Abstract

Air Manis Padang Beach is one of the popular beach attractions in West Sumatra. Apart from enjoying the natural panorama and waves, this beach cannot be separated from the legend of Maling Kundang. This sweet water beach has an unspoiled natural atmosphere. Plastic waste management in the Air Manis beach area aims to increase public awareness regarding the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment and the importance of maintaining beach cleanliness. Plastic waste management is a priority program based on the condition of the most abundant and frequently encountered piles of plastic waste. Therefore, local people and tourists will better understand the negative impact of plastic waste on the environment. And it can encourage a reduction in the amount of plastic waste that is thrown away carelessly, thereby reducing pollution in coastal areas. In this way, the beach will become more beautiful and attractive for tourists, thereby having a positive impact on the local tourism sector. The method used is an educational and participatory approach through socialization, discussions, quizzes activities, giving out door prizes. This research involved 10 respondents consisting of local communities, tourist visitors and tourism business actors. The research results show that this outreach increases public awareness and understanding of the importance of disposing of waste in the right place, as well as Pancasila ethical values such as environmental concern, social responsibility and shared awareness. This activity has a positive impact on the environment and quality of life of the surrounding community, as well as increasing awareness of the importance of environmental conservatio

Abstract

The economy in Indonesia since the pandemic storm in 2019 has experienced various shocks, many large companies have been forced to lay off dozens or even hundreds of employees due to the declining economic graph. The impact is in the form of poverty and even economic difficulties that are increasingly visible. This is a big challenge for Indonesia in its efforts to survive and continue to try to improve the economy through strategic programs with the aim of reducing the decline in society after the pandemic, educating the public to prepare themselves to help grow the Indonesian economy with MSMEs. The Indonesian Waqf Board wants to join hands with the government in helping to improve the economy so that it gets better, namely by optimizing the management of waqf money. This big program requires many parties to take part in it, for example the Ministry of Religion has participated in campaigning for the optimization of waqf money through its institutions. Because waqf money when viewed from long-term progress is able to welcome and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) initiated by the United Nations with the goal of sustainable development. So that in the future Indonesia will be able to become a country that is advanced in the economic sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of sport sociology in the practice of coaching and leadership of soccer coaches, especially in the context of multicultural teams. Through a qualitative approach and in-depth interviews with a number of soccer coaches, it was found that understanding the social background, culture, and individual values of players is very important in creating effective interpersonal relationships in the team. The results showed that coaches who have intercultural communication skills and adaptive leadership styles tend to be successful in building strong social cohesion and solidarity among players. Social integration in a soccer team is a dynamic process, where the coach acts as a socialization agent who is able to balance diversity without causing internal conflict. These findings contribute to the development of more inclusive and socially value-oriented coaching strategies. This study also emphasizes the importance of coaching training that includes social and cultural aspects in the management of modern sports teams.

Abstract

Power outages in residential environments such as boarding houses often disrupt safety and comfort due to the lack of adequate emergency lighting systems. This study aims to develop a Smart Emergency Lamp Home prototype using the Internet of Things (IoT) with a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller. The system is designed to automatically activate emergency lighting during power failures and enable real-time monitoring and control via a web-based interface. The research follows an engineering method involving system design, hardware-software integration, and prototype testing. The hardware includes power sensors (INA219 and PZEM-004T), a 12V battery, inverter, relay module, and TFT display, while the software uses Node.js and a PostgreSQL database for web monitoring. Testing results demonstrate the system's high responsiveness, accurate sensor data transmission, efficient power usage (with power factors above 0.94), and stable operation during simulated blackouts. The notification system also worked effectively, providing timely alerts regarding lamp status and battery conditions. This prototype offers a practical, scalable, and low-cost solution for emergency lighting in residential settings and can be further developed with features like solar charging and mobile-based monitoring.

The research location is at the Peudada Sub-district Office. The population of this study was 40 civil servants. The sample of this study was 40 civil servants. The method used is a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression model, to analyze the influence of the independent variable (free) on the dependent variable (bound) using SPSS. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the results of the partial test with a value of t count> t table (4,077> 2,028) a significant probability of 0.025 <0.05, indicating that the Service Quality variable affects employee performance at the Peudada Sub-district Office. The results of the partial test with a value of t count >t table (2,145> 2,028) a significant probability of 0.045 <0.05, indicating that the Discipline variable affects employee performance at the Peudada Sub-district Office. The partial test result of t count < t table (-2,919 < 2,028) significant probability of 0.026 < 0.05, indicates that the Workload variable affects employee performance at the Peudada Sub-district Office. The partial test result of F count > F table (9,041 > 2,87) with a significance of F of 0.000 with a probability of < 0.05. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected H3 is accepted. This means that the variables of Service Quality, Discipline and Workload together (simultaneously) have a significant influence on employee performance variables at the Peudada Sub-district Office.

Abstract

The problem of inorganic waste that is difficult to decompose poses a serious threat to environmental sustainability, both in rural and urban areas. Low public awareness of the long-term impacts of waste drives the need for simple, easy-to-understand educational strategies that directly involve residents. This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of residents of Silea Village, Wundulako District, Kolaka Regency, through visual information media that explains the length of time it takes for various types of waste to decompose. The implementation method begins with field observations to determine strategic installation points, followed by the design of information signs, the production process, and the installation stage with residents. The activity took place on August 8–10, 2025, involving 15 KKN students, village officials, and community groups. The number of participants involved in the socialization session was 45 people, consisting of housewives, youth from the youth organization, and representatives of the dasawisma (village). The results of the activity showed an increase in public understanding in differentiating between organic and inorganic waste, as well as awareness of the long-term impacts of accumulating plastic, cans, and glass waste. Active community participation in the sign installation process also fostered a sense of ownership, making the educational message more easily accepted. For housewives, the primary benefit was an understanding of daily household waste management, while for youth, this activity opened up insights into the importance of the younger generation's role in protecting the environment. In conclusion, the use of visual media in the form of information signs has proven to be an effective new approach to environmental literacy. This activity not only raises awareness but also strengthens community involvement, thus enabling more sustainable waste management.
