Abstract

This research is descriptive research with a survey method. The aim of this research is to determine the level of numeracy literacy skills of class VIII students at SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar. The population of this study were all students in class VIII at SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar, consisting of 3 classes with a total of 89 students. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique so that the sample was determined if all members of the population were used as samples and the total research sample was 89 students. The research instrument is a test instrument for numeracy literacy skills with 15 questions and critical thinking skills with 15 questions. The data collection technique is by administering the test directly. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the analysis can be concluded that the level of numeracy literacy skills is in the "low" category with an average value of 30.34.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the level of scientific literacy skills among Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 27 Makassar, (2) the level of problem-solving skills among Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 27 Makassar, and (3) the relationship between scientific literacy skills and problem-solving skills among Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 27 Makassar. The population of this study consisted of all Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 27 Makassar in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, with a sample size of 260 students. The research instruments included a 15-item scientific literacy test and a 15-item problem-solving skills test. Data collection was conducted through direct testing. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results, it can be concluded that: 1) The level of scientific literacy skills was in the "moderate" category, with an average score of 9.37, 2) that: 1) 2) The level of problem-solving skills was in the "moderate" category, with an average score of 32.7, and 3) There was a weak correlation between scientific literacy skills and problem-solving skills, with an r value 0,533.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to help street children in the city of Makassar acquire productive skills through basic entrepreneurship training. The community service activities are carried out at the Science Education Study Program, FMIPA UNM. The method of implementing community service activities for basic entrepreneurship training for street children in the city of Makassar is conducted. The result of the community service activities is the creation of productive skills in entrepreneurship both before and after the training. It is hoped that this community service will help children improve their production skills, especially in helping them become better entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap pembelajaran dan fasilitas di SDN 30 Manggalung; 2) mengukur kepuasan pada lima Aspek, yaitu pembelajaran, penilaian, lingkungan kelas, fasilitas, dan karakter; 3) mengidentifikasi aspek yang menjadi kekuatan; 4) mengidentifikasi aspek yang memerlukan perbaikan; dan 5) membandingkan kepuasan antara kelas rendah dan kelas tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, melibatkan 65 siswa kelas 1–6 sebagai responden. Instrumen berupa kuesioner skala Likert 4 poin yang mencakup lima Aspek: pembelajaran, penilaian, lingkungan kelas, fasilitas, dan karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) kepuasan siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata skor 3,68; 2) Aspek lingkungan kelas 3,8, karakter 3,79, dan pembelajaran 3,78 memperoleh skor tertinggi, sedangkan fasilitas memperoleh skor terendah 3,23; 3) kekuatan sekolah terletak pada lingkungan kelas, karakter guru, dan kualitas pembelajaran; 4) area yang perlu mendapat perhatian adalah alat peraga IPA 2,53 dan fasilitas air bersih 2,69; dan 5) terdapat penurunan kepuasan dari kelas rendah 3,93 ke kelas tinggi 3,53, terutama terkait fasilitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan rata-rata skor literasi SDG 4 tentang pendidikan berkualitas pada mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Pengantar Pendidikan, (2) menganalisis skor literasi SDG 4 pada setiap dimensi (pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan) mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Pengantar Pendidikan, dan (3) menganalisis korelasi antara dimensi pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan dalam literasi SDG 4 pada mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Pengantar Pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif-korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa program kependidikan yang mengikuti mata kuliah Pengantar Pendidikan pada tiga kelas (A, B, dan ICP). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh sehingga seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 96 mahasiswa dijadikan sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes literasi SDG 4 berbentuk uraian yang dikembangkan berdasarkan tiga indikator, yaitu pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan tindakan, kemudian diberi skor menggunakan rubrik dan dikonversi ke skala 0–100. Teknik analisis data meliputi statistik deskriptif (rata-rata, kategori) dan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) literasi SDG 4 mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Pengantar Pendidikan secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori Baik dengan skor rata-rata 73,16; (2) skor rata-rata literasi SDG 4 pada dimensi pengetahuan sebesar 73,59, dimensi sikap sebesar 71,98, dan dimensi tindakan sebesar 73,91, yang ketiganya berada dalam kategori Baik; dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif yang kuat dan signifikan antara ketiga dimensi literasi SDG 4, dengan koefisien korelasi Spearman sebesar ρ = 0,777 untuk pengetahuan–sikap, ρ = 0,730 untuk pengetahuan–tindakan, dan ρ = 0,776 untuk sikap–tindakan (p < 0,001).Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan literasi SDG 4 pada mata kuliah Pengantar Pendidikan perlu diarahkan pada penguatan terpadu aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan mahasiswa terkait pendidikan berkualitas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to ascertain the following: (1) learning outcomes of grade IX students at SMPN 33 Makassar before and after the implementation of Student Worksheets (LKPD) assisted by PhET Simulation; (2) improvement in student learning outcomes following the implementation of LKPD assisted by PhET Simulation; and (3) significance of the improvement in student learning outcomes. This study employed pre-experimental methods and a one-group pretest-posttest design. 270 ninth-grade students from SMPN 33 Makassar made up the population. Thirty kids from grade IX F were chosen as samples using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a 20-item multiple-choice exam. Pretest and posttest data were collected, and descriptive and inferential statistics were used for analysis. The findings demonstrated that: (1) learning outcomes increased in the medium category with an N-Gain score of 0.42; (2) the average pretest score was 6.83 (low category), while the average posttest score increased to 12.23 (medium category); and (3) student learning outcomes significantly increased following the implementation of LKPD with assistance from PhET Simulation.
