Abstract

Urgensi penelitian adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA pada materi tata surya sehingga diperlukan penggunaan multimedia interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa kelas V di SDN 10 Tolitoli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam mendukung penyelesaian proyek siswa pada materi Tata Surya pada siswa kelas V di SDN 10 Tolitoli. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan akan pembelajaran IPA yang lebih menarik dan kontekstual, khususnya terkait topik Tata Surya yang memerlukan visualisasi konkret untuk memudahkan pemahaman siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi tes (pretest dan posttest) untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep, lembar observasi untuk memantau keterlibatan belajar siswa, rubrik penilaian proyek untuk menilai model atau presentasi Tata Surya, serta angket untuk mengukur respon siswa terhadap penggunaan multimedia interaktif. Sampel penelitian diambil secara total sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan skor hasil belajar dan statistik inferensial melalui uji paired sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 untuk menguji perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini didukung melalui penggunaan instrumen yang terstruktur (rubrik dan lembar observasi) serta uji asumsi prasyarat berupa uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk untuk memastikan data berdistribusi normal sebelum dilakukan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas proyek siswa, terutama pada aspek kreativitas visual, pemahaman konsep posisi dan gerak benda langit, serta kemandirian dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Selain itu, siswa memberikan respon yang sangat positif terhadap penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran Tata Surya. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan kualitas proyek pada materi Tata Surya di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan memperkuat nilai toleransi dan gotong royong dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar melalui penerapan Value Detection Model (VDM). Model ini menekankan proses identifikasi, refleksi, dan internalisasi nilai secara kontekstual dan partisipatif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan 20 siswa kelas IV SDN Sandana, Kabupaten Tolitoli, melalui observasi, penyampaian materi, evaluasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa VDM berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman nilai toleransi, ditandai dengan lima siswa yang mampu menjelaskan konsep toleransi serta menunjukkan sikap menghargai perbedaan. Selain itu, enam belas siswa memperlihatkan perilaku gotong royong melalui kerja sama, saling membantu dalam mengerjakan tugas proyek. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa VDM merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam penguatan karakter peserta didik dan relevan diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran berbasis nilai di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan Program Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) pada min 1 Toli-Toli dalam konteks kurikulum Merdeka. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi siswa, guru, kepala sekolah, pengawas, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi P5 menerima dukungan positif dari berbagai pihak dan berdampak pada peningkatan karakter dan keterampilan sosial siswa. Namun, sejumlah tantangan ditemukan, seperti batasan waktu, kebutuhan untuk biaya tambahan, dan adaptasi guru terhadap penilaian berbasis proses. Kontroversi muncul ketika cita-cita kebijakan tidak sejalan dengan kondisi nyata di sekolah. Program P5 dianggap relevan, tetapi masih memerlukan bantuan dan penyesuaian berkelanjutan terhadap karakteristik lokal untuk implementasi yang optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam mengatasi disleksia interpretatif pada siswa kelas V di SDN Sandana dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru mengenali kesulitan siswa melalui ketidakmampuan memahami dan menjelaskan teks. Guru memberikan dukungan emosional dan menggunakan metode membaca berulang serta membaca bersama untuk membantu pemahaman siswa. Pujian dan reward diberikan untuk meningkatkan motivasi. Faktor penghambat termasuk keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua, dan fasilitas yang terbatas. Meskipun ada tantangan, upaya guru memberikan hasil positif, meskipun perubahannya masih bertahap. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya dukungan lebih lanjut dari sekolah dan orang tua untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to : (1) determine the learning styles of outstanding students in class V Aof SD Negeri 5 Tolitoli; (2) to know the supporting and inhibiting factors of the outstanding students in class V A of SD Negeri 5 Tolitoli. This type of research is a qualitative research, where in collecting data using observation interview, and documentation teshniques. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study indicate that thelearning styles of outstanding students at SD Negeri 5 Tolitoli can be implemented effectively through 3 indicators, namely visual learning styles, auditory learning styles and kinesthetic learning styles, while those that cannot be separated from the supporting and inhibiting factors at SD Negeri 5 Tolitoli

Abstract

Every learning activity that uses a model allows learning interactions between teachers and students, as well as between students and other students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of elementary school students' science learning projects in the Merdeka Belajar era through the implementation of guided inquiry learning. The research method is Quasi Experimental Design which does not require the sample to be randomly selected (random). This study involved all students at SD Negeri Kabinuang, with a sample of class V selected through a purposive mechanism. Written test instruments, direct observation, and documentation were used to collect data. Analyzed inferentially by using the results of processed statistical data. The results showed that the question-directed learning model is very effective in carrying out science projects in the Merdeka Belajar era. These results can be generalized in a broader context. The guided inquiry model is proven to be effective and appropriate to be applied in science learning based on science projects in elementary schools when used for science project activities that are in accordance with the desired learning concepts in the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

The transformation of school libraries into literacy-based learning centers in elementary schools is a strategy to improve students' reading and critical thinking culture. The purpose of this study is to analyze the managerial role of school library managers in building a reading literacy culture at SDN Sandana. Data collection techniques by conducting observation activities, interviews with one of the educators to collect information or data to support data analysis. The results of the study show that effective managerial supervision plays an important role in supporting the transformation by proving that respondents' satisfaction with the following aspects: (1) Innovation of School Library Facilities (87.46%), (2) Development of Library Collections (83.56%), (3) Evaluation of Library Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) (84.39%), (4) Library Human Resource Management (84.20%), and (5) Development of Literacy Movement in the School Environment (83.12%). The implication of this research lies in strengthening the role of libraries as a dynamic learning environment in improving students' overall educational literacy.

Abstract

The ethnoscience learning strategy is designed to develop students' ethnographic insight into scientific knowledge by combining modern science with traditional knowledge possessed by local communities or specific ethnic groups. As such, its implementation in elementary schools is highly relevant for developing students' appreciation of local wisdom values. The assessment of its effectiveness served as the primary basis for conducting this study, which was analyzed using a case study-based mixed-methods approach involving teachers and students from grades IV, V, and VI as a representation of the population at SDN 1 Nalu. The findings show that ethnoscience learning, based on strengthening local wisdom values, is highly effective in several ways: (1) increasing students' understanding of ethnoscience concepts; (2) improving students' critical thinking skills related to the development of local wisdom and scientific insights; (3) fostering the development of scientific attitudes; and (4) promoting the development of students' character in relation to local wisdom. The implications of these findings suggest that ethnoscience learning is an approach that stimulates the development of students' scientific concepts in connection with cultural heritage and the practice of local wisdom values in Tolitoli Regency, thereby increasing students' awareness of regional cultural heritage.

Abstract

Effective communication skills constitute a crucial foundation for the development of children’s social and academic competencies, making it essential to cultivate these skills from an early age in elementary education. This study aims to enhance students’ effective communication skills through the implementation of the Quantum Teaching Model (QTM), which is believed to foster interactive learning and improve students’ communicative abilities. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, involving 20 students from SD Negeri 2 Tambun, selected through representative sampling. Students were presented with open-ended problems requiring multiple solutions, thereby stimulating critical thinking and creativity. Data analysis was integrated with triangulation techniques through stages of data collection, simplification, categorization, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate an improvement in students’ communication skills across the dimensions of curiosity (13.40%), attitude (8.25%), competitiveness (12.89%), and external motivation (14.44%). These findings affirm that the implementation of QTM promotes more active and participatory learning interactions, thereby enhancing students’ communication skills and supporting the development of 21st-century competencies, particularly critical thinking, collaboration, and interactive communication. This study provides significant contributions to the development of QTM-based instructional strategies oriented toward improving students’ communication competencies and classroom interactions.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the challenges faced by teachers in adapting Indonesian language instruction to emerging technological platforms at the elementary school level. Such conditions have contributed to the suboptimal implementation of digital-based learning in classroom settings. The study employed a qualitative approach with an exploratory research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of teachers’ adaptation processes toward new educational technologies. The findings revealed five major challenges encountered by teachers in their efforts to adjust to technological advancements in the learning process of Grade V students at SDN 3 Nalu, particularly in the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) smartboard technology. These findings indicate that teachers’ innovative capabilities and pedagogical flexibility play a strategic role in enhancing students’ participation and learning motivation. Despite encountering various obstacles, teachers demonstrated strong adaptive capacities through several initiatives. The implications of this study highlight the importance of strengthening teachers’ digital literacy, providing continuous professional development and training opportunities, and ensuring equitable access to technological infrastructure to support a more effective and sustainable transformation of educational practices.
