Abstract

This research aims to investigate the ideas, contributions, and involvement of Bukhari Iskandar in Islamic education in Labuhanbatu. Using a qualitative approach, this study employed in-depth interviews with Bukhari Iskandar’s colleagues to gather relevant data. This research indicates that Bukhari Iskandar is influential in advancing Islamic education in Labuhanbatu. His innovative ideas, including a contextual approach to religious learning, information and communication technology, and character education, have brought about positive changes in teaching and learning religion. Bukhari Iskandar’s contributions are also evident in developing a comprehensive Islamic education curriculum, intensive teacher training, and the writing and publishing of quality books. The findings of this study provide a deep understanding of the efforts made by Bukhari in strengthening religious education, enhancing teaching quality, and expanding access to Islamic education in the region.

Abstract

This research investigates the activities of Islamic education within the context of women’s mysticism consultation at Babussalam Langkat using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological lens. Drawing on data from observations, interviews, documentation studies, and triangulation involving Tuan Guru, Mu’allimah Thariqat Naqsyabandiyah participants, and female salik in Babussalam Langkat, the study aims to shed light on the multifaceted dynamics of this spiritual practice. Findings unveil the historical evolution of female participation activities within the Naqsyabandiyah Order of Babussalam Langkat. Activities encompass intentions, repentance, seeking forgiveness, ablution, remembrance, communication with the Mu’allimah, dream interpretation struggles, congregational prayers, spiritual focus, and inner refinement. Outcomes include inner tranquillity, proximity to Allah SWT, heightened worship enjoyment, and fostering sincerity and kindness. The outcomes contribute to an enriched comprehension of mystical practices within the socio-cultural milieu while delving into the educational implications for women in their journey toward inner peace and spiritual enlightenment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the values of social education in the book 'Iqd Al Jawāhir and to find out the implementation of the values of social education in the book 'Iqd Al Jawāhir. The research method used is content analysis because this research is a study of the text contained in the book 'Iqd Al Jawāhir through a qualitative analysis approach. This research places more emphasis on the strength of data analysis on data sources obtained from books, writings or so-called literature studies and by relying on existing theories to be interpreted broadly and deeply. Based on the research results, that the values of social education in the book 'Iqd Al Jawāhir by Syekh Jaafar Al Barzanji are: First: The value of social education contained in the book 'Iqd Al Jawāhir includes the following social values: piety to Allah, love of the prophet Muhammad, carrying out social ethics which includes: ethics in association, rights to children, rights to parents and family, to the profession, and honest morals in delivery, morals in choosing a partner, qona'ah, patience, resignation, ethics of saying good and giving moral greetings, do not belittle others.Second: The implementation of the moral values contained in 'Iqd Al Jawāhir is reflected in that a teacher must have the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad, and teach them to his students. namely honest, merciful, forgiving, friendly, kind, and ascetic. To carry out tasks (efforts) in instilling morals in students there are many ways that every educator can do through various attitudes, including: Associating, Providing role models, Inviting and practicing.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a religious activity development program based on zoom meeting virtualization at MIN 8 Asahan. The focus of the discussion includes the study of teaching methods, materials (learning content), as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in developing religious activities through zoom meetings. Data collection techniques using documentation, interviews, and observations. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the first study show that the teacher's method is based on aspects of daily, weekly, and monthly activities, based on aspects of the semester and annual activities using the synergetic teaching method. The teacher's material is carried out through evaluation. The evaluation uses an evaluation assessment through oral, written, and deed tests. The supporting factor is the existence of a collaboration between the district ministry of religion and the local education office and the support from school principals, teachers, learning communities, and Madrasah committees. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of available time and volume of distribution of hours for the implementation of activities, meanwhile, the intensity and number of enthusiasts in one activity item takes up to 5 hours, and internet services sometimes experience network disturbances. The lack of optimization of the provision of facilities and infrastructure coupled with the quality of the distribution of developments whose coverage is inadequate, such as fast internet service facilities and development activities outside of school hours is not sufficient.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic counseling (BK) for students' mental development at the Tanjung Balai City Madrasah. This type of research is a qualitative category with a descriptive study method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and document review. Then the data were analyzed by data reduction steps, data exposure, and drawing conclusions. In this case, the data were checked by using credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability techniques. The results of this study indicate that BK services at the Tanjung Balai City Madrasah in an effort to develop students' mentality are carried out well. This is indicated by (1) Islamic BK activity programs and mental development of students covering the fields of faith, morals, worship, and muamalah; (2) stages of Islamic BK services in students' mental development, namely case identification, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy, evaluation, and follow-up; (3) Islamic counseling services have an impact in the form of students' ability to adapt at school and in the community; (4) assisting students in self-control when socializing. Likewise, there are several obstacles in the implementation of Islamic BK in the mental development of students, namely the minimum ratio of BK teachers compared to students in madrasas and limited BK service facilities. The solutions offered are the massive efforts of BK teachers to participate in offline and online training and the provision of BK facilities in madrasah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi profesional guru pendidikan Agama Islam, menganalisis cara sekolah dalam mengevaluasi kompetensi profesional guru pendidikan Agama Islam, dan menganalisis upaya sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Tritech Informatika Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, teknik dalam mengumpulkan data penelitian menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil temuan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) pada kompetensi profesional guru pendidikan agama Islam dapat menguasai materi, struktur, konsep dan ilmu-ilmu pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, 2) sekolah mampu mengevaluasi kompetensi profesional guru PAI dalam menguasai standar kompetensi mata pelajaran yang di ampuh. 3) upaya yang dilakukan sekolah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru pendidikan agama Islam di SMK Tritech Informatika Medan dapat dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam membantu meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru pendidikan agama Islam.

Abstract

Studi ini menyajikan analisis bibliometrik terkait implementasi program merdeka belajar. Dengan menggunakan basis data Dimensions, studi ini mengkaji artikel-artikel penelitian yang mengandung kata "merdeka belajar"  pada judul dan abstrak yang terbit pada tahun 2022. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada 500 artikel yang terbit pada jurnal nasional atau internasional yang berindeks pada database Dimensions. Metode bibliometrik pada meta data setiap artikel yang diambil dari database Dimensions kemudian diolah menggunakan biblioshiny. Hasilnya berupa data statistik terkait publikasi terkait. Visualisasi riset menggunakan VOSviewer untuk mendapatkan tren dan peta penelitian pada tahun 2022. Hasil analisis menunjukkan rerata dari 10 penulis yang paling produktif adalah tiga publikasi pada tahun 2022. Zulkardi dari Universitas Sriwijaya menjadi urutan teratas dengan tiga publikasi, namun hanya mendapatkan satu sitasi. Jurnal Edukatif dan Jurnal Basic Edu menguasai jumlah artikel yang terbit terkait dengan topik merdeka belajar pada tahun 2022. Tren penelitian pada topik ini ditemukan lima klaster utama, namun hal menarik Sekolah Dasar menjadi objek penelitian yang paling banyak didiskusikan pada tahun ini

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research on violent education. Using the Scopus database, the study examines research articles containing the term "violence education" in the title that were published globally over a 25-year period from 1998 to 2022. A total of 503 articles were identified, with the United States found to be the most productive country in terms of research on violent education, with 168 publications and the most citations. The study also revealed that research on this topic has been increasing in recent years, peaking in 2022. The analysis also found that "violence," "education," and "intimate partner violence" were the top three keywords related to the topic. The study concludes that preventing violence is an essential aspect of violence education and highlights the importance of ongoing research to develop effective strategies for preventing violence in education and promoting peaceful and safe environments for all

Abstract

Awalnya berlangsung Pendidikan terjadi sederhana, dengan masjid sebagai pusat proses pembelajaran, Alquran dan Hadis sebagai kurikulum utama Rasulullah sendiri berperan sebagai guru dalam proses Pendidikan, namun Islam mengalami perkembangan sampai ke seluruh dunia. Institusi pendidikan Islam merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam mencapai keberhasilan proses pendidikan, karena Institusi berfungsi sebagai mediator dalam mengatur jalannya proses pendidikan. Institusi pendidikan Islam adalah wadah atau tempat berlangsungnya proses pendidikan Islam yang bersamaan dengan proses pembudayaan, dan itu dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga. Sehingga penelitian ini membahas terkait Institusi Pendidikan Islam seperti Masjid, Kuttab dan Madrasah. Metode ini termasuk metode penelitian kualitatif dan termasuk jenis penelitian analisilis deskriptif. Penelitian studi kepustakaan ini termasuk pada penyelidikan teoretis dan sumber-sumber lain mengenai prinsip, tradisi, dan standar yang berkembang dalam konteks sosial yang sedang diperiksa Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memperoleh informasi yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang sedang diselidiki melalui keterlibatan dalam pertanyaan perpustakaan tambahan seperti membaca buku, majalah, artikel, dan karya ilmiah sebelumnya. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Masjid, sebagai pusat ibadah dan pertemuan komunitas Muslim, telah menjadi tempat awal pendidikan Islam. Di dalam masjid, para ulama akan memberikan pengajaran agama kepada umat Muslim, termasuk membaca Al-Qur'an, mempelajari hadis, dan memahami praktik ibadah. Kuttāb adalah institusi pendidikan Islam awal yang berfokus pada pendidikan dasar. kuttāb menyediakan tempat bagi anak-anak untuk belajar membaca, menulis, dan mempelajari dasar-dasar agama Islam, seperti tafsir Al-Qur'an dan hukum Islam. Madrasah merupakan perkembangan lebih lanjut dari kuttāb dan menjadi institusi pendidikan Islam yang lebih terstruktur. Madrasah didirikan dengan tujuan menyediakan pendidikan yang lebih mendalam dan komprehensif dalam bidang ilmu agama, seperti tafsir, hadis, fiqh, dan bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This research will describe how implementing Islamic religious education shapes the Muslim personalities of students at the Indah Integrated Islamic Private Junior High School in Medan. The method used in this research is qualitative. The subjects determined in this study are Islamic religious education teachers. Then, the author uses interviews, observation, and documentation in the data collection. While the technical analysis that the author uses involves data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, the results showed that implementing Islamic religious education has a positive effect on forming students' personalities. Students become better in terms of attitude, behaviour, and morals. First, the Islamic religious education curriculum at Indah Integrated Islamic Private Junior High School focuses on developing a comprehensive understanding of Islamic values and teachings. Secondly, the school uses an integrated approach to religious education, integrating religious and academic learning. Thirdly, this integrated approach successfully instils moral and ethical values alongside academic knowledge. Fourthly, the school's efforts in promoting Islamic education are visible in students' behaviour and learning.
