Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of authentic happiness of students and to test whether group guidance with the halaqah method is effective in increasing authentic happiness. The study used a true experimental design with the Solomon Four-Group Design. The sample in this study was as many as 60 respondents, who were divided into four groups of 15 respondents from Islamic counseling and Islamic education counseling students. This research instrument used the Authentic Happiness Scale, which consisted of 23 valid statement items and a reliability of 0.870. The results of the study showed that the average authentic happiness was in the less happy category. After being given an intervention, authentic happiness increased to the happy category. The results of the study also showed that there was a difference in the authentic happiness of students in the experimental and control groups after being given a group guidance intervention with the halaqah method by controlling the initial ability of happiness. Then, the results of the study also showed that there was a difference in the authentic happiness of students in the experimental and control groups after being given a group guidance intervention with the Halaqoh method. So, it can be concluded that group guidance with the halaqah method is effective in increasing happiness.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ reading comprehension through the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning strategy at SMP N 9 Batanghari. The research applied a collaborative Classroom Action Research design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants were 30 students of Class IX A in the 2024/2025 academic year, selected purposively because the class demonstrated the lowest reading comprehension performance among the Grade IX classes. The study was conducted in two cycles and six meetings. Cycle I implemented TGT using origami-based question cards, whereas Cycle II integrated Quizizz as the tournament medium. Data were collected through a pre-test, Post-Test I, Post-Test II, teacher and student observation sheets, field notes, and a student questionnaire. The findings showed a progressive increase in the students’ mean scores from 70.47 in the pre-test to 78.87 in Post-Test I and 88.13 in Post-Test II. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test indicated a significant difference at p < 0.05. The questionnaire had a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.989 and showed positive student perceptions. Observations and field notes also revealed greater participation, confidence, collaboration, and engagement. Therefore, TGT, strengthened by Quizizz in Cycle II, effectively improved students’ reading comprehension and created a more interactive, collaborative, and motivating learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui Kualitas Pelayanan Publik dan faktor penghambat dalam pelaksaan layanan Surat keterangan Kurang Mampu Di Kelurahan Air Dingin. Penelitian  ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan teori Kualitas pelayanan publik dengan indikator sikap petugas, prosedur pelayanan, waktu pelayanan, fasilitas pelayanan, biaya pelayanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sikap petugas yang ramah dan responsif, prosedur pelayanan yang jelas, waktu pelayanan yang relatif cepat, fasilitas pelayanan yang cukup memadai, serta transparansi biaya pelayanan yang sesuai dengan ketentuan. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu ditingkatkan, seperti optimalisasi fasilitas pendukung khususnya akses disabilitas, peningkatan kecepatan pelayanan saat antrean ramai, serta penyempurnaan media informasi pelayanan agar lebih mudah dipahami masyarakat.
