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form of mechanical solidarity within the Honda Astrea Rider Club (HARC) community in Singkawang through the perspective of Émile Durkheim. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with four informants selected using purposive sampling, supported by interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that mechanical solidarity in HARC is manifested through three main aspects: first, collective consciousness in the form of shared values of togetherness, kinship, and mutual assistance, which shape the group’s identity; second, normative consensus reflected in members’ adherence to community rules, maintained by the role of the leader and reinforced by social sanctions; and third, a simple division of labor without role specialization, where all members participate equally based on the principle of mutual cooperation. These findings affirm that mechanical solidarity continues to exist in modern communities built on shared interests and common values, while also contributing to sociological studies on the relevance of Durkheim’s theory in contemporary contexts and opening opportunities for further research on the potential shift from mechanical to organic solidarity within motorcycle communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of volunteers in the implementation of the literacy program at Rumah Pintar Punggur Cerdas, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency. The low literacy rate in Indonesia highlights the importance of community-based non-formal education, in which Rumah Pintar functions as a strategic learning center. Volunteers play a crucial role as facilitators, motivators, and innovators in ensuring the sustainability of the literacy program. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving active volunteers and program organizers at Rumah Pintar Punggur Cerdas. The findings show that volunteers act as facilitators by assisting reading activities and creating an inclusive learning environment; as motivators by fostering reading interest and building emotional connections with participants; and as innovators through the use of media, technology, and creative ideas tailored to community needs. However, the implementation of these roles faces several challenges, such as the limited number of volunteers, inadequate facilities, and the lack of community support. These findings emphasize that volunteer involvement is a key factor in ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of community-based literacy programs. This study is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the study of non-formal literacy education as well as practical insights for strengthening the role of volunteers in literacy initiatives.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in diverse cultures and traditions, one of which can be found in West Kalimantan, known as the “Land of a Thousand Rivers.” In Landak Regency, the Dayak Kanayatn community continues to preserve their ancestral heritage through the Balala’ Traditional Ceremony, a one-day fasting or quiet period as an expression of respect to God (Jubata), nature, and their ancestors. However, modernization has led to a decline in the younger generation’s interest in maintaining this tradition. This study aims to analyze strategies for preserving the Balala’ Traditional Ceremony using Talcott Parsons’ AGIL theory, which includes the functions of Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration, and Latency (Pattern Maintenance). The research employs a descriptive qualitative method through observation, semi structured interviews, and documentation. The results show that the community has adapted the tradition to modern developments while maintaining its spiritual and social purposes, strengthening social integration through collective participation, and preserving cultural values through regeneration and the use of digital media.
