Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Supervision and Human Resource Development on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat Office for Goods/Services Procurement Section of Maros Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data in the form of data available at the Regional Secretariat Office for Goods/Services Procurement Section. The population in this study consists of all employees in the goods/services procurement section at the Regional Secretariat Office of Maros Regency, totaling 40 people. The analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression, as presented in the research results. The research results show that Supervision (X1) and Human Resource Development (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at the Regional Secretariat Office for Goods/Services Procurement in Maros Regency have a positive and significant effect. Based on the t-test results, for the supervision variable on performance, the supervision variable has a t-value of (6.804) > t-table (1.692) and a significance value < 0.05, which is 0.000. The t-value is greater than the t-table, indicating a positive effect, and the significance value is less than 0.05, indicating significance. For the Human Resource Development variable on performance, the Human Resource Development variable has a t-value of (3.774) > t-table (1.692) and a significance value < 0.05, which is 0.001. The t-value is greater than the t-table, indicating a positive effect, and the significance value is less than 0.05, indicating significance. Which means that simultaneously, the influence of Supervision and Human Resource Development has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of the Regional Secretariat Office for the Goods/Services Procurement Section of Maros Regency.

Abstract

Harga saham sangat mempengaruhi posisi perusahaan dalam BEI. Hal ini tentu saja menjadikan kewaspadaan investor dalam berinvestasi. Pada perusahaan farmasi sendiri mengalami fluktuasi yang disebabkan oleh banyak hal diantaranya laba dan arus kas. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui adanya pengaruh antara laba dan arus kas atas harga saham perusahaan farmasi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dari BEI. Pengujian statistik dengan pengujian asumsi klasik pengujian hipotesis pengujian determinasi dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Data diambil dari 8 perusahaan farmasi BEI periode 20188-2022 yang telah memenuhi kriteria pemilihan sampel. Hasil penelitian menyatakan adanya peningkatan harga saham dipengaruhi oleh laba dan arus kas baik secara parsial maupun signifikan. Kemudian hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi menunjukkan nilai Adjusted R square sebesar  35,5%, artinya laba dan arus kas memiliki kontribusi 35,5% terhadap harga saham. Kesimpulannya adalah semakin meningkatnya laba dan arus kas, akan semakin meningkat harga saham di perusahaan farmasi.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yakni peserta didik yang memiliki percaya diri yang rendah terhadap optimisme masa depan . Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan self talk dalam meningkatkan percaya diri pada siswa Z kelas VIII SMPN 26 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus klinis. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dengan teknik tringulasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu (1) Gambaran percaya diri rendah terhadap optimisme masa depan yang dialami siswa Z yaitu gugup dalam mengerjakan sesuatu, kemampuan bersosialisasi rendah, tidak percaya dengan kemampuannya sendiri, merasa diri memiliki banyak kekurangan. (2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi kurang percaya diri pada siswa Z karena faktor ekternal yaitu tuntutan keluarga. (3) Upaya yang dilakukan pada siswa Z yang memiliki percaya diri yang rendah yaitu memberikan teknik self talk untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa Z terhadap optimisme masa depan. Pemberian teknik self talk pada siswa Z yaitu mulai mengalami perubahan terutama dalam bersosialisasi, tidak gugup ketika mengutarakan pendapat, menunjukkan tingkah laku yang aktif dan positif, percaya terhadap kemampuannya sendiri dan mampu mengeksplorasikan kemampuan yang dimilikinya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Abstracts - Employees are an important asset of a company to achieve the goals of the company's vision and mission. To retain employees, leaders are needed who are able to motivate their employees. Motivation is a good desire in a person to do something both consciously and unconsciously, done with enthusiasm so that the goal can be achieved. With strong motivation, a company can develop rapidly and vice versa, if there is no motivation for its employees, the company will not develop or advance. The success of a company really depends on how the activity and creativity of the human resources in the company. Therefore, researchers conducted research at the company PT Kimia Farma Tbk Plant Watudakon in Jombang with data collection methodology, namely observation, documentation and questionnaires and discussed what factors affect employee motivation with data qualitative data analysis methods with the data used is quantitative data. This study uses a closed interview technique by circulating several statements that are typed online via google form. From the research results, the results for physiological needs are 78.6% and 65.7%, the need for security is 81.5% and 70%, social needs are 91.4% and 64.3%, self-esteem or ego needs are 70% and 77.1%, and self-actualization needs are 81.5% and 32.8%. From the existing conclusions, it is found that the need for self-actualization is the lowest dimension of motivation. This indicates that many employees can do work outside of their job desk, so the author suggests that companies further explore employee abilities through job enlargemenet, job enrichment, job rotation and job empowerment programs.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia (MAN IC) in Kendari City is one of the OSN (National Science Olympiad) participants in the subject of biology, which is required to understand the idea and practice of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). However, there are insufficient skilled PCR teachers at the school, and no PCR facilities are currently accessible. The goal of this mentoring is to provide an in-depth understanding of the concept of PCR as well as full training on how to use PCR effectively. The method consists of two components: community education and training. The introduction of the PCR concept in this community service includes genetic material, DNA concepts, genes, genomes, DNA isolation, and DNA replication, while the training material includes solution taking techniques, PCR solution preparation, PCR usage procedures, PCR result visualization with electrophoresis, and data interpretation. The PCR has three main steps consisting of denaturation, annealing and extension which are carried out for 30-35 cycles with different temperatures at each step. The evaluation results showed that this mentoring helped the student understand PCR and was beneficial for the OSN competition due to its relevance to the competition syllabus. Moreover, the student also received a bronze medal in the biology competition.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine how digital literacy and organizational adaptability jointly influence civil servant performance within the context of Indonesia’s digital transformation agenda. While digital tools are increasingly integrated into public sector operations, limited attention has been paid to the interaction between individual digital competencies and institutional adaptability in determining work effectiveness. This research contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of civil servant performance by addressing this interdependence. Design/method/approach – A qualitative exploratory case study approach was employed, involving semi-structured interviews with 12 civil servants from two government institutions—one at the national level and one at the regional level. The participants were selected purposively based on their active involvement in digital administrative processes. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify patterns related to digital skill application, organizational support, and performance outcomes. Findings – The findings indicate that digital literacy enhances civil servants’ efficiency, confidence, and engagement, but its impact is highly contingent upon the organizational environment. Adaptive institutions that promote learning, flexibility, and supportive leadership enable civil servants to fully utilize their digital competencies. In contrast, rigid bureaucracies with limited innovation capacity tend to inhibit performance, even among digitally skilled employees. The interplay between individual and organizational factors emerges as a critical determinant of effective public service delivery. Implications – The study provides practical insights for policymakers and public managers seeking to improve civil service performance. It recommends integrated capacity-building strategies that simultaneously enhance digital skills and foster adaptive institutional cultures. Theoretically, it advances public administration literature by linking micro-level competencies with macro-level organizational dynamics. Novelty/Originality – This research offers original contributions by exploring the dual role of digital literacy and organizational adaptability in a developing country context, an area that remains underexplored. It bridges individual and institutional perspectives, offering a holistic lens on performance enhancement in the digital era

Abstract

Peraturan Desa (Perdes) merupakan instrumen hukum penting dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa yang demokratis dan partisipatif. Namun, banyak pemerintah desa masih menghadapi kendala dalam proses penyusunan Perdes yang sesuai dengan ketentuan hukum dan aspirasi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas aparatur desa di Kabupaten Bogor dalam menyusun Perdes yang partisipatif, transparan, dan akuntabel. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan teknis yang melibatkan perangkat desa, Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD), serta tokoh masyarakat. Materi pelatihan meliputi dasar hukum pembentukan Perdes, teknik penyusunan naskah akademik, dan strategi pelibatan masyarakat dalam proses legislasi desa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap prinsip-prinsip perundang-undangan dan tata kelola yang baik, serta munculnya komitmen bersama untuk menerapkan proses penyusunan Perdes yang lebih inklusif. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong terciptanya forum komunikasi antar pemangku kepentingan desa sebagai wadah konsultasi dan kolaborasi. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan desa serta pengembangan tata kelola pemerintahan desa yang lebih partisipatif dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat.

Abstract

Manajemen waktu merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa angkatan kedua untuk meraih keberhasilan akademis sekaligus menjaga kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Werisar mengelola waktu dan dampaknya terhadap keseimbangan akademis dan kondisi psikologis mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terhadap 20 mahasiswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang memiliki strategi manajemen waktu yang baik, seperti penjadwalan, penentuan skala prioritas, dan penggunaan aplikasi pengingat, cenderung mampu menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu, memiliki prestasi akademik yang stabil, dan mengalami stres mental yang lebih rendah. Sebaliknya, mahasiswa yang tidak mampu mengelola waktu secara efektif cenderung mengalami kelelahan akademis, stres, dan gangguan tidur. Dengan demikian, keterampilan manajemen waktu terbukti menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara tuntutan akademis dan kesehatan mental mahasiswa . Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pelatihan manajemen waktu bagi mahasiswa angkatan kedua sejak awal perkuliahan untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar dan kesejahteraan psikologis mereka.

Abstract

This study explores the intersection between traditional healing practices and medical treatment adherence through a qualitative literature-based analysis grounded in an integrative ethnographic framework. The objective is to examine how cultural beliefs, spiritual interpretations of illness, and healer-patient dynamics influence adherence behaviors, particularly within low- and middle-income contexts where medical pluralism is prevalent. The research adopts a constructivist epistemology, employing a systematic review of 37 peer-reviewed qualitative and mixed-methods studies published between 2015 and 2025. Data were thematically synthesized to identify key patterns in dual treatment use, cultural logics of illness, relational trust, and healthcare system interfaces. The findings reveal that traditional healing does not inherently contradict biomedical adherence but interacts with it in complex and context-dependent ways. Patients often navigate between healing systems based on cultural alignment, familial influence, and perceived trustworthiness, while systemic barriers such as inadequate communication and institutional mistrust further complicate adherence. Integrative models—such as healer-clinic collaborations, culturally tailored counseling, and participatory communication strategies—demonstrated improved adherence outcomes in several settings. The study contributes to theoretical frameworks of adherence by incorporating sociocultural dimensions and proposes managerial innovations to institutionalize culturally embedded practices. It concludes by emphasizing the need for sustainable, inclusive health models that bridge epistemic divides between biomedicine and indigenous knowledge systems. These findings offer implications for health system reform, policy integration, and community-based intervention design in pluralistic healthcare environments.

Abstract

This study aims to test the antioxidant activity of secondary metabolite compounds contained in paliasa (Kleinhovia hospita Linn) stem bark extract. This plant is traditionally known to have health benefits, but research on the antioxidant activity of its stem bark is still limited. Extraction was done using a maceration method using a methanol solvent, followed by liquid-liquid fractionation using n-hexane and ethyl acetate to separate compounds based on their polarity. Phytochemical screening showed that the n-hexane fraction contained alkaloids and terpenoids, while the ethyl acetate fraction contained alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and saponins. The antioxidant activity of both fractions was tested using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method with absorbance measurements at a wavelength of 517 nm. The test results showed that the ethyl acetate fraction had an IC50 value of 51.7687 ppm, while the n-hexane fraction had an IC50 value of 60.5442 ppm. Based on the classification of antioxidant activity, both fractions are categorized as strong antioxidants (IC50 between 50-100 ppm). For comparison, vitamin C has an IC50 value of 14.3421 ppm, indicating strong antioxidant activity. The results of this study indicate that paliasa bark extract, especially the ethyl acetate fraction, has the potential as a source of natural antioxidants that can be further developed in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries as an alternative to synthetic antioxidants with toxicity risks.
